HI EVERYONE. Haha omg it's really been AGES since i blogged!! Hehe gonna quickly blog about Nic, Pearl and Chow's 21st!! THERE'S SO MUCH MORE but nvm clear some at at time :P HAHAHA have yet to blog about my own bday but can wait lah. Internship has been v time-consuming even though it's not THAT busy. But 9-6pm is like....DAMN LONG. I m adjusting q well though :D (i typed this part in June LOL)

Nic's birthday party
HAD LUNCH W ANDY FIRST :D Then i think i studied for a bit before going over to Nic's house haha. We had Genki sushi at Bugis+ because i like the train :D

Yay then went over to Nic's house to help w the decor!! She held it at the function room at her house!
Much effort but it turned out so pretty!!!
Haha slowly all her friends arrived and they just started eating and chatting. It was nice to be w some of them St Margs girls! Haven't seen them in forever :O Sher couldn't make it though :(

SUPER SPONTANEOUS "ISN'T SHE LOVELY" PERFORMANCE. Ugh we used to sing this all the time!! HAHA it was q scary but fun (although i sang so softly i could barely be heard) :P
She played games! Basically she just split everyone into groups then asked questions about herself haha. I didn't even know the answers to some of the questions :P LOLOL BUT IT WAS INTERESTING.
Hehe after games it was time for cake-cutting!! She prepared a speech hahaha. Like she thanked every group who came! Ps i don't have pics cause idk why i can't access the original dropbox so i only have photos from when i first downloaded in March! Hehe so yeap that was about all!! IT WENT SO WELL.

So we slowly helped her pack and stuff!! Then went up to her house for awhile before leaving. Planning 21st parties are a huge hassle omg so i'm glad everything went smoothly and that it was fun!! :)
Last few lessons of the sem
The sem ended pretty well! Project period was q shag but at least the finals period was alright? Not having any projects for OM really lightened my workload!! Super thankful for a good OM prof. Also, APB turned out well cause we got Haruki to tank us. He's this guy who is super zai in everything and he really carried both our projects hahaha we got A and A+ LOL. APB is one of the hardest mods i ever took in SMU so i'm really super duper blessed to have found a great group. Hehe really thank God :) There's also finance which was v slack lah and i didn't put in that much effort so i guess i deserve an overall B+ LOL. Haha my friends def made Finance lessons less dreadful!
I didn't really take pics w my other project groups haha but here's one with my CB group! :) Honestly the start was quite tough but i think we really pulled through and it's fun working w them cause they're all v nice people!! :) We got a great prof too :D

That same day i met Sotong!! WE MADE PEARL'S PRESENT :D We also got her smth else but we chipped in w her other friends so we wanted to do smth that was just from us hehe. Andy suggested the exploding box haha so we just went for it!!

HAHAHA we had to buy a little figurine to place in the middle so that's what i chose LOLOL SO CHEESY. BUT CUTE RIGHT HEHE. Haha it took us two evenings to finish it but wew it was worth it!! :) Really like the end result and i'm sure Pearl liked it too :D
Pearl's birthday party
THE V FIRST TIME A BDAY GIRL IS LATE TO HER OWN PARTY. HAHAHA she held it at Hard Rock Cafe at RWS and when i was at vivo city Pearl was like "i'm still in the car" LOLOL. DAMN FUNNY. But okay lah she didn't have a lot of decor so she settled it pretty quickly!! :)
This set-up looks exactly like what she drew when she first came the recce the place hahaha.
GORG BDAY CAKE (the rose fell but it put it back up later hahaha). She got it from zeexelle!! I LOVE THEIR CAKES but everyone is getting theirs from them now :P
Hehe so all her friends came and i mingled w them a bit cause Sotong wasn't there yet! And it was nice seeing her family!! Her grandma so sweet she came over just to say hi to Sotong and I haha.
Well since everything is paid for we could just order whatever we wanted :O Noah order some super expensive steak hahaha. I GOT PORK RIBS. THEY WERE SO GOOD HEHE. I was mainly just talking to Alicia and gang cause idk her other friends but it was okay lah haha.
There was a live band!! THEY WERE SO GOOD. They got her to go on stage haha she was damn awkward LOL super funny.
Also there was this group of girls who were DAMN NOISY!! Idk what they were doing like at first they were just enthu then after that it got weird and borderline obsessive cause they went up to the front of the stage and started dancing. Then one of them even went up and started singing :P HAHA OH WELLZ.

Haha she played pictionary which was q fun but difficult to execute cause the live band was really noisy!! NONETHELESS, I had a great time and we stayed till 11+/12?? Took grab home eventually! YEAP THAT'S ALL :) Super heartwarming seeing your best friend for 13 years turn 21 hehe.

GRACE RAN 21KM :O Haha so after that she came to Empress Market to have some food and she checked if i was home!! YAY i was so i quickly went down to meet her for awhile :) HEHE IT WAS NICE. So proud of her for completing 21 km?! I don't think i will ever do that hahaha.
Chow's birthday celebration
So this day i finally met my JC friends again and we celebrated Chow's (belated) bday :D Before that i went to Dempsey to recce my bday venue!! It looked beautiful from the photos my mom sent hehe so i couldn't wait to see it for myself :D

It was chill but fun and then we went to drink at this jap restaurant that had some offer hahaha. I drank one bottle and DIED because i drank way too fast?! Jon couldn't drink so i had to drink for him LOL. AND I KEPT KENA-ING. DAMN SAD. Otw home my vision was blurry :( The grab driver dropped me off at my house but as i was walking back i like couldn't walk anymore so i just sat down by the pool?! And i texted my mom to say i can't walk hahaha then she came down to get me :P TOO WEAK :( But ALL IS WELL. I really hope my tolerance goes up zzz.
Drama Play
So we went back to watch our annual drama production!! Haha this time Andy could make it :D Last year he had army :( I wasn't really looking forward to seeing mr CK again LOL and true enough when i saw him he was like hugging everyone and enthusiastically saying hi then when he saw me he gave some smirk and was like "oh i can't hug you if not someone will be unhappy'??! LOLOL IT'S ALRIGHT. Buttt i was super happy to see Ms Soh!! She's as sweet as ever and she's a mom now AWWW so happy for her :))
Hehe we bumped into Weiwei and a few others at City Hall then we made our way to the theatre tgt!!
Haha obviously idk of the actors/crew members but it was pretty fun watching it :D And i thought it was pretty good!! Ugh this theatre really brings back super old memories.

Hehe so we decided to meet Remode for brunch and bowling before we got busier w work and all!! It was the day right before my internship started if i'm not wrong! SO YEAP :) WE ATE AT LOLA'S WEW. My favourite cafe :))

Hehe so we went to the bowling place but it was really crowded so we decided to play darts first!! Really love darts i'm not great at it but at least i don't completely suck!! HAHAHA. I'm damn cui at bowling and pool soooo i guess i don't love them but idm playing cause they're still q fun :D Haha Andy and i were just competing to see who wouldn't be last!! Then the other couple just keep fighting to be first. DAMN FUNNY HAHA. Andy is so weird it's like he either gets nth or he gets a strike there's like hardly an in between?! What a weirdo. He can hit zero pins like thrice in a row then suddenly strike twice in a row or smth LOLOL.
Haha after that we were q drained and dazed IDK WHY :P HAHAHA. So we head home!! :) But it was a pretty fun day :D
KITE-FLYING DAY
Hehe so Remode initiated another meet-up and we went kite-flying at marina barrage!! WEW SO FUN. Haha i was quite excited but then i was sad cause our kite took ages to fly?! LOLOL. Anyway so we met at one north MRT if i'm not wrong? Everyone except Charmian and Toly (Charly) then Remus drove us to the old airport road food centre to grab some food for our little picnic!! :D
YAY lay out our mats and started eating!! It was so dark by then hahaha then said it's fun to fly kite and have a picnic at night and yeah it was a pretty cool experience! NO SUN that was the best part :D BUT we kept seeing lighting?! HAHAHA wts damn scary sia. We couldn't decide whether or not to leave cause it seemed like it was gonna start pouring any moment :P But Remus checked the forecast then they said "scattered thunderstorms" or smth? SOOO we just tried our luck and stayed put and thank God it didn't rain!!
Remode helped each couple buy a kite!! :) Then we hung light sticks on them so they could be seen :D HAHA SOOO, OUR KITE TOOK AGES TO FLY. SO SAD. But Remus and Ode v zai so their kite took off the earliest while Mthj and us just kept struggling haha. Partly cause there was still air for the longest time :( NEED TO CATCH THE WIND. Then Charly came but their kite couldn't fly also haha sighh.
Eventually we gave up and went to the toilet or smth?? Then when we came back all the kites were in the air?? HAHAHA. Suddenly got wind then all managed to fly!! YAYY. But we didn't fly them ourselves lah :( But at least they got up in the end :D
Didn't take much photos cause it was just so dark haha but it was a pretty good experience!! We were quite tired after that cause it was so late LOL but we all got home safe :)
GOOD FOOD
HAHAHA idk why to title this oh gosh. For the longest time we kept talking about trying some steak place that we saw on eatbook HAHA and we finally tried it so that we could stop talking about it on the group chat LOL. SO YAY. I started interning alr so i was like in my 'work attire' which got v v lazy throughout the 3 months here HAHA i hate how i dress to work it's like q kiddy but whatever lah :P As long as i'm comfortable :D
Met them at the mrt station (i can't rmb where, somewhere along the green line) and made our way to the steak place!! It's jap steak wew. The queue was pretty long but we queued anyway and got to catch up a bit and stuff hehe.

Our steak!! It was super tender?! A little too tender for Ws's liking i think cause it was borderline crumbly but i still really liked it haha. We got to choose our sauce and i just went w the one i thought would be tasty and it was not bad :D There was rice too omg can u imagine how full we were?!

INTERNSHIP IS OVER YAYY. Omg I can't believe i didn't blog at all the past 3 months?! THAT'S SO SAD :( I have sooo much to catch up on haha. Haha dang it once i start work i'm not gonna blog at all?! AH WELLZ. Anyway internship is over and it was pretty alright but my boss is zzz and i don't think i wanna go back haha. Like i honestly didn't learn that much but my biggest takeaway is prob Dayna!! Haha she's this other intern that i grew quite close to over the last 2 months! Super thankful for her haha she made working at Pico a lot more enjoyable! Of course there were the other SMU interns but we were always apart so we didn't get to hang out much.
School is starting soon and idk when i can blog again LOL but next sem will be pretty slack for me!! Sooo gonna focus on other stuff like maybe driving? Haha and i wanna do well lah since i'm only taking 3 mods + BSM mod, might as well make it count!! :) YEAP. Lately i've been going back to church which is honestly the best decision i made all year :') I haven't been going every week because things keep cropping up but it's a start and things might feel a little weird/diff cause i stopped going for so long but i'm gonna embrace it and keep going :D Hehe must thank Grace for bringing me back!!
Anyway that's all for nowww. I'd love to blog about my 21st next haha i'll try to make time for that! Cya then :)
