we never go out of style~

HI THERE. I finally met up with the weirdos today!!! :) Yeap i mean Pearl and Sotong hahaha. BUT FIRST, Pearl and I went to thread our eyebrows at Far East!! Haha i'm gonna try and make this quick cause i still wanna watch my hk drama and i still have to get up early tmr :O

Sooo i woke up Pearl up at 2pm by calling her house haha. We arranged to meet at 4pm then she said 4.30pm haha but i was really bored at home and went to Far East first!! Got there at about 3+ close to 4, and at 4.30 Pearl said she just left the house -.- WHAT'S NEWW. Hahaha i'm so used to it lol it's so funny :P I walked around Far East, bought a drink and even went to Ion! Hehe then at 5+ she finally reached!! :)

Walked around the find the place her friend suggested and guess what, when we finally found it we were damn scared to go in HAHAHA so we just lingered outside?! SO LAME HAHA. But i was genuinely quite scared lol cause everyone around me keeps telling me that eyebrow threading is damn painful!! Okay but we went in eventually haha

SORRY PEARL. She hates this pic but i don't see anything wrong with it HAHAHA. She went first!! She said it was damn painful haha and she teared a bit! But it's mainly cause the woman accidentally cut her skin :O Haha when it was my turn i was damn nervous :P It hurt haha but thankfully i didn't cry!! It was a lot more painful when she plucked it actually, the threading wasn't as bad IMO. Lol shit lah my eyebrows are so long and thick no wonder it hurt so bad :( The woman told me not to wait till it's so long before threading hahaha. But it's the original length!! HAHA OH WELL. Anyway it was pretty affordable haha only 10 bucks! :)

The area underneath our eyebrows were really red :O It's kinda embarrassing if people notice it hahaha cause i'd be so obvious that we just went to do our eyebrows :P So we walked around Far East for a bit, Pearl was looking for a place that offers make-up services (is that what you call it) cause her prom is coming soon!! Haha i ended up buying a pair of shoes lol. Then we walked over to Taka to visit her brother! He was working at the basement and was selling cookies hahaha. The staff there were talking about how they were both super tall! So true haha they are like the guy and girl version of each other :P  

Soon after we headed to the bus stop!! This pic was taken at the bus stop lol i didn't even care whether people stared haha. You can see our eyebrows hehe but i think mine don't look that different :P 

Hahaha we were kinda behind schedule lol we told Sotong to go to my house at 7 for dinner but by the time we reached it was almost 8. So yes Sotong predicted that we'd be late and she only reached at around 8.30 :P  Haha so we started eating first with my sister and soon after Sotong came!! PEARL'S DAD WANTED TO PICK HER AT 9.30. It's much earlier than usual haha so Sotong had to multi-task and play cards while eating :P 

I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE HAHA. Sorry guys not many people will see this anyway!! Hehe we played taidi for awhile then Pearl's dad called to say he would pick her at NINE. LOL IT WAS HALF AN HOUR AWAY. Hahaha then okay she convinced him to pick her up later at 10! :) Better than nothing hehe :) 

It's so sad cause i was winning a lot at first and everybody hated me lol then i started losing :(( HAHA OH WELL. It was still fun as always!!! :) We kept scolding one another lol so amusing :P 

At about close to 10 my brother came home from church! There was some movie night going on haha so fun. He was so excited to see them haha (i could tell even though he didn't explicitly say it) and he managed to play a game of Bridge with us!! :) Wow i feel like i suck so bad at bridge haha. We started on our second game then Pearl's dad called to say he was downstairs alr!! UGH my brother and i would've so won that game hahaha. BUT OH WELL THEY HAD TO GO.  

Took a quick selfie cause i wanted to post it here hahaha then i walked them down!! ;) FUN NIGHT YAYY. 

I really hope we can meet up soon haha. Like after Pearl and I get back from Japan hehe. I'm so excited cause i'm gonna meet Pearl for awhile at Disneyland on the 12th!! :) My mom deliberately arranged for us to stay a little longer so we could meet!! HEHE THANKFUL. 

Anyway i just showered and guess what my hair is really rough and heavy and smells weird :( It's the smell of ammonia from the hair dye i think!! Wow i should find out how to treat my hair properly haha. So that it won't feel so shitty!! Maybe i really should've paid more for better service haha. Aiya we'll see if my decision was correct! Hopefully it doesn't look too different tmr :) Hehe okay shall go now! Excited to meet Grace and Nic tmr hehe, too bad Sher can't make it :( Oh well there's always next time!! CYA THEN :)

EXCITING DAY

Hi!! :) I'm really tired but i seriously wanna blog about today haha. It was so much fun!! :) TWO THINGS WENT ON TODAY. 1) I DYED MY HAIR WITH NIC 2) I watched the SG VS MSIA with my family and Andy!! I was really excited about both of them haha. SO YEAP i shall try to blog more thoroughly (for me to rmb everything in the future haha). 

So firstly, i met Nic at Far East! We planned to meet at 11.30am, i was too early hahaha i reached at around 11.15? AND NIC WAS LATE. Idk why i'm the always the one who's early now hahaha. So yeap while waiting for Nic i went to look at the salons!! TO COMPARE PRICES HAHA. The first two i asked were both $120 :O For dyeing hair lah haha. Then the third salon i asked it was $48?! SO MUCH CHEAPER. I guess i'd rather pay more for better service haha but the price difference was really A LOT. So yes when Nic came we just went to that salon!! 

The service was not bad lah!! :) Haha but i can see why it's cheaper cause when i dyed my hair last year (and paid like $160 for it), they wrapped my hair in some foil and used a steamer. But for this salon they didn't! Haha but i still got the colour/result i wanted!!! :) It took about 2 hours?? Not that long! :)

HEHE WE TOOK THIS RIGHT AFTER WE CAME OUT OF THE SALON :) We both dyed our hair brown!! Safest choice haha. Mine's supposed to be a bit redder but hers is lighter! Haha you can't see the colours clearly indoors.

So after we were done we went to have lunch at a sushi bar!! :) THE FOOD WAS GOOD HEHE. Although it was annoying that we ordered 2 chicken katsu but they only placed one order lol. So i waited for quite awhile for mine to come before we realised that it wasn't coming :P Haha but i guess that gave us more time to chat and catch up!! :) So it didn't feel that long after all! 

Hehe after eating we quickly went to Ion to take pictures!! Wanted to just find a random spot outside Far East to take pics but then we had to take the train at Ion anyway haha so why not find a more picturesque spot right! :) 

This is about the actual colour!! :) AND YES I WENT BACK TO THE SAME CHRISTMAS TREE. I did say i would come back when it's bright right? :P

Haha reduced the size of this selfie :P It's like i want to post it but idw to seem too self-absorbed :P Hehe yay really happy with my hair colour!! :) I'm so glad i decided to dye my whole head! I wanted highlights at first but the guy said if i used this colour it wouldn't be very obvious!! SO YEAP, I just hope the dye won't fade or anything and that it won't look horrifying when my hair grows out haha. 

Oh and i'm glad Nic's happy with her hair too!! :) THE 48 BUCKS WAS WORTH IT. Haha ANYWAY, after taking pics we went to find my mom and sis at TCC!! Turns out they were in Ion too haha. I wasn't surprised :P Chatted for a bit and then took the train! The soccer thing was supposedly at 6 so i went to find Andy first (who was still trying to recover from his chalet the previous night haha) and Nic went to meet her friend cause they were attending a BBQ!! Yeap so we parted ways at Lavender :)

Waited for Andy to get ready and stuff then we left :) He was damn tired cause he only had a few hours of sleep hahaha poor thing!!. But somehow i found it a bit amusing :P It's like wow he really can't function without his rest haha. Okay sorry i'm so mean :( Still glad he managed to last through the day hehe :) 

We headed to Stadium and went to Kallang Leisure Park!! Erm is that the name of the shopping centre lol i'm not too sure. Haha we waited at Starbucks for my family but they ended up going to Kallang Wave and halfway while trying to finish our drinks my mom told us the match starts at 8 not 7 :P HAHAHA so we didn't have to rush!!

Stumbled into Kallang Wave cause we were trying to find an ATM but the whole place only has one ATM and that's for Citibank lol. No POSB/UOB haha oh well. No choice we had to find my mom to ask for money :P SO SAD LOL. We are broke 18-year olds hahaha. Rushed our dinner at the food court so we could go in earlier hehe. Then we met back with my family and finally went to the stadium!! :)

It didn't even occur to me to wear red lol haha Andy wore white, my mom and my sister wore black and only my brother wore red HAHAHA. We had the OCBC fan though!! My sis is holding it in the picture haha. It was the only red item we had :P

The stadium!! IT IS HUGE OMGG. I wasn't used to seeing it at first haha i was just so fascinated by how big it was! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS PRETTY AWESOME TOO.  

 While waiting for the match to start :) My brother, Andy and I went up to buy some food too haha. It's so annoying lol they confiscated everyone's water so we were forced to buy from them?! CHEAP TACTICS LOL.

This was while they played Malaysia's national anthem!! SO COOL HOW THE FLAG ROLLED OUT HAHA.

The malaysian supporters!! Respect to them haha they were damn on throughout the entire match?! They stood up almost the whole time and just kept cheering and jumping haha. We probably made the most noise when Sg scored it's only goal and when a player from Sg fell hahaha.

SADLY, this was as good as it got. I was really tensed up during the second half haha. Malaysia scored then awhile later Singapore scored!! But it ended really badly lol Malaysia scored twice in the last four mins?! AND THAT WAS EXTRA TIME. Lol apparently the penalty was quite unfair but i didn't really know what was going on :( Oh well i'm just sad for them!! The last goal was the most ridiculous lol Sg's goalkeeper ran out of the goal post so it was like a free shot..... I guess he ran out cause he wanted to help the team but oh well bad choice :( 

After Malaysia's third goal people started leaving alr :( It's like aiya might as well just blow the whistle. We still clapped for the Singapore team to give them some support and encouragement!! Yeap then we left the stadium and ate a bit at this prata place haha. Then we went home!! My mom gave Andy a lift back :) 

Hehe overall it was a really good experience!! It was quite exhilarating haha and LOL my sis couldn't stop screaming it was hilarious. Yes so i guess i'm done blogging about today!! TMR I'M MEETING PEARL AND SOTONG YAY FINALLYYY. It's been too long since all 3 of us met up! Hehe shall sleep then. Not because i have to but because i'm exhausted haha. Goodnight then! :)

A glittery night

 Hi! So i decided to stay up for a bit to blog about tonight. Yeap tonight's the night of prom and Andy wanted to bring me out so i wouldn't stay at home and sulk about not being able to go. Haha we planned to go out quite awhile back? Yesterday's day out was more impromtu haha. Anyway i shall talk about the first part of my day first!! :)

So before meeting Andy i was out with my family! We visited a show flat first at Farrer, which was where we used to stay :( I stayed there for about 3/4 of my life so far? Yeap then we all had to move cause of the enbloc (how to spell haha). I miss it and it saddens me to see how different it looks :/ Oh well but it can't be helped. I have to admit it looks a lot nicer now!! I actually wouldn't mind staying there again haha.

So afterwards we headed to Vivo for lunch! We had Marche for lunch yayy :) I LOVE MARCHE HEHE, THEIR SAVOURY CREPES ARE THE BESTT

Guess what, after lunch my brother randomly mentioned that he wanted to watch Peguins (a spin-off from Madagascar) so we all accompanied him to watch it :P Haha i was really scared that i wouldn't be able to meet Andy on time lol.

Surprisingly the movie wasn't so bad!! :) It was quite entertaining haha and the penguins were really cute :) Haha i can't believe i actually went to find a pic of the movie poster...

SOOO after watching the movie we quickly headed home!! Haha quickly changed and stuff (i felt quite insecure about what i wore so it took awhile) and then my mom gave me a lift to Bugis! Okay she dropped me at NLB haha but turns out the place where we had dinner is really near NLB!! :) Found Andy and finally got to eat yayy :)

The place is called Steakhouse if i remember correctly!! :) Haha their menu reminds be a bit of Astons'? Cause it comes with a main dish and two sides. Except this is better hahahah. Hehe it was really good except that the steak which was a bit too bloody cause there was blood on my spaghetti :( Haha oh well. 

So after eating we went to town to walk around hehe. HAHA YEAP I WENT TO TOWN AGAIN. At least it's not with the same people? :P 

The first thing we did after exiting the MRT was to go up and see the pretty view!! And find a nice spot to take pics haha. I LOVE THIS CHRISTMAS TREE HEHE I WILL BE BACK ONE DAY WHEN IT'S BRIGHT :) 

Asked this random guy to help us take a pic but he couldn't at first cause he had to look after his child. But he was really nice and came back to help us take the pic once he got someone else to take care of him! :) He seems like a professional photographer haha, from the way he took the pictures! Hehe but yay i really like them if only if was brighter!!

I got a bit thirsty so we went to find a Cafe at Wheelock!! :) Settled for NYDC haha.

For some reason Andy looks drunk here hahaha.  

New York cheescake and some Raspberry lemonade drink!! I didn't know the drink would be so huge and didn't know there would be ice-cream haha. Not sure what ice-cream it was but it was really sour but it felt quite shiok to eat it haha. LOL ALL THOSE FATS :O It's okay Andy is going off to army soon and for me....well i'll try to exercise :P 

Hehe so spent some time there chatting and trying to finish our food. We left when we finally did! :) 

After leaving Wheelock we slowly walked from Ion to Somerset! :) Dk why but i can't get enough of looking at the lights haha. I just had to take more pictures!!

Hehe it was a lovely night :) My only wish was that it lasted a little longer haha. Anyway i think i kinda got over the fact that i didn't go for prom alr! Super thankful for Andy haha thanks for being so kind to me :') I keep thinking about how we could've gone to prom together and how much fun i'd have taking pics with my friends. But i figured i'll get over it eventually! Haha if it's about getting an opportunity to dress up, i'm sure there'll also be more chances in the future! SO YEAP ALL IS WELL :)) 

Anyway it's kinda late now!! Haha i texted Grace like 20 mins ago and she was still out with her classmates lol. Kinda excited for her to tell me how prom went actually!! Okay but i guess i'll have to wait :P I shall go to sleep soon! HAHA GOODNIGHT :)
