Posting results!

I'm feeling very excited and nervous at the same time! Got posted to SA which was more or less expected, so i wasn't jumping for joy or anything but more of contented/satisfied, nothing more than that. That's good in a sense :) After awhile i started to feel extremely confused because my mom suggested appealing to ACJC. We initially agreed that if i got posted to SA i wouldn't appeal, but she thought it would be better if i just gave it a try. I agreed with that, it's better to have more options and AC is a better school after all, although i'm not so sure if i'll like AC's culture. But whatever so i got ready my documents/certs and headed to AC to appeal! The process was MUCH quicker than i had expected. I felt super stressed and rather down before i appealed, idk why though. I think it's cause my close friends and i are all going to diff schools :( Grace got posted to Ngee Ann, which made me feel really disappointed :/ It would be great if we could go to SA together! Oh well, she's okay with it so i shouldn't force to appeal to SA if she doesn't want to. I thought Rachella and Divya would get posted to SA too but they didn't. Another reason to feel down. Hmm after awhile i just asked myself like, is going to the same sch as your friends really that important? It isn't really, because we'll all make new friends and will settle down eventually in whichever school we go to. And going to diff schools doesn't mean it's the end of our friendship! NOT AT ALL.

So yeah i really dk why i was feeling slightly depressed at the start of the day. I actually cried, didn't even know why i was crying oh gosh. I need to stop crying so damn easily! Btw, i received the message at 6am instead of 8 haha. I woke up at 8.30am cause we were gonna go to East Coast Park but i didn't go in the end and went to ACJC to appeal instead. I was there at about 12pm and there were alr 200 appeal cases! Insane. So as i mentioned earlier, the appeal process was rather quick and so i was done at about 12 plus. Decided to meet them at ECP anyway for lunch :) I'll blog about it in a later post haha. So the thing is i'm quite excited to go to SA now! :) Just found out from my OG leader all the things we need to prepare for tmr. I'm in OG 15!! School ends at 6pm tmr ohmygosh. Hope i'll meet some nice people and be a lot more familiar with the school :) It's simple actually, i shouldn't worry too much cause all i need to do is to trust God! Alright, hope i can sleep earlier tonight haha. Sad that i can't play Viwawa and chat on the phone with Pearl and Sotong till like 3 or 4am anymore :( Gonna miss that! I'll most probably blog about dinner at Watami and ECP on Saturday. Bye then! :)

Karaoke + Hansel and Gretel

Hi there! It's REALLY late so i'll just be 'speed-typing' now haha. Gonna talk about what we did on Monday! Had a lot of fun with Grace, Nic, Rachella and Divya :) It was cool to go for karaoke with friends instead of family for a change! And i really enjoyed watching Hansel and Gretel :)

So Nic, Grace and I met at Cine to grab the tickets first. Grace decided not to watch it cause she feared it would be too scary/gory. Understandable i guess! I was the earliest lol cause Nic had to meet some blogshop owner and that person was late, so naturally she arrived later. And yeah Grace just came later than i did so i went to take a look at some of the shops in Cine. Was eyeing a blue top for quite some time, so i finally tried it on and ended up getting it! I'm becoming more and more of a spendthrift :( Well but once school starts i won't have much time to shop so why not haha.

Nic finally came and we walked over to Ion for lunch! Oh btw, Divya was with her friends and Rachella was working so it was just the 3 of us at first.

After lunch we walked around a bit and when it was nearing 3pm we headed to Coffee Bean to find Rachella! That's the time she ends work haha.

Some berry drink we got for free! I can't remember how Rachella got them haha but yeah she gave it to us. It was practically tasteless at first, then we added sugar syrup to it and then it was MUCH BETTER. Can't imagine drinking the entire thing without adding any sugar, people actually do that!

So after meeting Rachella we all walked to Scape and got to kbox! Entered the room first cause Divya said she would be late. It was way more expensive than we thought it would be :( Didn't know that for every person they charge an additional 4 bucks, they've probably earned A LOT by doing that. Never knew haha, although my family goes there quite often!

SELECTING THE SONGS. Actually sang two Chinese songs hahaha, those are two of the few which i know :P Used to listen to Chinese songs but don't anymore hmm.

Grace didn't sing cause she doesn't sing, oh well but i think she enjoyed herself too :) Practically shoved the mic in her face when Sparks Fly came on (cause she said she knows that song) lol but she still didn't sing cause she doesn't know it that well :P IT'S OKAY GRACE HAHA.

Divya. She better get into SA through choir man she can sing damn high!

THE BILL OHMYGOSH. They have COMPULSORY snacks which cost $7! So what choice did we have :(

PAYPHONE. I'm so glad that i got to sing M2M with Rachella cause i used to listen to their songs all day when i was like 6 or 7!

CALL ME MAYBE. Decided to make the most out of the experience and so on the last few songs we got up and started dancing while we sang haha.

CRAZY PEOPLE. THIS PART WAS ESPECIALLY FUN!!

WANEGBT. At this point my voice sounded terrible cause i kept straining it! Didn't care lah our voices were all 'tired out' but we just kept singing/shouting haha

Ended at 6.15pm cause the movie was at 6.40pm and we still had to grab some food first (supposed dinner) before entering the cinema! So yeap, quickly ended off by snapping a photo of ourselves.

We asked the staff to help take a photo but we thought they were too slow which was why we decided to take it ourselves. Then the person came so we were like OKAY HELP US TAKE THEN :)  HAD A FANTASTIC TIME WITH THESE PEEPS

Grace left cause she wasn't watching the movie, Divya went to find her friends again haha and so Rachella, Nic and I went to buy food! Then we quickly went into the cinema and Divya came shortly after. 

AFTER THE MOVIE. I liked it! Although yes it was quite gory and violent but at the same time v exciting! I found the story line rather typical but hey that's how fairytales are like and people still love them! I'd rather a predictable+happy ending than a depressing one. Anyway i could totally see why it was NC16 lol. My third NC16 movie and yet it was the first time that the person actually asked me for my IC. Looked kiddy that day maybe :P

Okay done so we went home right after the movie! I shall blog about today in a later post. Anyway, the fact that we're getting our posting results in a couple of hours really scares me. I hope i end up in SA, at the very least! Though wherever i end up i know it'll be a part God's plan for me, and thus i'll accept it! Gonna play taidi now with my fellow friends (i mean the retards) and then i'll go to bed! IT'LL ONLY BE FOR AWHILE, I PROMISE. Got to get up early tmr haha, kay bye then :)

Adventure Cove + Jersey Boys!

Hi there gonna blog about Saturday and last evening now! Sorry i can only include these few photos (from my mom's phone) from Saturday cause the rest of the photos are in my camera and i can't transfer them to the computer atm :/ I'll figure out a way! :) 

(26th January 2013)

So we went to ADVENTURE COVE. It's like 2x better than Wild Wild Wet! It was my first time going so yeah i felt particularly excited! Dan invited two of his friends along but unfortunately Sylvie's friends couldn't make it :( Although it was supposed to be her belated birthday celebration. Oh well, she still had fun! :) Ahh how i wish i asked Pearl and Sotong along, would've been more fun for me :P My brother's friend (Timothy) is more annoying than he is. That is quite shocking and hard to believe :P Anyway my brother's other friend (Kai Jie) is autistic but he's more of an extrovert than an introvert! Quite funny how whenever he asks a question, if you don't reply immediately he'll keep repeating it!! There's just no end to it if you remain silent lol. Oh and he fell omg! His knee got bruised and it was rather heartwarming to see my brother and Timothy being all concerned for him :) 

So we got there and my mom brought us in first cause we had to register for our annual passes. It isn't THAT ex and will be very worth it if we go a few more times this year :) First attraction we went to was Bluwater Bay, it's that wave pool thing yeah i think you know what i'm talking about. Hahah it's like the one in WWW's! But the raging river thing (Adventure River) is way cooler than the one in WWW, like you go into some cave and at one point when you look above you can see fishes!  

The three of us all happened to be in blue haha. 

Yeah and the slides there are like the improved ones from those in WWW. A LOT MORE FUN. Haha i should stop comparing but ugh can't help it :P There's also this hydro-magnetic coaster which is imo the best ride in Adventure Cove!! IF YOU HAVEN'T GONE, JUST PLEASE GO SOON. 

Grace works at RWS so i sent her a text to tell her that i was gonna be there!! Haha she said she was working at some cart, took me awhile to find it but yeah i did. IT WAS SO GREAT TO SEE HER :)) She spent most of her time just standing around and feeling bored haha so yeah we had plenty of time to chat! :) Really miss talking to her and laughing cause of random shit :( 

SNORKELING! Kay not the real kind of snorkeling but considered lah. I REALLY LIKED IT. Took me awhile to get used to breathing through the mask lol. Too bad my mask was fogged up but i still found it really fascinating, just unlike anything i've ever done before :) 

That was the last thing we did! Went to shower and stuff after that and we were on our way home :) Was so tired but it was a great day! 

(27th January 2013)
Watched Jersey Boys that evening! Had nothing to do earlier in the day hence i was able to blog about bowling haha. Left the house at about 6.10pm (the show started at 8) and after like 10 mins Mummy realised that she left the tickets at home soo we had to go back and get them. Still had to pick up my grandmother! Had a very rushed and improper dinner cause we were pressed for time :(  Haha Dan was so disappointed that we didn't get to eat at Din Tai Fung. We ate at Toast Box and i actually ate Laska! They ran out of all the dishes we wanted :P Didn't expect myself to be able to take the spiciness, it actually tasted quite good! Lol i've been missing out on this all my life my gosh.

Got here took a few pictures and went in for the show! Popo went back home, she only joined us for dinner.

IT IS SUCH A FANTASTIC MUSICAL. I enjoyed it even though it was kinda annoying to hear them cuss/swear every once in awhile. Haha i was already prepared for that cause Nic told me about it! Their singing was SO AWESOME (undeniably). I was a bit shocked by the audience's reaction lol, they cheered so enthusiastically! I mean they're really good but we just didn't expect that kind of response. Maybe cause we don't know anything about the original band? Barely knew any of the songs. But i really liked it when Frankie Valli sang "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"! Great song and it's evident that everyone else in the audience liked it too! :) 

Okay that's itt. Finally done with this post haha. Going to blog about today in a later post, WE HAD HEAPS OF FUN! :) Hmm hate being behind on blogging but nvm i have ample time to blog tmr since i won't be doing anything then. Yeap bye for now! :)

Bowling on a Friday

Hello yay i'm blogging again. Time to blog about last Friday! It was quite a last minute decision for us to go bowling, Tanny and Sher couldn't make it so okay, it was just Nic, Grace, Min Li and I :) We arranged to meet for lunch before going bowling, and we also wanted to visit Nic's house! Cause no one's really been to her house before haha, the last/first time i went was like 2 years ago! Min Li couldn't join us for lunch so yeah Grace and I met at the school bus stop and took 186 to Shaw Plaza (really near Nic's house). Nic came out and we went somewhere to dabao hor fun for lunch! :) Went up to her house to eat and yay it tasted so good :) Felt so weird for Nic to be the host and Grace and I to be the guests haha. 

Kay then we went back down to the bus stop to meet Min Li and took a bus to the bowling place, which is super near Balestier. When we got there they told us that all the lanes were booked all the way till 10pm! LIKE OMG. Had no choice but to leave :( Decided to bowl at Marina instead! Haha wasn't sure how to get there so we just cabbed and shared the cab fee. Didn't cost a lot :) Thankfully the bowling alley at Marina Square had lanes available! It was so empty when we got there. YEAP SO WE COULD FINALLY BEGIN BOWLING :)

Grace who sucked at first but then slowly got the hang of it! She got a few spares+strikes WOAH.

Min Li was like "I CAN'T BOWLL" then on her first two turns she got a spare and then a strike. Sure we believe that you completely suck at bowling :P

Leaving Marina Square!

Walked a bit cause we didn't know what else to do and then we ended up in Raffles City. For some reason we were getting kinda hungry haha, so we decided to buy some food! Funny how we were all craving for different things. Grace wanted a doughnut, Min Li a burger, Nic was craving fries and i wanted KFC's chicken popcorn! So okay we went to buy the respective foods and then settled at Macs to eat them together. Nic and Min Li initially wanted to head to FEP to try on this dress which they regretted not trying earlier, but it was getting too late so nah we just stayed at where we were. 

Grace bought Percy Pigs from Marks and Spencer and then we were here sitting around and taking photos! There was nothing left for us to do :/

Going to blog about Adventure Cove next, as i promised. Anyway i'm looking forward to going for Karaoke tmr!! Finally, after months/weeks of thinking about it we finally settled on a date to go! :) So yeap we're all really excited! Kay bye for now then. Gonna watch Jersey Boys later with my family!
