HELLOOO. It's finally time for me to blog about the HK trip! :) This is gonna be a pretty long post haha. Mainly cause of the pics! I can't remember what we did exactly tbh lol but i'll try my best to recall hahaha. Hehe so yeap here goes :)
DAY 1
Got up at 6+ cause our flight was at 9+ so we had to be at the airport at around 7 :) Haha Andy was damn early lol so when we were reaching he helped us queue first!
After checking in we came here to grab a bite!! :)

PLANE SELFIESS
The flight was 3h+ long! Andy and I watched Love, Rosie together haha. We wanted to watch it in cinemas when it was airing but didn't have the chance to :/ Omg i kept getting emotional lol the whole movie was damn heartbreaking :O Except for the last part hehehe. And now i really love Lily Colins haha she's super gorgeous!! And really quite a decent actress imo :) Then i watched one episode of Glee haha. Hehe and soon we arrived in HK!! :)
The queue to get out was really long :O Joy and the rest were waiting for us so we felt really bad :( Their flight was at 6am haha. Met them then we cabbed separately to Causeway Bay!!
Napped for awhile during the cab ride haha i was damn tired for some reason
The weather was really cooling!! :) BUT SUNNY. Haha so it felt like i didn't really need my cardigan. So when we got to the hotel i changed into a diff shirt cause i didn't wanna wear the crop top on its own :P

And our room :) It was really spacious!! Andy slept on the sofa bed and my mom and i shared the queen sized bed :)
The plan was to meet the rest at 4.30pm if i rmb correctly! Think they wanted to rest haha so we went out first and came here!! I LOVE THEIR BEVERAGES.

At Times Square!! Not the real Times Square but still Times Square haha. Hehe when they came we took the train to Mongkok!!
I look kinda awkward here haha oops. It felt weird at first cause i didn't really know what to do with both my mom and Andy's friends around like should i just stick with them like what my mom asked me to do or shuffle between both?? IDK HAHA. After awhile i decided to just stop worrying so much :)
First stop: Australian Dairy Company!!
The place isn't v big but it was really crowded haha. The staff there are really efficient though! Although they can come across as rude :/
Had to sit separately haha so the 3 guys sat at a different table! Yay he's what we ordered :) Hmm the macaroni was so-so imo but the scrambled eggs and egg dessert were damn good!!
Hehe then we went to different shopping malls in Mongkok to shop :) DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING LOL. It was so disappointing :( The sneakers street was disappointing too :P Can't rmb if it's called sneakers street or sneakers market haha.
Got to this place and spent the entire time just walking around without buying a thing hahaha oops. Guess we picked the wrong area to shop in :(
Decided to check out Ladies' Market!! NOT MUCH AS WELL. But it was still an interesting experience i guess haha. Won't see these kinda stalls in Sg! Haha halfway we stopped by 7-Eleven and bought quite a lot from there!! Pshh even a convenience store is more interesting than the shopping here :P
At the end of the street! By then they were seriously exhausted so we left!
Decided to jio my mom for a selfie hahaha
Yeap we were only carrying stuff that we bought from 7-Eleven or just food haha.
Parted at the mrt station then Andy, my mom and I went to find food haha. Cause we didn't really have a proper lunch/dinner!! Randomly picked a cafe (by cafe i mean the traditional hk cafe) and ate there haha. Then it was time to go back to the hotel and rest :) It was damn funny cause our toilet has a small bath tub and Andy filled it up and sat inside while reading a book & listening to music hahaha. SO HIGH MAINTENANCE LOL. He stayed there for like half an hour haha. But it's true what he said, that we wouldn't get to do that all the time :P SO THAT'S ALL FOR DAY ONEE :D
DAY 2
Seriously couldn't sleep the night before it was really bad :O Haha idk how i survived the day but somehow i wasn't feeling too tired :) Andy got up at like 6+ LOL and i woke up at 7+! We got changed pretty quickly so my mom told us to go down for breakfast first!! :)
BUFFET YAYY. There was so much to choose from!! I was really happy and excited at this point HAHAHA
YUMZZ. It was so nice that we could have breakfast tgt like this!!
When we were almost done my mom came down hehe so we waited for her for awhile then decided to go find the rest first!! Went up to their apartment to look for them then arranged to meet my mom at Times Square afterwards :) Thanks to Andy we found their apartment!! Hmm i always knew he had a good sense of direction but wow this trip really took things to a whole new level like even in a foreign country he could find his way around?? Haha for all 3 days it was mainly Andy who was helping us get to places!! Yay i'm sure now my mom can trust him to bring me overseas in the future :)

HI JOY. Hehe glad that i gradually got more comfortable with Joy and Nicole!! :) I mean Ken and Gilbert too haha but as i've said i'm usually more comfortable around girls :P

So my mom arrived and then we made our way to Coffee Academics!! Can't rmb which stop it was at haha but it was pretty nearby!

And Andy's matcha cake :D Hehe here was when i checked my e-mail and found out that i got accepted by SMU!! :) I was more of relieved than happy though haha. But overall just thankful :)
Had lunch almost immediately at Joy Hing hahaha. Took us awhile to find the place hehe but eventually we did!! :) Credits to my mom again :D I've definitely inherited her love for taking photos hahaha. Okay maybe not inherited but i've been influenced by her!! :)
Came here cause we heard that there was good char siew!! Hmm it's just so-so imo haha. I mean it was good but i kinda felt like i've tasted better?? Haha oh well it was still a good meal!! :) Left pretty quickly cause it's a small & crowded place as well, meaning that it's not meant for people to stay and chat haha.
Then it was time for OCEAN PARK!! My mom didn't join us haha she went to sell a bag and visit a salon!! SO YEAP. Erm can't rmb how long we took to get to the bus stop but yeah we got there haha. Bought our tickets to Ocean Park and boarded the bus :D Started playing with the hair chalk that Joy bought hahaha.

Soon we reached!! And the sun was really strong omg :( Haha thank goodness my mom bought sunblock for me before we headed here!!

Had no idea where to begin haha so we just went to the aquarium first!! Aww ijr that we didn't visit the panda enclosure :( I think it would've been more interesting than the aquarium haha oh well didn't think of it.

The very first ride we queued up for was Hair Raiser!! I went with Joy cause no one else dared to go lol :P Haha the waiting time was supposedly 5 mins but we ended up waiting for super long?? :O Omg it was so disappointing eventually they just told us that there was a technical error and asked us to sit other rides -.- UGH SO ANNOYING. They completely wasted our time?? And worse we made the rest wait for nothing too :( Oh well. Eventually we didn't even get to sit it cause they didn't get it fixed pshh. Sian it's hands down the best ride in Ocean Park!!
Haha decided to sit an inferior version of that!! More family friendly lol cause everyone dared to go on it haha. Surprisingly it was quite fun!! So this was the first ride that we sat :) And for Ken, Andy and Nicole it was the only ride they sat hahaha.

Hehe then Joy, Gilbert and I sat The Flash!! IT WAS DAMN SCARY BUT FUN. Haha i didn't expect myself to be brave enough to sit it tbh hmm but i just yolo-ed and went eventually! NO REGRETSS. Couldn't stop screaming hahaha. The other 3 just watched us from below in horror (jk haha)
Went to Adventure Land next!! Had to go all the way down haha took like 4-5 escalators?? OOPS.
SAT THE MINE TRAIN!! With Joy and Gilbert again haha and there were 3 drops wah damn shiok. Haha that was the last ride that we sat which was a bit sad cause there are so many other rides in Ocean Park. But it's okay cause at least they were all fun!! :) I got annoyed cause Andy was supposed to go on this one but he backed out :( And right before we left for hk he promised to go on the rides with me :(( But they were 'too scary' for him hahaha oh well.

Didn't stay for long cause we realised that the show only starts at 8:10pm! So we went elsewhere to have dinner first! :) My mom was too lazy to join us hahaha so she just spent the time eating +shopping!
GENKI SUSHII :D So weird that they didn't really have main courses though haha so we just had sushi and divided the bill by 6! LOL now every time i type "sushi" i'll instinctively add an extra 'i' HAHA.
And then it was time to go back :D It got a lot colder at night haha but it was damn shiok omg.
Erm we expected more from the show hahaha this was basically it?? Like just different lights flashing at different angles and stuff :P And with music in the background haha.
This was kinda cute though although i couldn't understand the relevance of it :P HAHAHA IT WAS JUST....a little disappointing.
Hehe then it was time to go back!! Bought dim sum otw home cause some of us were still a bit hungry! I wasn't v hungry but i just ate haha.
Went to their apartment first!! Just kept talking while enjoying our dim sum hehe. We drank cider + some fake whisky (according to Gilbert) too! I don't think i drank a lot lol but i could feel my entire face heating up after awhile so i had to stop -.-

Yay then we started playing truth or truth haha as expected most/all of the questions i got were about Andy...hmm there were pretty interesting questions haha. It was really fun though! :D We were all pretty honest haha and we laughed a lot too!! :) Didn't wanna leave so early but we kinda had to cause i still had to wash my hair and stuff :/ So we left at 11!

My mom was exhausted too so we just all crashed YAY.

DAY 3
Last day!! SO FAST OMG :O Hehe we must have another trip again!! Going overseas with friends is fun :D Soo we got up pretty early and went down for breakfast!! Just Andy and I haha my mom asked me to smuggle waffles up to the room for her to eat :P First stop was Victoria Peak and my mom told us that she'll meet us after we were done! :)

Yay so we finally made our way to Victoria Peak, had to get to the peak tram first which took FOREVER. I felt really lost even though i wasn't the one leading the way haha. Tried to catch up to Andy a few time but he was walking too fast so i gave up :/ Hehe but kudos to him for finding the place!! :) So got there and bought our tickets :D
There were no seats left so we had to stand :( Hehe it was pretty cool though. SUPER STEEP OMG i felt like i was gonna fall :O Okay but i was sitting most of the time cause there was an extra seat haha.

YAY REACHED then we went somewhere to get coffee first!! I didn't buy anything cause i still had my almond drink with me from the first day haha. And when we were ready we went up to the sky terrace!! :)

The girls only went to F21 haha cause i only had time for that before the flight :( The guys had nothing to see there so they went to take a look at other shops haha. LOL i spent so long in there but i ended up only getting one pair of shorts :( Dk when i got so picky with clothes but oh well haha. Really wanted to take a look at Hollister (even though Andy claimed that there's nothing there) but there was no time :( Ugh i'll always go to their website and see so many pretty items. Didn't get to visit the one in London too :O Oh well maybe it's not meant to be :(

We watched Paddington hehe it was not bad :) Watched like 15 mins of Horrible Bosses 2 before that but it was so crappy we had to stop lol. The jokes didn't impress me at all -.- Hehe time passed really quickly and v soon we were back in Sg!! Quite sian haha but oh well.
SAD FACES cause we had to deal with the horrible weather again :/ I guess even though the trip was a little disappointing, anywhere's better than staying in Sg with nothing new to do haha. Hehe and the company was really what made it fun!! :) SO YEAP NO REGRETS :D
WAHH I'M FINALLY DONEE. I started on this post ytd night haha but i was too lazy to continue!! I think the stuff that i said is kinda boring though haha oh well. Kinda tired & sian now cause i had a v uncomfortable nap :( But it was my first day of work!! :) Met Alicia there and everyone was v friendly and willing to help. Today was really chill though. Apparently they're a lot busier on weekends!! Hehe excited to learn more! :)
SOO I SHALL GO NOW. Haven't been doing much haha ytd all i did was go to Wheeler's to meet the manager followed by my spine treatment! Hehe so yeap. CYA SOON :))
