3rd time at Lola's + Thai romance comedy!!

Hi!! Shall briefly blog about yesterday since i have time haha. Sooo I WENT BACK TO LOLA'S :)) With Chow cause she wanted to try it!! Hahaha i'm judging myself lol cause i keep going back there but the food is just too good :O

Hehe so met Chow at 12+ and we made our way there! :) She was late but i was super understanding because she stays at JURONG hahahah. GUESS WHAT THERE WAS NO QUEUE!! :)

Ordered their truffle fries, mushroom meltz and honey wings!! YEAP YOU'LL BE SEEING PICS OF THE FOOD AGAIN.  

THIS WAS REALLY YUMMY. So glad we tried it!! :) Idk what i should try next haha maybe i should try stuff on their dinner menu? But their brunch looks better haha. Okay but after trying 3 of their main courses i can safely conclude that all the food they serve here is GREAT :)

Shared this!! Still not tired of the fries and wings haha idk what's wrong with me :P Hehe took our time to finish the food and talked a lot!! :)

 I'm glad she wore a nicer shirt today hahaha. THE LIGHTING HERE WAS SUPERB

We also planned to go present shopping so from here we headed to City Hall! :)

Found these Chinese dedications and just decided to take selfies in front of it haha. 

After roughly deciding on what to get as a present we began shopping!! HEHE went to Bershka, TEMT and Suntec City's Factorie! We didn't buy anything though haha we were close to buying stuff from Factorie!! Ugh so annoying cause they usually only have the bigger sizes :( 

Made this a little smaller so i won't seem so self-absorbed :P I COULDN'T DECIDE WHICH TO BUY :( Eventually when i decided i wanted the floral one i realised it was 30 bucks hahaha so i passed. But i'm still thinking about it so i might go back and get it haha. We tried sooo many dresses yay it was quite fun and also v shiok cause the place was so empty!! So we didn't have to worry about inconveniencing the staff or anything. 

Had to rush a bit because Andy bought tickets for the thai romance comedy at 4.30pm! Hehe so we quickly grabbed Llao llao and bought the present!! :)

Didn't wanna be too full so i just bought a small cup and surprisingly without all the extra toppings i enjoyed it more!! :)

Soo we parted ways at Dhoby!! Hehe had such a fun time can't wait to meet again to do some real shopping! :)

Met Andy at Dhoby, bought a drink from Cold Storage and we quickly went up! This is such a cute movie!! Hahaha couldn't stop laughing lol and some parts were just so sweet and cute :) No regrets spending an extra $7 on this YAYY.

Spent forever deciding on what to eat...we actually went to Orchard first cause he wanted to their the shiok maki but it was too crowded :O Soo we ended up at Fat Boys!! 

 VERY YUMMY BURGER. Haha bought i was so full after eating it!! 

So after that he sent me home!! :) That was when i realised it's only 3-4 days before he enters NS :O SO FASTTT. Haha at least we've been spending a lot of time tgt. Gonna meet him later to cook again!! But i'm waiting for him to go home first haha. Sian if i'd known i'll have so much free time i would've gone to the gym :/ Haha so yeap that's all for now. Day out + MacRitchie nature trail!

HELLOO. The past two days were fun!! :) Although Andy and I were both v tired by the end of both days haha. What's new :P I almost forgot to blog haha but thankfully i didn't! HEHE SO HERE GOES.

28th January

We were only supposed to spend a few hours together! (like 4-5 hours?) Haha cause i asked him to accompany to Far East for a haircut then we planned to walk around town and finally get his shoes. But i ended up joining him and his jc friends for dinner!! Totally wasn't part of the plan haha but i'm glad it happened! :)

So we met at around 2pm!! Spent awhile finding a hair salon haha and i ended up choosing a more expensive but reliable one! Cause my mom always goes to that one haha. Spent soo much longer than expected in there cause it was only supposed to be a haircut, without washing! But they convinced me to go for a treatment at a much lower price hahaha so i just went for it lol. I thought the price they told me was the total price for the haircut + treatment but nope it was only for the treatment itself!! :O Sooo i ended up spending so much more than i intended to spend :( But i'm quite satisfied with my hair i guess haha, although it doesn't look that different :P

Can you tell that it's shorter??? PLEASE SAY YES :( Haha i made Andy take so many selfies today :P 

Then we wanted to go somewhere to have a drink or buy a snack! So we ended up eating chee kuey in Tangs!! Haha and after this we sat at Yakun for awhile and i bought barley :)  

AND ONCE AGAIN WE WENT BACK TO VANS. Haha cause they said they'll have new stock on Wednesday!! But they didn't have new ones for the one he wanted.... -.- OH WELL HAHA. And lol i bumped into so many people in town :P It was weird haha but i saw Qiyi (my band senior) and that was a pleasant surprise!! :) 

SO we went back to the shoe shop at City Hall and he was damn determined to finally buy a pair of shoes haha. ANDD HE DID!! YAYYY :) Haha they have Vans there so he ended up buying a pair that he didn't try before! It's quite nice! :) SO YEAP i was really happy that he finally got his shoes haha (happier than him i think :P)

And from there we walked to Clarke Quay!! Since he was meeting his friends there :) 

I told him to "stop slouching" and he heard "stop smiling" so he was confused cause he wasn't even smiling HAHAHA. So ya he still slouched (insert angry face). 

The view here looked kinda nice so i requested for another selfie haha 

'STEP SHOT'. He thinks he looks stupid here haha but it's fine what!! :P

Wanted someone to take a pic for us so we asked this couple who were passing by! They were really nice and took a few photos for us from different sides haha. 

Although i really like this pic i can't help but feel annoyed by how short i look here :(

After this we went into the mall to find somewhere to sit and grab a drink!! It was damn early like only 5+ :O And he was meeting his friends so we had 1+ hours to spare haha. Bought some random drink and some random stall at the basement :P And after that we went to walk around!! I'm currently still looking for a bday present for a friend hehe. (Shall not name who just in case she sees this!!) But okay i couldn't find anything :(

So after awhile we decided to just sit by the river!! :) 

HAHA MORE SELFIES. Suddenly Gilbert said he was at Clarke Quay Starbucks alr so Andy didn't say anything at first. Then Gilbert said that he has 1-for-1 and immediately he said "OMG I'M COMING" HAHAHA. Fatty :P So i followed him to Starbucks!!

Later Joy came and we talked for awhile while they were waiting for Ken and Wei Lin! Then Joy asked me if i wanted to join them for dinner haha and i refused at first but after they all met they kept asking me to join :O So i just said okay haha. I didn't wanna intrude at first cause i don't know them that well haha. But they're really warm bunch so we could talk comfortably! :) We ate Bah Kuh Teh which was opposite Clarke Quay!! After that we had hokkaido ice-cream back at Clarke Quay haha

After ice-cream we took photos!! I felt a bit extra hahaha but oh well 

 Then Joy took out her new selfie stick and it was soo funny cause she didn't really know how to use it!! We kept laughing hahaha but okay it sort of worked eventually! :)

ANDD THE LAST ONE :) They were taken using my phone haha. What surprised me was that they added me to their WA group after this!! So i could send them the pics lah haha but still :O It was nice of them! 

Then we all sat down in a sort-of circle for awhile and just talked! :) Joy took pictures with everyone haha including me!! We look creepily alike in the dark haha idk don't we look similar?? :P 

So at about 9.45pm we left!! Andy sent me home haha cause it was quite late alr. Hehe yeap so that's all for this day :) Glad i joined them although i probably shouldn't intrude the next time haha.

29th January

We actually had no idea what to do today haha. Like we wanted to go to MacRitchie but the weather forecast predicted thunderstorms!! And we really didn't want to go back to town haha but eventually we still went! Idk why we were so daring :P

Met him at Newton MRT's bus stop at about 1!! LOL we really should've worn smth different haha usually people wear sports attire and sports shoes but we wore slippers and casual clothes.... HAHA OH WELL. I didn't even have a hair tie :O SO SMART :P

Took 167 all the way to MacRitchie and from there we walked a bit and found the start of the trail!! :)

Walked past the reservoir first!

SO PRETTY HEHEHE. Feat. Andy's elbow haha 

Soo we finally started!! It was a 4.6km trail (i think) to tree top walk! Some website said the whole thing would take 2-3 hours haha and i was damn shocked cause idk if i can walk for so long?! BUT OKAY I SURVIVED. Followed quite closely behind these few ang mohs dudes at first haha. Then after awhile we kinda overtook them :P 

After awhile i was getting so sweaty and tired alr hahaha. But of course we just continued walking!! It was really interesting actually hehe. Kept hearing so many strange sounds and seeing random insects/bugs! The path was quite rocky throughout though so it was difficult walking in my slippers :( My feet started to hurt after awhile! Lesson learnt haha.

Every 500m there will be a sign telling you how far you've walked! It felt like ages before we reached 3km haha and from there we finally stepped out to a wider and smoother path!! :)

From here the walk was less tiring! :) And we were more eager to get to Tree Top Walk haha. 

0.6KM :O It really seems so much shorter than 4km haha. Couldn't help but feel satisfied and excited! 

Walked past this area and after this there was this super steep path?! Like we were very near the place alr but the path was just so steep hahaha we were damn tired :P

But finally we reached!! :) It's a narrow bridge haha so you can only walk one-way!  

I looked a lot redder than this in actual fact hahaha. I just felt super sticky and gross but Andy kept calling me cute -.-

THE VIEWW. We were soo high up haha it was damn scary to look down!! And the bridge didn't feel that stable haha so yeah it was like scary and super cool at the same time! 

I don't look great here but i must admit this was quite well taken!! :) Is my shirt cute haha this is the one Andy got for me from BKK!

And i took this for Andy!! But i feel so bad cause i didn't take it as well haha. I'm too short maybe so that's why angle is weird :/ 

THIS MONKEY WALKED PAST US. The bridge is like so narrow alr haha and when i saw the monkey walking towards us on the railing i was damn scared?! Like idk if it'll attack us or smth haha. But before entering there was a sign which told us to just remain calm and not agitate the animals if they appear. So we just stayed still while waiting for it to walk past us haha and i didn't dare make eye contact or move :P So yeap nothing happened!! It seemed quite docile actually haha. It was quite cool to have a monkey walk so near us! :)

So after this it wasn't the end!! FAR FROM IT ACTUALLY HAHA. We still had to walk super far :( And by then we were so tired haha. So we slowly walked down a couple of steps and further on to head to ranger station! We thought we could exit from there but we were wrong :P Still had to walk about 2.6km to get out :O We walked on the road haha so A LOT of cars had to avoid us. IT WAS EXHAUSTING. And finally we got out and found a bus stop!! Haha at this point Andy was like "CIVILISATION!" 

Took 167 back to my house and my mom picked us up halfway cause i told her we were very tired haha. Then i showered and guess what we left the house again cause i had to go and take smth from Andy's house!! It's this hello kitty that i'm helping him sell on Carousell haha. And i'm meeting the buyer soon so yeah. We were damn tired lol (i've probably said this a few times alr) i'm not sure why i decided to go all the way to his house also haha. But nvm lah :P Then from there we took the train tgt cause he was meeting his aunt at Somerset!

SSOOO THAT'S ALL! :)) I spent forever on this haha. I feel damn stone and tired now actually :P But i still wanna watch my show haha. Oh well. Tmr i'm meeting Chow for lunch!! :) And then Andy and I gonna watch another movie lolol yes we've been watching a lot of movies lately :P Nvm lah haha we won't get the chance to watch so many after he enlists!! Hehe so bye for noww :)

HII. Shall blog about two days together again!! Haha soooo the past two days with Andy passed by pretty quickly. And it sucks cause i feel like we have so few days left tgt before he enlists :O Such that every day should be spent meaningfully! Haha but then again it's just a phase which i believe we will get though!! :)

26th January

Yesterday we cooked our own dinner again hehehe and before that we watched Whiplash!! Met at Vivo at 2.55pm for the movie :) And before that i just went to the gym and watched my dramas i think haha.

IT WAS SOOO GOOD. REALLY INTENSE HAHA. And the two leads were super on point haha i don't really know how to put it but it's like they became their character haha. So yeah it was a quite a cool movie although a bit extreme haha.

And we decided to cook aglio olio hehe so from Vivo we took a train to Farrer Park and went to NTUC again!!

Bought prawns, chili padi and parsley!! He has the rest of the ingredients at home yayy. Yeap that's my new floral dress from Factorie hehe. 

His primary school friend was the cashier at NTUC haha (just saying) and i asked her what the pay was like she said 7/hour i think haha. So after buying the stuff we needed i felt kinda thirsty so we bought Gong Cha!! I didn't believe Andy when he told me there's gong cha there haha but okay there was :P

WITH OUR DRINKS :)) Took this while walking to his house from City Square Mall! My hair is horrible lol :P

Went back to his house and started preparing the ingredients!! His mom wasn't at home but surprisingly we knew what to do? Partly cause of Google haha. Oh then halfway his brother came home and he helped us! OH i learnt how to remove the digestive tract thing from the prawn!! Basically the part that shouldn't be consumed haha. QUITE FUN HEHE.

I cut the parsley, washed and cleaned the prawns and Andy and his brother did everything else haha. We finished it pretty quickly!! :)

 Frying the prawns with butter!! It smelled super good haha and tasted not bad too! :) 

 AND THE FINAL PRODUCT. Omg i was super sad cause it was way too spicy for me!! :O But it really tasted not bad!! Annoying Andy i told him to put VERY LITTLE chili first but he went ahead and put two chili padi inside and even him and his brother found it too spicy haha. I could only eat half of it cause i could feel my throat burning :( Sian but i really wanted to finish it haha.

In the end Andy finished it for me and thankfully his mom prepared char siew rice so i ate some of that!! THE MEAT WAS SPLENDID :O (is that a strange word to use haha) So we ate while watching The Flash and it's getting pretty exciting hehe. Will definitely continue watching it on my own! And so at about 8+ i left :) I honestly can't wait for the next time we try cooking!! Andy wants to cook steak hahaha but it'll be such a waste if we screw it up haha. So that's all for yesterday! :)

27th January

WE WATCHED ANOTHER MOVIE TODAY. Into the Woods!! :) Haha before that i just went to the gym (again cause i was bored), read and met a buyer! We were supposed to meet at 4pm at Novena, while the movie was at 4.25pm at Dhoby. And she was late :( She came at like 4.10pm? So i managed to board the train at about 4.15pm haha and thankfully i got there just in time for the movie!! :) Andy bought the tickets first!

Andy hated it hahaha but i thought it was pretty good!! :) He thinks it's stupid :( Kay lah some parts didn't make sense and were a bit lame haha but all in all i enjoyed the movie! Even though it got a bit draggy towards the end haha. But it's filled with so many unexpected twists :O I was shocked when i found out that the original musical isn't even meant for children! And to think that it's a mix of our childhood fairy tales :O Anyway i really like Anna Kendrick in this movie haha. So yeap glad we watched it :)

ANDD NEXT WAS ITACHO! He wanted to have it one last time before army!! No objections obviously hehe

My crabmeat chawamushi and cream croquette which i really love!! :)

And these came last! :) Along with a mackerel sushi haha. 

I felt like having dessert so after this we went to the basement to take a look at some of the dessert stalls! But we preferred a place with somewhere to sit haha sooo we ended up at Secret Recipe!

Our chocolate cheesecake! Which wasn't really worth the price haha it was just so-so :P If only there were seats at lao ban :( 

Went out to take some pictures! :) I wore the skirt he gave me today haha i really like how cute it is but it's kinda short hahaha. Can't help but feel insecure wearing it but it kinda makes my legs look longer :P

And someone offered to take this pic for us!! :) Not the best pic haha but it'll do :) Andy's face looks kinda red here for some reason :P Hehe so after this he sent me home!!

YAYY I'M DONEE. My mom's in HK so my grandmother and my dad are taking care of us tonight haha. Popo's gonna sleep in my room so i guess no audi tonight? :P And i hope i don't get too disturbed by her snoring haha. But it doesn't matter lah not like i have to get up early tmr. Yes i'm gonna be meeting Andy again :P Sometimes idk how we put up with each other....#overlyatttached hahaha. CYA THEN! :)
