HELLO IT'S NOVEMBER. I haven't blogged in awhile :( I have a feeling that this will be my only post for the month cause finals are coming and they end on the 2nd of Dec!! HAHA YEAHH. Shall give a brief update!! These past few weeks have actually been quite happening :) So happy that Raymond came back from Malaysia to spend some time with us haha. We celebrated his bday yay!! YEAP. I SHALL BEGIN.
Samballoween
Samba's annual Halloween affair. It was at this super ulu place but yeah my section made our way there tgt! AND WE DRESSED AS MINIONS HEHEHE. The moment we got there we just went up to the room to change and prepare our outfit haha. Thank you Zixin and Ellice for printing the minion goggles hehe (not that they will see this lol).
We stayed here for awhile while waiting for the seniors haha. But halfway we decided to go down and grab food/socialise then we got bored and went back up to chill LOL.
CAIXAS CAME DRESSED AS PAP HAHAHA. It was damn funny LOL couldn't take any of them seriously.
YAY THEN OUR SENIORS CAME. They bought the drinks haha sadly we didn't drink any of it LOL.

At 9pm they called us down for games!! It was really well-organised and thought out IMO. Haha basically they had a few games and for each game you have to send out one/two people from your section!! They emphasised that must send JUNIORS so yeah. There were only 5 juniors from my section then for one of the later games i was the only junior who hadn't gone up. So ya i had to go and the games person was like "OKAY SO WE'LL BE HAVING A DANCE BATTLE" I was like "OMG......." HAHAHA. Zixin is a dancer but she went up for the v first game!! I tried to get her to go in place of me but she didn't want to :( So ya no choice lol but thankfully they paired us up haha so it wasn't too bad. I got paired with Tian Yi and fortunately the spotlight was all on him (thumbs up)
Yay another section pic before leaving!! We left the earliest haha. After this everyone noticed that the bell girls disappeared HAHAHA. Oh well :P Had to go home lah i had a project meeting the next day.

Finally met Chow again and we decided to try Rollie Ollie!! I'VE BEEN WANTING TO TRY IT HEHE.
AND YAY IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT :))
Then we went to Gong Cha to grab a drink and we just sat there for super long talking haha. Hehe it was nice catching up on everything that was going on in her life!! Really miss being able to catch up on stuff ASAP in school haha. (sorry idk how to phrase this nicely)

Can't remember what went on this day but ya i went to Andy's house before going to school i think haha. Probably went for FA since it was a Tuesday followed by Samba!!

Yay sat here for awhile then again he walked me to school!! Did you notice that i have eyeliner on haha. Odessa helped me draw them cause i noticed that the way she drew her eyes v nice!! So she was like "you want also i help you draw" hahaha. And idk how she did it but i like it for once :O I don't usually like wearing eyeliner :/ SO YAY :D
BONDUE WELFARE DRIVE. TY helped me queue at 11.30 and i rushed there right after my BGS hahaha. DAMN SHIOK OMG.
I already did this on sushiisashimi but for the sake of it i'm gonna list everything out again HAHAHA. SO WE HAD: Fried rice + mantou + chili crab sauce + chir chir chicken + churros + gelato ice-cream + thai iced milk tea!!! SHIOK.
Saturday: Meeting Joy and Ken + 3-9pm VUCA meeting + Raymond's bday celebration!! THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS GOING ON. It was a really busy day but i still really enjoyed myself!! :)
THAI ICED MILK TEA AGAIN HEHE. We met at Holland V and ate at Nakhon Kitchen!! There's forever a damn long queue there so yay thankfully it wasn't crowded. Finally got to try it after hearing about how good it is and it didn't disappoint yay.

YUMZZZZ. IT WAS SO GOOD. The tom yum looks bland but is was so spicy OMG. I died but it tasted great hehe. Yay got to catch up on life again it's always fun to hang out with them!!
GLAM FRIENDS. I was supposed to rush off for my meeting but we figured that my group members would be late so ya i just took my time LOL. And we went to Sunday Folks for dessert hehehe.

That's about it then we parted!! It was nice seeing them :) Then i went to school for my meeting and Andy went straight to Nicky's house to get ready for Raymond's bday surprise!! That was the day he came back from Malaysia haha. His bday was just the day before LOL so yeap we figured he expected some sort of surprise haha.
The meeting went pretty well!! So proud of our slides hahaha really put in effort to making them look good yay and it paid off :) Honestly love working with my VUCA group! Hopefully my project groups next sem will be as cooperative and open to ideas as they were haha. We ended up finishing on time!! YAY so i got to go to Nicky's house at 8ish haha.

So i went to Nicky's house by bus and Andy went down to pick me up haha. YAY i was so happy to see everyone!! :)
Erm hardly took pics haha but yeah basically we just played board games and it was so fun!! Started off with one night ultimate werewolf and we added SO MANY CHARACTERS. DAMN FUN HAHA. I shan't explain the game cause i explained it before + i'm lazy but ya so glad that we played it haha. One round Andy and I were both the werewolves and i screwed up so we died :( HAHAHA oops.

Afterwards we played the winking murderer game!! Some of us thought it would be quite lame and all but it turned out to be really fun!! :D Haha it's damn stressful trying to find out who the murderer is :P THEN WE PLAYED COUP. Only 6 people could play though haha. At this point it was like 12+am alr and Andy was damn tired so he just took the blanket went to sleep on the sofa HAHAHA.

So at 1+ Ws sent St, Ky, Andy and I home!! THANKS WS. So nice that he sent all of us home at that hour haha. I was prepared to cab alr :P YAY SO THAT CONCLUDES THE DAY :) I was exhausted but happy!!
Sunday: Lunch + BGS meeting + Escape room + Taylor Swift concert!! AS YOU CAN SEE, IT WAS ANOTHER REALLY PACKED DAY. But so blessed because God gave me energy to last through the day and still have (a lot of ) fun hehehe. Wow i love blogging because i didn't realise how packed the day was till i typed everything out haha. And how i should be thankful for the fact that i really tanked through everything!!
Hehe so the day started with my going to Andy's house for awhile! Then we made our way to Plaza Sing tgt to meet Raymond, Wh and Shinta for lunch! Had lunch at Hot Tomato!! Then i rushed to school for BGS meeting hehe. It was short but rather productive :) We just quickly went through our scripts and changed what we had to! Then i went to Peace Centre to find them cause we were gonna play ESCAPE ROOM!! NICKY JOINED THEM BY THEN :)
Tried this prison escape room and their split us up into pairs. So there were 3 pairs and each pair was locked into a cell. We had to help one another escape our individual cells then the last part required us to escape the entire prison!! IT WAS EXCITING HEHE. Andy and I were in one cell and we were quite lost actually hahaha. I think Wh and Nicky were the MVPs this time haha. Raymond and St got a difficult room so ya they were stuck for quite long :( Ended up having to call for help haha and in the end we figured out how to get out! We actually exceeded the time limit but the person was nice enough to give us 5 extra mins to solve the last part :) YAYY IT WAS FUN.

Had dinner at MOS burger! Then St wanted to go home and rest and i had to go for the Taylor Swift concert haha. So the guys went to LAN :P Ws joined us just as i left haha.

Final VUCA Presentation
So proud of us for making it this far :) I was really nervous and all but i think we did really great overall!! But i kinda i feel likeprof didn't like our recommendation and wasn't fully convinced by what we said :( So ya Q&A was pretty bad but hopefully we'll get at least an A- or smth haha.
YAYY :) Ijr idk where the photo we took with Prof is haha. Oh well :P FIRST PRESENTATION OF THE WEEK DOWN. Oh btw this week is hell week haha. 3 presentations + PWR final assignment due!! It's been quite crazy but i'm still okay haha.
Deepavali
Wasn't that much of a holiday cause i still had to go back to school for project meetings haha. Had BGS meeting from 10-12pm! Then i got really tired and didn't feel like staying in school so i went home to chill haha. Then what really turned my day around was meeting Raymond and the rest!! :) It was my first time meeting them without Andy! Hehe met Raymond, St, Ws and Pristine for dinner :D YAY GLAD RAYMOND INVITED PRISTINE. It's been forever since i met her haha. The first thing everyone asked her was "how's school" hahaha.
Had dinner at Little Diner! THE FOOD WAS SOOO GOOD. FIRST OF ALL, IT SMELLED AND LOOKED GREAT. So ya the best part was that it tasted great haha.
Truffle mac and cheese!! SERIOUSLY GOOD. It actually wasn't too heavy haha. I was prepared to get really sick of it after awhile but i didn't hehe.
Raymond's spicy prawn aglio olio!!
WS's American Buttermilk Chicken which was DAMN GOOD. It was like v flavourful haha. I shamelessly asked him for a second piece LOL. Oh and i asked him to help me take a look at my PWR assignment too cause i was really stressed out about it. It takes up 35% of my grade :O So yes so grateful that he was willing to help haha.
Pristine's fish & chips!! I was convinced that fish & chips was a boring choice eh but it was actually really good too haha. And there was Shinta's oven roasted chicken!! Omg i forgot to include a pic of it. But ya it was delicious too. SO CONCLUSION: ALL THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING. Haha can't wait to go back!! (i will go once i start feeling less guilty for spending so much)

Really enjoyed our conversations hehe like even without Andy it was still a lot of fun!! Not saying that Andy doesn't contribute to the fun or whatever hahaha LOL. I still really wished he was there!! But ya my point is that i'm just happy that i get along with all his friends haha. THEY ARE ALL MY FRIENDS NOW :))

Wednesday: Dragged myself to school for the very last PWR lesson haha. Surprisingly i got full marks for grammar quiz?! Too bad it's only like 4% LOL. But yeap i stayed in school for awhile then afterwards i met Andy for dinner!! :) He booked out early yay :D So we met at like 4.45pm HAHAHA.

I was damn tired during the meeting and i honestly did not feel prepared but i think we all tried our best haha. I played a talk show host!! It was a talk show style presentation HAHA. We had to do smth to try and stand out cause all the other groups were really creative and engaging!! And we were the v last group to present haha.
Thursday: BGS PRESENTATION DAY. Second presentation down!!
This group that was right before us presented on "Church as a business". It was such an interesting topic omg and they made it damn engaging and funny!! But yeah it's so sad to see churches being run like businesses :( It is really true that power corrupts hmmm....my prof said that's always the case haha but ya i'm hoping that there are exceptions!! :)
Our presentation went pretty well!! Prof liked that it was short and sweet hahaha. I was so nervous at the start LOL i think the whole class could tell haha. I'm the talk show host so i had to say "Good morning ladies and gentleman" that kinda stuff :P

YAY GROUP PIC. If you're wondering why some of us look so formal and some of us don't it's cause of the diff roles we played HAHA. Left to right: Ah beng from Sg, farmer from papua new guinea, food waste expert, host, businessman from Australia!! We got our results almost immediately haha and we got A YAYYY. But he's v generous with marks lah so quite a few groups got 80+ haha. But ya so relieved that we're one of them!! I thought we would really look bad compared to the other groups lol. So yeap thank God hehe.

Most of the time he was just gaming/doing random stuff while i was doing work haha. But somehow i still really enjoyed the time we spent tgt!! (v cheesy i'm sorry) If this is how it's gonna be like in the future when we're married idm sia haha. It was so chill and even though i got panicky once in awhile cause of PWR like i was comforted by the fact that he was just there haha.
Then i followed him down for his haircut!!

So now Andy's back in camp! I spent almost the whole of today working on my PWR assignment haha. Really must thank Ws for helping me look through it omg. Idk what he reads sia his English is damn high level. Hahaha. Yeah hope i do alright!! :) Hehe that's about all i guess :D WAH I SPENT FOREVER ON THIS. Ugh this is why it's important to update regularly. But yeah no time also lah :( Finals coming soon so idk if i'll have time to blog again :( BUT OF COURSE I WILL TRY TO!! Hehe cya soon then! :)
