HI EVERYONE!! I know i haven't properly updated in FOREVER :(( Sigh school work is really piling up and besides that pracs are getting really intense!! Spending whatever free time i have just studying/working on projects and occasionally meeting Andy haha. But anyway i'm back and I shall blog about production!! :D

BUMP-IN DAY. It was super exhausting & i didn't really have 'production feels' yet haha but it felt great to experience to process of preparing for a show again!! The last time i experienced it was during drama production but it wasn't really the same being a backstage crew as compared to being a performer :/ SO YAY I GOT TO PERFORM AGAIN :D
QUALITY TIME WITH MY BELLIES. Haha we came out here cause it was way too squeezy and claustrophobic backstage :P Omg we had to wear this costume on Tues, Thurs, Fri & Sat!!! SO GROSSSSS. I didn't wash it on Thursday i just left it to dry in my air-conditioned room LOL but Friday i couldn't take it anymore haha and it dried in time YAY.
ALL GIRLS' ITEM. Hehe it's my fav item!! :) I rmb how in my J1 production i had a fav scene also haha & the last time they performed it i made sure i was there to listen to it!! :)
Super seniors' item! Nic and I learnt the bell groove LOL the side-stepping is so difficult?! It's like a double side-step haha super hard to coordinate with the playing omg. We practiced until we finally got it hahaha.
So we had to practice IN THE SCORCHING HOT SUN :( Thank goodness my foundation provides UV protection haha. Even so i felt burnt alr zzz. It was annoying being all sweaty & gross & we still had to make sure we looked good LOL. If only we performed indoors with air-con haha but i don't really know how that's possible cause we're so damn loud we'll need a really huge space for the volume to be bearable haha. So yeap it was a really tiring day of prac and the following day was performance day!!
26 February, Friday
FIRST DAY OF PERFORMANCE. Haha we still had to report early to prepare and stuff!! No surprise there.
UV FACE PAINT. It was supposed to be really simple hehe. I REALLY LIKE MINE. But i regret adding the dots cause they just kinda fell off after awhile LOL.
AND BODY PAINT. I did my legs and right hand by myself!! :D Got someone to help me for the left hand and it turned out nice too hehe. Anyway can you spot my new Adidas shoes! My mom bought them for me :D Cause we were supposed to wear white sports shoes and i bought a really cheap pair on Carousell at first but they didn't fit me too well so my mom bought me and authentic pair :O SIGHH it's $100+ so i really didn't want it at first but she insisted she had free vouchers haha. Hehe i really like them!! & everyone kept saying they were nice haha so thank you mummy :D
VANI AND I. We're going for OCSP tgt soon!! :) LOOK AT THE YELLOW DOT FALLING OFF MY FACE LOL.
& finally it was time to perform!! The Friday crowd was quite small but it's okay cause Grace was in the audience!! :D YAY SHE CAME WITH HER BROTHER. And she was second in line haha so punctual AWW. Not even punctual she came EARLY to grab good seats!!
We were allowed to go out for awhile to mingle with our friends :D Haha if she didn't come i'd have so little motivation omg. So yeah i'm really thankful that she came :) She almost didn't cause she and Sher couldn't find a common date to go! In the end they came separately haha.

UPTOWN FUNK. Budi messed up the singing zzz. YOU HAD ONE JOB. Ah well haha but it was still fun i always look forward to Uptown Funk!!

Then we had a realllyyy long debrief and Andy came to pick me up :D Haha he sat in during the debrief LOL. After awhile i didn't bother listening and i just kept texting him cause they were soo long-winded zz. But they changed our reporting time to 1pm!! I think it was 1 haha don't really remember but Andy and I had time to meet Sammi and Sheep for lunch :) So yay that concludes day 1!!
27 February, Saturday
Haha so as i mentioned, we met Sammi and Sheep for lunch before i had to report! :) Haha a few others were supposed to come also but they all kinda forgot i think?? HAHA LOL. Could've slept longer :( Cause we were supposed to meet before Wh leaves for Taiwan but he didn't show up :P Ah well haha at least we got to catch up with one of our fav couples :D So Andy walked me to Dhoby Gaut green and we parted!! I was gonna see him again that night anyway :)
SOO I had fresh clothes YAY. But i wore a different set of clothes for full-run cause i didn't want to wear my performance outfit whole day and get it dirty so early :P
I gave less shits cause i was like so tired by then hahaha so i was quite slack with the body paint HAHA. Here's Nic and I!
The day passed a lot quicker!! :) BEFORE WE KNEW IT IT WAS PERFORMANCE TIMEE.
Here's a short vid from Uptown Funk! Haha my mom took a lot of videos but i'm too lazy to upload them :P THIS SHOW WAS MUCH BETTER THAN FRIDAY'S :) Budi sang correctly YAYY. Except for one small part i think?? but yeah it was a lot better than Friday LOL thank goodness.
YAY then once we were done i went to find everyone!! Hehe so glad my whole family could make it :)) Always grateful for their unending support :')
& THE WEIRDO. Somehow i could spot him super easily while i was performing hahaha.
Us with Wai Han and Nicky!! YAYY THANKS FOR COMING. Haha i was damn scared that they would be bored?! I could sense them getting bored after awhile (just by observing them) & they said everything sounds about the same HAHAHA. But they still said it was a good show & it was just so nice they came SO YAY :D
& SHER CAME TOO!! ALONE :O Hehe so sweetttt :) I MANAGED TO SPOT HER IN THE AUDIENCE TOO. It's very sian when you know your friends/family are in the audience but you dk where they're seated LOL. So i'm glad i managed to spot everyone haha.

OH AND, got to thank Andy for the pretty flowers hehe it was a v sweet surprise :)) Oh and the single stalk is from Ws HAHA cause he couldn't come and he told Andy to get him smth which represents him AKA smth "single and cheap" LOL. Haha i appreciate it anyway!!

SO YEAPP THAT WAS ALL :) Day 2 performance pics aren't out yet so i might add them in soon!! OVERALL it was a really awesome experience :D Really unlike anything i've ever done even though it's still performing arts but the satisfaction i get from it is so much greater!! It's not like band where i just sit and play or like drama where i have to be super cautious and serious. I mean we have to put in the same amount of effort but in Samba i get to really have fun while performing hahaha. So yeap now i'm really looking forward to learning the senior songs and GERMANY!! I GOT IN YAY. Well they accepted most of the juniors actually cause a lot of seniors opted out haha but still i'm really thankful for the opportunity :) GONNA MAKE FULL USE OF IT (muscle arm).
Haha so that's about all!! Next i have to blog about Andy's birthday haha and all the March updates in general! :) I WILL MAKE TIME TO BLOG AGAIN. Blogging is so important haha. Alright i shall go now then!! CYAAA :)
