End of October!

HI I'M BACK YAYY. So i promised that Oct will have more than 3 posts and here's my 4th post for the month!!! I apologise cause i'm just gonna spam pics and describe everything briefly haha. BUT BETTER THAN NOTHING :D

I was feeling vain so i took a selfie in this top which i really love!!

Finally got to meet the jc peeps!! THANKFUL :) Had dinner at Supply & Demand and even though everyone took awhile to come i still had a lot of fun catching up with whoever was there haha. Main update is that Nicole is attached :O HAPPY FOR HER!! Then we had bingsu for dessert yay and chow and fad joined us along with their dates ;)

HEIGHT GRADIENT. Kind of fail though but it's okay :P  Yay it was really nice meeting them!! Made me miss JC so much :( Even though i always felt that we could be closer, i'm still really thankful for the friendships and the memories in SA :D Hehe genuinely glad that they're all doing okay :) We will meet again soon!!

Following day! Had school then went to have dinner with Andy at somewhere near his house :D I love this western stall?!

The following day: Tiong bahru bakery for brunch!! YUMZZ. Hehe we were extra clingy cause after this i had FA and RIGHT after FA we watched a movie tgt and went for dinner haha.

We watched a Thai movie called Heart Attack!! YAY WE REALLY ENJOYED IT :) It was damn funny but also v meaningful haha. It's kind of like a dark comedy? Like it shows how people can get overly caught up with their work lives to the point that they dk how to 'live'. HAHA IDK. WATCH IT IF YOU CAN :D

Sadly i got anxious towards the end cause the movie lasted longer than expected haha and i had to go for prac!! We chiong-ed dinner then we walked me to SOE :) Samba has been pretty fun hehe. We just finished learning our second song!! SUPER EXCITING. I can't wait for Samballoween :D

Wednesday: I remember that i just studied in school and did almost nothing haha. But then afterwards i got to meet Pearl for dinner :D STILL THANKFUL THAT WE'RE BOTH IN SMU.

Friday!! BOOK-OUT AGAIN YAYY. I was quite busy that day cause i had two meetings :( Hehe right after my second meeting i went to meet Andy for dinner!! He looks slim in this photo (thumbs up) (this is why he should always let me take photos of him)

And as usual i had Samba prac on Fridays haha so we went to Koufu to chill for awhile before he walked me to SOE :D Lol he didn't want to take this selfie intially cause we were in koufu hahaha but i insisted :P

Saturday: Spent some time with Andy then at 6ish i had to go off for some Hk awards show!! It was fun haha i wore a dress yay but afterwards i had to change :P Cause my bondue friends and I were gonna go surprise Ty!! WE WENT AT 12AM HEHE. IT WAS HIS 21ST BDAYY. Took the train from Bayfront all the way to Sengkang omggg. It was freaking far but yeah worth the trip lah haha. Yay thank goodness i was on time :D Hehe so we walked to his house which was just somewhere above the mrt station lol so convenient :)

PREPPED EVERYTHING & RANG THE DOORBELL. His mom opened the door at first haha she's really cute!! Yay glad that he enjoyed the surprise and that he totally didn't see it coming!! :P

Yay then we just sat around and started talking about random stuff haha. Oh and we were discussing what to do for our Christmas gathering!! So we decided to play Secret Santa and randomly picked our gift recipient HAHA. We just wrote all of our names down on separate pieces of paper and took turns to pick one!! I hope I find smth nice for the person who's receiving a present from me haha.

Intruder alert. Haha i was planning to just go home after this cause it was like 2+ alr?! BUT THEY WANTED TO EAT. Hahaha so no choice i just followed them lorh. But it was fun spending time with them haha. We had macs omg. Super sinful but it felt v shiok HAHA. NO REGRETS :D So yeap i cabbed home from Serangoon afterwards!! :) I got home at 3.30am i think haha. 

SUNDAYYY. SMELLY BOY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO GYM. I look extremely tired here haha oops. Cause i only slept for a short while the prev night :( at 9+ i got up by accident and couldn't go back to sleep :P

Then we met Weiwei, WX and Canice!! :) IT'S BEEN AWHILEEE. HEHEHE. Andy and I went to Wx's house first and we were mainly just watching this season's X Factor videos and omg i'm blown away by some of the contestants!!! GONNA FOLLOW THIS SEASON THROUGH YOUTUBE.

Then Wei wei came and we had zi char nearby!! FOLLOWED BY CREAMIERRR. I LOVE CREAMIER HEHE. Yay quality time with them finally <3 Wei wei got to update us on her love life aww. SO HAPPY FOR HERRR!!

Went back and started watching videos and spazzing over fantastic singers again haha. Then Andy had to leave cause he had to book in really early the next day! So yeap we quickly took pics before leaving :)

YAY <3 Then Andy's dad sent me home :) Can't wait to meet them again hehe. I wouldn't mind having a sleepover soon :D

BACK TO SCHOOL ZZZ. I had no morning lesson yay! NO PWR FOR TWO WEEKS. SHIOKK. So my mom brought my bro and i to this atas Chinese restaurant at Orchard haha. The food was so good :O

THE CHAR SIEW WAS HEAVENLY. The skin was really crisp and sweet i think it's caramelised or smth haha. And the charcoal char siew bao is so prettyyy. But the taste was average though haha.

Ps didn't take many pics of the food cause i was too hungry and they looked so yummy i just forgot about taking photos haha. THIS AVOCADO DESSERT IS REALLY GOOD TOO!! :) So glad i stayed for the dessert haha i almost wanted to leave first :P Then i went to school to do some work and went for my last VUCA lesson! The following weeks will purely be presentations haha.

SO YEAPP THAT'S ALL. A really brief post i know haha. I shall blog about Samballoween and other random stuff soon!! As of now life has been alright but finals are coming and i'm not sure how prepared i am and how well i'll do for this sem :( Really must chiong and put in my best effort because if not now when?!?! HAHAHA. Okay shall go now then!! :) HEHE CYA SOON I PROMISEEEE :)

Samba Camp + MISC

HI THEREE. I'm back yay!! Gonna talk about Samba Camp and some random stuff haha. Though i'm not as consistent as i used to be, i'm still glad that i'm making an effort to blog once in awhile :) September was zzz lol only 3 posts :( October shall have more than 3 posts!! 

Samba Camp

Samba Camp was really fun!! :) My only disappointment was that my section didn't get to htht on the second night :( I was really looking forward to it but everyone was just too tired and went straight to sleep haha. OH WELL. Nvm we'll have other opportunities :)

Day 1: Facepaint workshop!! I was quite a noob at face-painting but i tried my best haha. Here's Ellice and I!

My camp group! Group 6 haha. They're all really nice!! :) THANKFUL HAHA. 

EGM! It's this annual meeting that we have every year haha. So every year there's a theme and we had to dress according to the theme! Our section picked Peter Pan :D We were damn on point haha. Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy and Tiger Lily were the most on point sia (thumbs up). Sadly i was just one of the lost boys cause i was too lazy to dress as other characters hahaha. 

The first part was really serious and boring haha cause our prez had to read out all the rules :O So sad haha but yeah i guess we understood the need for it. 

Juniors' initiation! We had to go up when they called our section then hit our instrument once hahaha. Then our seniors would apply face paint on us :P It was kinda weird but in a funny and interesting way haha.

Day 2

SHIRT-CUTTING WORKSHOP. My scissors were so crappy omg i ended up borrowing Nic and Ellice's scissors haha. Chose not to cut the sleeves off cause i don't wanna feel insecure during performances :P Haha maybe next year i'll change my mind about it who knows. But yeah overall quite happy with the result!! :D

Then we had random activities including station games, body percussion workshop and special prac! We had normal prac for two hours first haha. I was happy to play my bell :D Then we had special prac! So everyone gets allocated to a diff instrument and the seniors will teach us how to play Reggae on our 'new' instrument! So cool haha. I got timbals! Honestly i think it's a v cool instrument but i was too tired that day to really put in effort into playing it :( And my hands were hurting so badly omg :P Haha oh well. It was still interesting :)

Then my section went to have thai food for dinner :D IT WAS SO GOOD HEHE. That was our first section dinner aww. Like with the seniors haha.

Before night games if i rmb correctly! The night games were pretty fun haha. I liked the fact that we didn't really have to move about :P Like everything was played within one room haha yayy.

Then my section watched Mean Girls together :D And after the movie everyone just went to sleep. Haha oh well. At least we got sufficient rest for Day 3 :)

Day 3

All that was on our schedule was PHOTOSHOOT!! So we had to prepare by putting on make-up, face paint and getting into our samba outfit (cut-out shirt + black shorts). HEHE IT WAS FUN :D

Credits to Vanessa who helped me do my face paint!! :) I ended up taking the bandana off and braiding my hair instead haha. Felt like the bandana didn't really look good on me :P

OTW TO MBS.

OUR TURN. We had to take a jump shot with the river and buildings as the backdrop!! SO COOL. But it was quite hard to take a nice jump shot haha. The weather sucked so yeah we were like quite sian and all. And the feeling of not being satisfied with your pic is quite shitty :O But yeah although i don't really love my photo is was still alright lah haha.

After the photoshoot we went to have lunch then came back for a full band photo! :)

Hehe overall camp was really fun and i'm glad that i got to know more people outside of my section :) Still wish that the bell girls got to htht but it's okay lah we'll have other opportunities :)

Can't rmb which day it was but i had dim sum with my Inspirar group!! :) Really missed them haha. Had a really fun night with them :D Daniel drove us around and we had to squeeze like crazy LOL. Hehe the dim sum was really good!! After this we had dessert at Serangoon then i went home by train :) 

LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT MEET-UP :D Oh and Yu Jer helped me buy this new bottle!! It has a flat surface and is A5 haha. SO COOL. 

BOOK OUT YAYY. We had dinner at Genki sushi then watched Pan!! :)

WHY

The sushi this time didn't taste that good :( Oh well haha. 

Pan was alright!! Imo it wasn't that bad but it has negative reviews LOL. And we only found that out when we were in the cinema hahaha.

The following day we had brunch with Ky and Ws at this cafe called The Fabulous Baker Boy!! :) SO GLAD THAT KY CAME HEHE.

It was a really nice place :)

THE CAKES LOOKED SO GOOD. Couldn't stop staring at them haha. 

Ws's birthday was approaching so we prepared a mini surprise for him!! I arrived late LOL haha was supposed to meet Andy and Ky early to get the stuff haha then they ended up just getting everything themselves. They got him a slice of cake + a pullover! And as a joke Andy bought ws a condom....... -.- Haha idk if he will really use it. 

So we waited for damn long and Ws finally came haha. But cause he took damn long we ended up ordering before him hahaha.

And our eggs ben!! Andy Ky and I all ordered eggs ben with spinach HAHAHA. Ugh i regret cause personally i think that the spinach ruins the taste :P

I was eyeing the cakes the entire time so i ended getting this for us to share!! Sadly it was rather disappointing :( Haha but nvm at least i tried lah :P

Then we made an impromptu decision to go to escape room!! :D Went to the one at peace centre which is near SMU haha. And we picked the second hardest room HAHA. Had to solve some mystery about the 12 zodiacs!

Omg it was so much better than the one at OC haha. Like their props and tech is a whole new level :O Haha for the first room there was this fireplace thing, then we activated smth and the fireplace moved to reveal a hole that we had to crawl through :O DAMN COOL. But we were damn shocked and scared when it started moving hahaha. There were 4 rooms in total but we only managed to enter 3! So yeah nevermind haha it's the second hardest room after all :P STIL HAD A LOT OF FUN HEHE.

Then i went to Andy's house to chill and sian i forgot what we did :( I'm not sure if this was the day that we bought lor mee haha. But ya just wanted to bring that up cause i love the lor mee below his house!! SUPER GOOD HEHE.

I had to go to sch for a group meeting so before that Andy and I met for lunch!! I had to buy random stuff and he decided to go cut his hair hahaha. DAMN FUNNY LOL. I was being a creepy gf as usual. And he caught me creepily taking pics of him HAHAHA hence his expression in the second photo :P It was v sushiisashimi worthy so i posted it immediately haha.

Then i got sent to school :D SMU is so near everywhere i'm so glad i chose this sch!!

ANDD being our clingy selves we had to meet again after my meeting hahaha. Then he had to go back to camp :( YEAPP.

And i went to meet my family for dinner at haidilao!! :) YAY it was good. I LOVE THAT PLACE :D

The very next day i had my second VUCA presentation!! :) OUR COLOUR CODE WAS WHITE HAHA. Lol Leon wearing grey :P Haha but yay it went pretty well!! :) I think prof liked it?? HOPEFULLY SHE DID. So proud of us and I honestly hope we get another A+ and ace our final presentation too hahaha. 

Wednesday: Andy fell sick the previous day so he got to go home that night!! So on Wednesday right after my lesson ended i went to visit him haha. Though i was pretty worried about him being sick, i was also glad that we got to spend extra time tgt cause he was on MC haha. Yeahh. Hope he gets used to sergeant life soon! His schedule is quite crappy but it's okay he will pull through (muscle arm).

Afterwards i had dinner with the JC peeps YAYY FINALLY :)) I missed them :') Haha we went to city hall and had Korean food for dinner :D Got to catch up on quite a number of things! :) Gonna have to meet Chow 1-1 for her to go into detail about everything that's happening in her life haha.

Then i went to Tiong Bahru Bakery and bought apple crumble!! It made my night and morning so much better. Cause this week i was pretty stressed over school work :O and i kinda lacked sleep again so yeahh. Was really eager for it to end.

Yesterday (Thursday): Had lesson at 8.15 omg and thank God my prof decided to postpone the due date of my assignment!! SOO i ended up going to Andy's house yay he bought lunch for me then i went to nap and slowly work on my assignment afterwards!! I still felt damn tired after my nap but yeah i didn't feel so stressed anymore haha. So yeah quite thankful for that :) Then Andy went to my house for dinner and we had SUKIYAKI :D HEHE SHIOK. Then i intro-ed him to Mean Girls hahaha so we watched like 1/3 of it then he had to book in :( Oh well time passed too quickly but it was a good day :) 

And the week is finally over (sort of) it's FRIDAY YAY. Actually Saturday alr haha. Samba prac ends at 10.30 so yeah i got home at 11ish and now is my time to unwind haha. Spent almost the whole day studying in labs today and omg i felt so trapped hahaha. Probably not gonna go there so early tmr :P Feels weird to be so free on weekends and not meet Andy :/ I guess i shall just focus on work for the next few days!! (muscle arm) Hehe gonna put in my best effort for the rest of the sem!! Okay it's late haha i shall sleep soon. HEHE HOPEFULLY I'LL CYA SOON :D
