First day of Prelims OMGG

HEY THEREE. Today's like day one of prelims, English was kinda hard, especially the summary! I really couldn't think of a paraphrase for some of the points. Well but i'm just glad that it's over. Oh gosh i was seriously freaking out before the start of the first paper, Sheryl kept telling me to calm down, but yeah it didn't work. As fast as i was writing for SS..i still didn't manage to complete the paper :( It's not a very nice feeling however i would say that I STILL SURVIVED. As in, i managed to complete most of the questions and i'm quite confident of answers :) I'm just so thankful that Bonding Singapore came out!! Lol Mdm Fong was damn funny, it felt more like a common test than a prelim exam cause she took the whole thing quite flippantly and was jumping around and stuff, HAHAH. 

Okay so the SS paper ended at 2.30pm and i had tuition at 3.30pm. Yeap so before tuition i went for lunch with Grace, Esther and Brin at GOLDEN ROOSTER. Then it reached 3.30pm and just as i was getting up to leave for tuition, Grace just HAD to tell Esther that i talk to straws, but i don't!! Lol i freaking choked on my barley after hearing that aww man it was such an embarrassing moment. Haha yeah then idk how much longer they stayed there for. I entered my tuition class at like 3.40pm and they barely started on the first question! I KNEW THEY WOULD START LATE HEHE. 

Anyway i'm feeling so happy right now. All of a sudden i'm like stress-free although i know i shouldn't be feeling this way. Ahh i'm not in the mood to study anymore! I think i'm just glad that the SS paper is finally over (after fretting over it for days) and that tomorrow is a SATURDAYY. Hooray, the combined science girls have to go back for Chem lessons but that's okay cause i know it'll pass rather quickly! :) Alright gonna go now, studying resumes tomorrow regardless of how unwilling i am to study! YEAP, BYEE :)

Teacher's Day/Aces Day

THE CARDS WE MADE FOR THE TEACHERS :) I just had to snap a photo of them!

Yeap that's a photo of the three of us, it's kinda weird but it's so that the teachers won't forget us LOL. And we gave each of them a red pen :) IT'S PRACTICAL! 

Took three of these using my instax. Haha it's teacher's day but we didn't manage to take with any of the teachers oh well. At least i got to use it! :)

OMG I LOVE THESE KIND OF CELEBRATIONSS. Basically what we did today was to start with Aces Day routine, go back to class for class party then go to the hall for the Teacher's Day performance! :) I really hope GAGE BROWN WINSS!! We were really enthu, lol i love doing the routine it's so fun :) Unfortunately we didn't really get to eat during the class party :( AND THERE WERE LOTS OF FOOD. Such a waste!! Haha we sang a parody of What Makes You Beautiful and Nic played the guitar, Ms Tan and Mrs Raj looked happy yay. Ms Tan showed us some parts of this movie, which is about a gymnast who injured himself and was told that he could never go back to doing gymnastics, but in the end he managed to and whatever. It's based on a true story! These kinda movies and inspirational and all but i don't really enjoy them, sometimes it gets a bit too depressing and i don't feel entertained for some reason. Yeah, but the moral of the story was to never give up and focus on what you have to do at hand and stuff. 

Kay i loved the Teacher's Day performance! It wasn't perfect but it's hard to prepare for these kinda performances cause there was so many different groups of people performing. And they're all students! So yeah it was good :) Afterwards we went to the staff room to pass the teachers their cards! Waited for quite awhile before most of them appeared. Haha i was like explaining to them about why the card had a photo of us. Didn't manage to see Mr Chew and Ms Choo so we just put the cards in the pigeon holes. And finally we left at about 11 plus. I bet the whole world is studying for SS right now, so i shall go study too! Really worried for tomorrow because i realised that i can barely remember anything about the chapters that i studied. AWW MAN IT SUCKS. Can't wait for tomorrow to be over, then it's the holidays yay!! Yeah i have to study during the holidays too but at least i won't have to cram so badly, unlike now!! KAY THEN BYEE :)

HEY THERE SO WE HAD ANOTHER REALLY SHORT SCHOOL DAY :) I seriously can't believe that our Prelims are in two days. I'm gonna spend the rest of the day studying for SS, memorising the points and making sure i know the links and stuff. Hmm but other schools are starting Prelims tomorrow so i guess we should be kinda thankful that we're not :) So today passed rather quickly. Didn't do much, for Emath Ms Lum just let us ask her questions instead of teaching the class as a whole. Aww man Esther and I were singing all sorts of songs haha it was kinda fun/funny but we weren't really focusing on Emath!! During Chinese Lao Shi went through some stuff with us, i feel like i really benefited from that lesson :) It's like all of a sudden i feel more confident for Paper 2. Hmm so today i was also told about what happened to Grace on twitter, i can understand why she was so pissed off omg. Yeah so hope she can just forget about it soon! 

SUCKY THING IS THAT I FELL AGAIN, WHILE PLAYING CATCHING DURING PE. Sian it wasn't a very bad fall, the injuries are VERY MINOR. But it's so annoying how like ONCE i start running again then i immediately have another fall! I'M CURSED OR SMTH OMG, HAHA JK. Okay i'm gonna go study for SS now. Really looking forward to celebrating Teacher's Day/Aces Day tomorrow & giving the teachers their gift! :) CYA THEN!

3 days to prelims

HEY THERE. Yay i haven't been blogging as often as i used to! I assume it kinda means i'm studying more that's why i have no time to blog hahah. Alright so nothing much happened in school today. I just feel happy that we got to go home at 2.10pm and yesterday we got to go home at 1.10pm WOAHH. Haven't gone home that early in a long LONG time. Since im' retaking Chinese we had to do like one email and one compo, i can't remember how to write a good compo anymore :( Got to revise! I'm feeling quite confident about the upcoming Chinese exam actually, although my Chinese sucks at the moment. However for some reason i think i can pull up my Chinese standard rather quickly :) I have been reading all the compos from the hao zuo wen!

Yeah okay, so Nic Sher and I were making our cards for the teachers to pass to them on Teacher's Day. It is kinda weird how we pasted photos of the three of us on the cards, but i mean, how else are they gonna rmb how we look like?? Hahah yeah so initially i did think it was kinda odd but now i'm fine with it :) Idk whether i'm looking forward to the September holidays or not. I really hope that i'll spend it well and seriously study. Yeah i expect myself to go out at least once or twice, if not i'll feel really miserable hehe, but i still intend to study a lot! Okay got to go study SS now, it's really annoying me. Just hope that the chapters i studied will come out!! KAY BYEE :)

Hey there! So yeah we had dinner at Greenwood today, the food was really good :) Too bad Dan was too tired to go, haha after playing for so long. Anyway, i spent like almost my entire day doing Amath and SS. Now i really don't know if i'll able to finish studying SS in time for Prelims. It really sucks there's just so much to memorise! Everyone keeps telling me to just rmb the main points, which is what i'm doing but it still seems to be taking forever! :( Just making notes itself is a really tiring process. Oh btw, thanks Sylvie for testing me on what i'm supposed to memorise! Okay so my mom suggested that we go to Greenwood for dinner, because she knows that i hate being cooped up at home all day. And yeah just going out for dinner made my day seem so much better! :) When we came back i wasn't in the mood to study anymore, so yay we watched Miss Hong Kong 2012. Haha it actually ended not too long ago. Hmm i'm not very happy with the results but nvm. OMG IT'S GONNA BE 12AM. Going to bed right after i'm done with this. Okay cya then, it's back to school tmr! :)

HEY THERE IT'S SATURDAYY. I'm feeling so lethargic, just had 3 hours of Chem tuition, again. Anyway i wanted to go for Emath today but i didn't cause i realised i didn't have any questions! Lol i was talking about it to Grace (chia) last night for damn long and i only came to a decision (to not go) at 12am haha. The crazy thing is that i woke up at 11.50am today! So i slept for like 11 hours last night, WOAHH. And usually when there's school, i sleep at around 1am the night before and wake up at 6am! That's why i felt so amazed at myself for sleeping so long haha. Alright i was studying SS last night and it took me quite long to just finish studying one chapter, it's horrible! Gonna do one more chapter today, i should be able to finish studying by Friday :)

Okay i really dk what to blog about. I hate it when life gets so boring!! Oh so Teacher's Day is approaching, just as Prelims are and Nic, Sher and I kinda decided what we wanna give the teachers alr :) I have never given anything to my teachers lol. I gave cards before, but that's not really counted! Yeah i REALLY have nothing left to say. Neither do i have any pictures to post :( Well i guess with a boring life you have more time and do more of what's really important, rather than play all the time like me hahahah. HMM KAY LASTLY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NICKII! Will pass you your card on Monday! :) KAY THEN SHALL GO NOW, BYEE :)

I forgot where i found this from but it is so funny! 

HEY THERE. I didn't blog yesterday because there was really nothing much to talk about. Lol there's actually nth much to say about today either, but i wouldn't feel good if i didn't blog for two days. (i think i'm the only one who feels that way haha) So school was quite good today. I was so happy to be able to school at 2.10pm! :) Usually the sci girls have practical till 5pm, YAY NOW THERE'S NO MORE :) Anyway, PRELIMS ARE IN 6 DAYS?! That's crazy i'm not done studying and i haven't even started studying for SS oh my gosh. I just realised how much we have to study for it, it's insane! Idk how some people manage to study 3 whole themes, i've actually never done that before. I'm still contemplating whether or not to study Venice, i don't think i will though. AHH I FELT SO CONFLICTED DURING SS, THINK MANY OF US DID. 

Anyway, English today was hilarious! We laughed a lot cause of the conversation between Mrs Raj and Divya. We always anticipate smth interesting to happen after Divya asks a question haha! Aww man i'm feeling very nervous for Prelims now. The subject that i should be focusing the most on would have to be Amath, but i'm not really focusing on it! All thanks to BIO, there's always so much to study for bio! Yes, even after i've dropped to combined science. I felt awesome after studying Chem last night cause the combined textbook is so much thinner and i went through quite a few topics! :) 

Hmm, so after school, Divya, Rachella and I went to Island Creamery! Divya asked me to follow her cause she wanted to study, then i realised that there was food for me at home so whilst Rachella went to cut her hair, both Divya and I went home haha. Yeap, didn't end up doing any work, i just ate ice-cream, that's all! Okay i'm gonna shower now then i'll do work. CYA THEN :)

English Orals

Just trying to stop myself from thinking about the suckish oral exam i just had.

HEY THERE. English O Level Orals were quite bad. The conversation was about problems in your community and the importance of maintaining greenery. I went off point! I know i did now that i think about it and it's just so depressing. Because i could've said many good points, which i only thought of AFTER the exam. Wth?! And the pictures was about a protest meeting, did not expect anything like that! I guess we should be prepared for anything. I just felt that all the research i did and practice i did was for nothing. Practicing reading paid off though, i didn't read that quickly and i felt that my reading was quite fluent! Yeah so that was the best part. I'm feeling crappy about the other two sections :( I took a nap just now, the moment i got up from my nap the FIRST thing that came into my mind was ORALS once again. And after i tried so hard to not think about it anymore! :( NVM I'LL STOP THIS NOW, IT IS OVER. I guess i should be happy about that. I'll just be proud of the fact that i really put in a lot of effort to prepare for this oral exam, so i already did the best i could! :)

It sucks how we have a Bio test tomorrow, i haven't studied for it! But i'll do so soon, after i shower and everything. Ahh i'm feeling so down lately!! :( What way is there to cheer myself up?? CHOCOLATE MAYBE?? IDK. Now that i'm gonna go shower i'm sure that i'll be over thinking things again, oh no. But over thinking is not going to make ANYTHING better. Alright i shall go now, i really dk what to say anymore! I'm just hoping that the days ahead can be less stressful for me, but it's highly unlikely since our Prelims are starting next Friday. Well someone once told me that "Just do your best, your best is enough." YES SO I'M GOING TO KEEP WORKING HARD. Cya then!

Yeap i've been studying frantically for orals since yesterday. I still don't feel confident! This sucks, i really hope they don't ask us smth odd and difficult to answer. Anyway, thank you Grace for lending me your Vocab Skills 4 book! :)

THE SCREEN OF MY PHONE CRACKED!! I don't get it, i've dropped my phone so many times and it never cracked before, not until now! I dropped it otw to school on Saturday, lol i really want to get it fixed. 

OKAY SO ENGLISH ORALS ARE TOMORROW AHH. I'm super nervous for it! But Grace (low) sent me like two bible verses to try to prevent me from worrying so much, i really needed them so thank you Grace! Yeah so i think i'm not AS nervous as i was yesterday. I did A LOT of research so i obviously hope that any of of the topics that i prepared for comes out. Idk how it's gonna be like going first, hopefully it won't be too pressurizing! For my reading, i seriously need to slow down, cause everyone keeps telling me that i'm reading too quickly. Honestly, i get a bit annoyed by that but i know that they're only trying to help. I must remember not to use 'YA' at all, and don't say 'ERM..". YEAP. Okay i think i've studied enough for orals, i didn't even spend time studying for my geog test tomorrow! And i MIGHT have to take the Amath test that i didn't sit for earlier. So yeah didn't study for it either lol, see how determined i am to ace my orals??

Kay so after getting back my Chinese results, i kept telling myself not to feel disheartened and just continue to work hard for the other O Level papers. So that's exactly what i'm trying to do now. The thing is we can't retake any paper for English so i HAVE to do well for orals, Mrs Raj said that if we blow our orals we have to do EXCELLENTLY for our other papers in order to get an A. I feel scared thinking about it, so i shan't.

Btw, i went out with my family to Taka today. Lol like 11 of us squeezed into a table that was meant for only 8 people. It was screamingly funny. We ate at Sushi Tei! :) Sad how i ordered the Tempura for myself and ended up only eating ONE of it, hahah but i'm a nice person i like to share :) (who am i kidding) Kay yesterday, was THE MOST BORING AND MUNDANE DAY EVER. I spent the ENTIRE day at home studying for orals, how depressing it that?! Idk whether it's a good or bad thing, because the whole day passed soo quickly, oh gosh it was too unbelievable. Told that to Sher and Nic and Sheryl was like "story of my life" hahahah. I guess i'm just not used to staying home all the time.  Okay shall go to bed now, it's getting close to 12am. Gonna just do my best for orals and NOT WORRY. GOODNIGHT! :)

Starhub TVB Awards 2012

HEY THERE! Sorry for not posting the whole of yesterday, i was preoccupied with lessons. AND i went to watch the Starhub TVB Awards!! :) AS EXPECTED, I WAS EXTREMELY THRILLED TO SEE SOME OF MY FAVOURITE ACTORS & ACTRESSES. So, we got to MBS at about 6pm, whereas the doors open at 6.30pm. Erm okay, sorry if some of you are completely uninterested in what i have to say about this awards ceremony. Probably cause you guys don't watch HK drama!

So after it ended, we went to some coffee shop to eat, because we were so hungry! Didn't get to eat dinner before that :( I must say that the food was delicious! (and expensive) LOL and it came really quickly, just as we needed it to. After we were done eating, we had to wait for the car (cause of valet parking). And we waited for OVER thirty minutes! CLOSE TO AN HOUR ACTUALLY. Guess what, by the time we got onto the car and prepared to make our way home, IT WAS GONNA BE 12AM. Unbelievable. I only went to bed at 1.30am last night!! (i woke up at 10 plus today, it's considered pretty early!) I even wanted to blog but then i would've slept at 2 plus haha. After showering i went to do two vocab exercises and i just felt so sleepy. So yeah. Yesterday was quite a good day! 

What i did in the morning and afternoon was to go for Emath, Bio, then Chem tuition. I had lunch with some of the Combined Science girls at Macs before heading off for tuition. Our conversations were just hilarious, we couldn't help but burst out laughing at some of the things we said! It was with Luk Ching, Grace, Rachella, Wen-Yi and Brin! :) Okay i really have to study for English Oral, feeling all the more nervous about it after hearing how badly some of theirs went. GONNA HAVE MY LUNCH NOW, CYAA :)
