Life in SAJC

HI THEREE. Yay i'm finally blogging again!! :) It's been more than 2 weeks :( Anyway here are some photos that were taken in school, during the past 2-3 weeks. Very happy to say that i've been enjoying school! :) My friends in SA are really awesome and it's thanks to them that i don't dread weekdays (can you believe it). Yeap okay be prepared for another lengthy post!

After an awesome pe lesson! :) So far the furthest we ran during pe is 2km, thank God for that! 

Two Fridays ago, damn unglam but whatever haha. I love how high/crazy we get in school omg, will really miss her when she leaves :(

Taken last Thursday. We were supposed to run 4km that day, i seriously panicked! But then the lightning signal came on and so we couldn't go onto the track, that was when the entire class started cheering hahaha. Ended up just going to the gym yay :)

Just yesterday! :)

Playing Truth or Dare before the sports people leave for Malaysia. So envious omg! The classroom was so empty during Econs tut and there were only 7 of us during Chinese! HAHAH.

Anyway i'm still very confused with Math and Chem. I also don't really get Econs :( I'm only fully aware of what's going on during LIT. For other subjects it's like i half get it, half don't. Noo i have a feeling that i'm gonna flunk my MSAs!! I better make use of this holiday to study and just clarify all my doubts!

Thank goodness i've started having Chem tuition with Pearl. Haha i met her at the CJC bus stop last Tuesday and we went to Beauty World together! It was damn funny how we couldn't even do the first question on our worksheet :P At that point we were just like 'What have we been doing in the past month??' And the Chem tutor is freaking lame but quite good! It's like his explanations are so thorough and i totally get what he's saying. Can't wait for him to start on Atomic Structure lol i'm damn lost in that chapter.

Btw i cut my hair today!! It's super short now :( I regret telling the hairdresser to cut 3 inches! And my fringe sucks :( Really want it to grow faster haha. Kay it's not that terrible lah, but still i miss my long hair! After cutting our hair (my sis and i) my mom brought us to this Jap restaurant for lunch yay :) We were at Crown Centre. Spent the rest of my day slacking, i'm such a horrible student. I haven't even come up with an idea for my PI! It's so hard omgg. Sorry i'm just jumping from one subject to another cause i too many things to talk about, so i'm sorry if this blog post doesn't really flow haha.

Moving on, drama has been stressing me out :( I don't feel as excited to go for drama now because i've recently realised how much i suck at acting! Obtaining a role has seemed to be more of a curse than a blessing. Just yesterday we had drama and i was quite badly criticised by Mr Chee Kam :( Yes it stung but i know that i need to be criticised in order to improve! I'm actually not that worried about being scolded or anything, but i'm damn worried that i won't be able to step up! The last two practices made me feel quite disappointed in myself :( But nvm i'll just give my best and tell myself that i WILL be able to perform up to standard! I guess he cast me cause he thinks i have potential so yeah I CAN DO IT :) Just hope i won't be too affected by this, i have other things to worry about, for instance my school work!

Haha yeap okay time to cheer up. There are good and bad days Sophia!! Can't expect my time in drama to be smooth sailing. So i'm v excited to meet my secondary sch mates this holiday! I REALLY MISS THEM :( And i still really miss St Margs! School may be fun but it just isn't the same without my wacky bunch of friends. Haven't completed gotten used to being in SA yet i guess! Anyway Nic's birthday is on Thursday omgg. We better meet up on that day, even if it's just for lunch or smth. Yeap and i wanna meet my pri sch friends too, haha i might be asking for too much. Hopefully i'll be able to meet them lah. Okay that's about it, so glad that i managed to blog! :) I've been too lazy to start on a blog post. And i JUST realised that i have yet to blog about CNY!! Noooo, i'll try to put up photos soon but don't think i can do much elaboration :( Ugh that's why i hate being behind on blogging. Kay then, shall go now i have to continue thinking about PI haha, BYE! :)

IT'S MARCH

Hi i finished my work early so i decided to blog!! IT'S BEEN SO LONG :( This is crazy how did i manage to blog daily during the O Level period?? Okay i'm going to make this VERY BRIEF.

I volunteered to host the China scholars who were coming to SA so yeah here's my China buddy!! She's Brittany, this instax was taken on her bday haha. She basically spent the whole of last week 'shadowing' me, i expected her to find it really boring but she actually said that it was fun!! HAHA YAY. She's really nice/sweet and super smart too :P Hmm felt weird to not see her in sch today, kinda missing her alr :( But she's gonna be in Singapore cause they're preparing to enter NTU which is why they need a glimpse of the life of being a Singaporean student? Smth like that haha.

(1st March)
It was my brother's birthday!! Had drama workshop which lasted from 3.30-7.30pm so i couldn't join my family for dinner to celebrate his bday :( It was quite sad! But i have to say the workshop was really interesting! I picked up so many new things from it, so glad that i decided to join drama!! Hearing SA band practice during sectionals made me feel relieved that i wasn't a part of them haha :P Wished my brother happy birthday once i got home of course, although it was kinda late!

(2nd March)

The school organised an interactive activity between the JXP Scholars and their buddies (us). We went to THE S.E.A AQUARIUM! It my first time there hehe. Met at Harbourfront station and made our way to RWS! :)

Tbh i wasn't that impressed!! Considering that it's supposed to be the world's largest aquarium, hmm but it was still quite cool lah! :)

JOEYY. Met the rest of the group and we went for lunch together! The teacher-in-charge wasn't even there to supervise us or anything lol.

Headed over to ADVENTURE COVE right after lunch because my brother was having his so-called birthday party!! We have the annual pass so yeah it didn't matter that i only went at 3pm :P

Guess what it RAINED, so half the time we were just hanging around here. Was so tired that i fell asleep at one point hahaha.

Had dinner at Astons! Made me remember the times when i used to have lunch with my section at Astons! 

GOT HOME AND CUT THE CAKE :)) Round 2 of cake-cutting haha, this time with my brother's friends from our estate!

(3rd March)

Went to 313 for lunch with my family, we ate at Din Tai Fung! :) My sister suddenly felt like icing a cake so we were like okay let's just do it for fun! It made me recall the time when Pearl and I iced a cake for Sotong and then i suddenly realised that the following day was Sotong's bday!! Soooo change of plan, we decided to ice the cake for Sotong as a bday gift :) From the 3 of us lah!

My mom actually drove me to Sotong's house so that i can personally deliver the cake to her yay! Called her house to make sure she was home, put down once she picked up :P Got to her house and realised that she went out!! LOL FAIL SOPHIA FAIL. Yeah but it's okay, at least i tried haha. So i called her to tell her that i left something at her house for her! YEAP.

(4th March)

Sotong's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR FRIEND WHOM I'VE KNOWN FOR 10 YEARS. Met Pearl after school at the CJC bus stop haha, wanted to go find Sotong to give her a surprise or smth! And just to meet up lah cause i haven't seen them in so long :( It's quite cool how whenever i take 151/154 home i'll pass by CJC, so i knew exactly how to get there! :) Pearl didn't get Sotong anything yet so we decided to go to town. Took 132 there and bumped into Tanny!! Had fun talking to her :) We got off at Far East and went inside FEP to look for some stuff, ohmygosh i need to shop!! Too bad shopping wasn't our objective, so we couldn't buy anything :( Walked over to Ion and that's when we decided to get her a jacket! Thought that it would be good for her to use during lectures when it gets cold haha.

Went to Daiso because Pearl wanted to buy a card to write for her, but we ended up using CJC foolscap paper haha! SUPER FUNNY. It was damn obvious who wrote what lol.

Finally met her!! She was somewhere at Raffles Place with her secondary school friends and then she had to meet her family for dinner, so yeah could only meet us for awhile :( Oh well but it's better than nothing!! At least we all got to meet up! :)

Walked her to the bus stop so that we could talk more and then we had to part ways! So Pearl and I went back to Ion to have dinner, ate at B4 where all the little shops are. It was awesome catching up with Pearl on JC stuff!! We seriously have to meet more often :( But doubt that'll happen cause we're so busy now! Took the bus home together and it was damn funny how 77 and 106 (Pearl could take both buses) came before 174 but i forced her to take 174 with me haha! Eh but the conversation we had on the bus ride was quite funny/cool/retarded! So yeap i'm sure she has no regrets about waiting to board the same bus as me!

Alright i have to go sleep now!! Hehe so glad i actually bothered to create this post, I'VE MISSED BLOGGING :) I'LL TRY TO UPDATE THIS SPACE MORE REGULARLY OKAY. Cyaa! :)
