Anything could happen

Hey guys! Gonna do a brief update on what i did yesterday and today :) 

Was at home idling in the afternoon, In the evening we went to my mom's friend's house (her JC friend) for a Christmas dinner, and some of her other friends from JC were there. So yeah she's been friends with them ever since JC and they all brought their children along! We went to Uncle Eugene's house which is freaking huge! He gave us like a tour around his house haha. These 3 boys are Uncle Eugene's children hahaha they're damn cute! They seriously remind me of Alvin and the chipmunks :P

Averie and I, Aunty Suzie's second daughter. Lol photo-bombed by my brother haha. I was like the oldest among all the children it felt so weird! But i still played like Uno with them haha, we played hide-and-seek too which was superb fun cause the house is huge!! Felt kinda like a birthday party cause there were so many little children running around haha, yeah i felt kinda out of place but that's okay! Btw, the dinner was great! :) 

All the presents we received from the aunties and uncles!! :) Haha YAY MORE CHRISTMAS GIFTS :) I received like a jewelry box, headphones and a bag! Think i was most satisfied with my presents haha.

Kay today we went to Crystal Jade at Holland V for lunch!! Woohoo my craving for Chinese food fully satisfied :) Lol while taking this photo i was like telling my siblings "LOOK UNITED" hahaha. They went for church and my mom and I went to Ion! BOUGHT A PAIR OF SHORTS YESS. Got food for them and at about 5pm we went back to Leedon to pick them up. That's about it then! Haven't been doing much these past two days. Wanted to ask Pearl and Sotong if they were free to meet up for dinner or smth but they both had their own activities, oh well.

Can you believe that tmr's gonna be New Year's Eve? I am in so much shock, 2012 simply flew by (an overused statement but that's because it's so true). My mom is far too lazy to drive us to MBS to watch the fireworks haha, so i'm not sure how i'll be celebrating New Year's Eve. BUT, i'm gonna watch Les Mis with Grace tmr! :) Quite excited to watch it because i've been hearing so many good comments about the movie! Oh I MIGHT go for a countdown party at MBS with Pearl and Sotong but we're not so sure yet so yeah, hope i find SOMETHING to do haha. Btw GREAT NEWS, my mom's sending my phone for repair tmr (at least i think she is)! Also, my computer is gonna be repaired on Wednesday, i hope that they don't have to rebut everything cause all my photos would be gone :( And i'd have to download stuff like Audi all over again (it's a crazy process)! Haha kay gonna go now then, byee :)

Pictures from Italy: Day 1 in Milan

HI THEREE. It's 12 haha i love late night blogging! So i'm finally gonna upload more photos from the trip! :) Aww man looking through these photos made me miss Italy a lot :( I always feel a lot more carefree when i'm overseas and i never realise how thankful i should've been to be there until i come home. Let's face it Singapore is kinda boring. Alright so here are some of the photos we took in Milan! :) I didn't upload a lot of them cause there's just too many haha and they aren't THAT NICE (not the best photographer in the world hehe). These were all taken using my camera! There are a lot more photos which are in my aunty's camera as well as my mom's phones (yeah she has a samsung galaxy and an iphone 4 omg). I'll add more photos to this post once i get hold of them! :)

Yeah that wasn't all. Haha told you the servings in Italy are huge, yes this looks and tastes good but i didn't managed to finish it cause i was too full :/


Really thick and rich desert which took me forever to finish but it tasted so good. I've never tried anything like it!

Shopped a little at Pull&Bear and other random shops. Then we stopped here to have dinner! We were rushing cause we didn't have a lot of time left before we had to gather back. The hot chocolate was SUPER THICK, eww it's like they literally took chocolate, heated it up and placed it into this cup. No but it couldn't be cause it was also really tasteless! We came to a conclusion that the bread and hot chocolate in Italy sucks haha.



Met back with the group and headed to the hotel room!!

Everything looked so up-to-date and there were two separate rooms which were meant for only 3 people! VERY COOL. Too bad we only stayed here for one night!

So that's pretty much it :) So glad that i got to post some photos today! Next i'll be posting the photos from Venice yeap. Wow i really miss being overseas now, too bad we can't turn back time :( Ugh now feels like one of those days when you just hate everyone. I'm sure most people know how that feels. As usual i'll just do random stuff to prevent myself from over-thinking, maybe i'll go grab some food haha.  BYE THEN! :)

About time

HI THERE. So yesterday i got to meet up with my primary school friends and we watched Wrech-it Ralph! :)  Thee movie was at 12.40pm so we arranged to meet at 12pm. Okay no prizes for guessing who arrived last lol. Pearl was a lot later than all of us hahaha. And for once i thought that i wouldn't be the first to arrive but nahh i still was, idk why really! Next came Hoi Ting. Yuan Ru, Sotong and Kar Gin arrived at the same time hahah. So yeap, got the tickets, bought some food and then we went on into the cinema. Pearl, Sotong, Yuan Ru and I stupidly bought drinks for ourselves when Kar Gin and Hoi Ting alr redeemed free drinks for us! Shared popcorn and an iced tea with Pearl, because of the other two drinks we weren't close to finishing any of it! Oh btw, Anneka couldn't make it cause she said that she got up feeling super 'crappy', that didn't serve as a surprise to me lol.  

This movie really surprised me! IT'S SO GOOD! I like the originality in it and the fact that the bad guy gets to play the hero for once. I felt quite emotional at some parts haha i even teared up a little. Anyway Vanelope is so cute!! She was annoying at first but after awhile like nooo she's so lovable! :) HAHA GLAD I GOT TO WATCH THIS FILM :) 

Right after the movie! This was when i realised that i haven't used my camera haha

I took us awhile to decide where to go for lunch. We were thinking of eating at some Jap restaurant in Mandarin Gallery but apparently it's really ex and Kar Gin had to leave at about 4pm so we settled for Pastamania!

Being the brave girl that i am i decided to order Aglio Olio for the third time, once again stressing to the person at the counter that i CANNOT TAKE CHILI. And yay it wasn't spicy at all! :) Hahah here's Sotong and Yuan Ru looking a little stunned at the size of their pizza, they shared it!

Sotong and I playing chopsticks to decide who would have to eat the last slice of pizza. Yeah Sotong kept telling us that we have to think about the starving kids in Africa omg. IT WAS A TOUGH MATCH BUT I EMERGED VICTORIOUS!! :) The game lasted for quite long! Hahaha we were all watching her eat.

At this point we were left with nothing else to do, just didn't know where to go next haha. Ugh kept getting stuck in the same scenario of us standing in some circle, everyone waiting for anyone to throw in a suggestion. We walked a little further up and Kar Gin had to leave! Okay so we said bye and i suggested going to H&M to take a look, yeap so that's what we did. Pearl told me that my Christmas present is from H&M haha. Got out of there and then i met Min Li cause she wanted to get back her comb! Kay then we stood outside H&M for a couple of minutes, not knowing what to do but we kept ourselves occupied by talking about random stuff haha. Omg Pearl and Sotong freaking pranked me, Watami's a Japanese restaurant but they told me that it's some sort of green veggie. Then Pearl sent me a photo of some dish called (smth similar to Watami) and she said that Watami's the nickname for it. I FOOLISHLY BELIEVED HER. Oh gosh and i still thought that we were gonna try Watami that day WTH. Such liars can't believe i fell for it! Kay next we walked around in hope of finding someplace where we could sit down and have a drink or smth.

Ended up in Cold Stone and we got some ice-cream to share! Eating the ice-cream soon became more of a torture than an enjoyment cause we were just too full. Lol kay so Pearl wanted to cut her hair and we headed to Far East next! Hoi Ting left here cause if she goes to Far East she'd have to walk home cause it's so near her house, so she called her sister to pick her up!


Stopped to take photos at another Christmas tree hehe they haven't taken all the Christmas trees down yay. Still feeling the Christmas spirit although Christmas is over :)


Kay while walking to Far East Yuan Ru decided to head home cause she was feeling tired, Sotong wanted to leave too haha but we forbade her and so she was forced to stay. Found a random hair salon for Pearl to go cut her hair, then Sotong and I were just walking around and looking at stuff. Because Sotong doesn't shop it felt so weird to go into a shop and look at clothes while we was just waiting outside LOL. Oh i got Grace a Christmas present there, can't wait to give it to her! :) Bought a drink cause i was feeling kinda thirsty! Sotong tried teaching me how to poke the straw into the cup without spilling the drink but i failed miserably :P It was so lame hahah.

 Yeap and finally Pearl was done so next we went to my house for dinner!! :) Her hair was A LOT shorter haha, she looked really fresh! As usual we played taidi and bridge, haha it's a must to play cards every time we go to someone's house! We also played cheat (like one game of it) and we laughed like mad cause of my brother!! He kept putting down "4 9s" but he kept cheating each time and it was like so damn obvious! The game was like never ending cause he kept cheating and i kept catching people for cheating but i turned out to be wrong lol. So the game ended with me still having a whole stack of cards in my hand :P


Taidi, WOOHOO 3 2s! I obviously won this round :) Pearl knew that my cards were good once she saw me take a photo of them haha.

Yeah so we didn't managed to finish our game of cheat, Pearl's dad arrived early to pick them up haha. That's about it then! :) Passed both Pearl and Sotong their Christmas presents :) I gave Pearl two pairs earrings wth she instantly guessed that they were earrings once i told her that her present is 'tiny'. Lol i shouldn't have said anything. I got Sotong a Captain America shirt haha she better wear it!


Christmas gift from Pearl!! It's a really bright and flowery dress, i'm surprised that it fits so well at first i was worried about me looking fat in it lol. Haha my mom said i can wear it for CNY!

Hmm ended up talking to Pearl and Sotong for hours right before going to sleep. Yeah that explains why the previous post is so short and i spent forever on it haha. Anyway i hope that everyone received my Christmas card! Nic and Grace received theirs alr but i'm not sure about everyone else. Slightly disappointed that no one really said thanks for the card or anything, i mean it's like i put in effort to write the card and mail it so i think i deserve a thank you at the very least. Idk whatever, not super desperate for it or anything, maybe most people just haven't received it yet! 

Okay it's really hard to believe that 2012 is coming to an end. There is so much that i'm gonna miss about this year and i feel excited yet reluctant to move on to JC. But whatever, i can't resist change. And why does this holiday feel so short?? :( Very soon we'll be collecting our 'O' Level results, i feel confident but i fear that this is just a false sense of confidence, that i'm actually not as good as i think i am. Just gonna prepare myself for the worst, yeap! Annoying i'm feeling so emotional lately, will try to not think too much :) Okay gonna go now, not doing anything today, just lazing around at home i guess. Oh crap ijr that i haven't posted the photos from my trip to Italy & Paris yet, haha maybe i'll work on that. Cya then! :)
