Bangkok + Updates!!

HI FRIENDSSSS. YAY i'm finally blog about my BKK trip now, along with some random updates at the end. But it's gonna be quite short and brief (what's new this is becoming the norm now :( ) cause my trip was quite...idk how to put it. Let's just say it wasn't v happening hahaha. We really didn't do much over the 3 days HAHA. My mom really meant for us to just chill sooo YEAP. LEGGO.

14 June (damn long ago omg)

I was really excited hehehe. Andy came to our house first so we could spend some extra time tgt :D Then he helped us move stuff and followed us to the airport haha.

OTW THERE. It was a really short trip so we didn't feel sad or whatever lah haha.

MY FRIENDSS AND I. I look super bad cause i think i didn't get much sleep the prev night??

Arrived at BKK!! The flight was so short hehehe just like 1h+??

Made our way to the hotel and it's SUPERR NICEEE. Idk why my mom got us such an atas hotel haha. Actually the whole trip we keep going to atas places LOL. Like we spent most of the time at Siam Paragon (the expensive area sigh) cause it was just opposite our hotel haha.

OUR ROOM!! There's a really cool swimming pool at the hotel hehe as much as i hate swimming i really wanted to go this time!

It was like late afternoon alr?? So we just hung around Siam Paragon haha then it was time for dinner!! My mom recommended these beef noodles! THEY'RE DAMN GOODD. Salty lah but really yummy. She ordered wagyu beef haha it was super tender!! YAY AWESOME MEAL.

Then we decided to watch Now You See Me 2!! IN 4D?! HAHAHA. I never knew there was such a thing. But yeahh since Sg doesn't have 4D movies we decided to just give it a try HAHA. The tickets were so ex omg....i think it was $20 each?? OH WELL :P

YAY

The 4D effects were not bad!! But i don't think it's worth the price HAHA. Like i'd just go once for fun then okay no more :P The movie itself....idk i found it too confusing!! The start and the middle was good imo then towards the end i'm just like...i don't really bother trying to understand anymore cause it's so confusing HAHA. I think it's just me but yeahh. I couldn't really appreciate it cause i didn't get it LOL. BUT IT WAS STILL ENTERTAINING :D

15 June

DAY 2. See told you we didn't do much HAHAHA. This was another chill day!!

We wanted to eat at this really cute cafe and it was open but there was no one there?? -.- SO ANNOYING. We waited for quite awhile but nopeee nobody appeared.

SOOO we just went in and took pics then left HAHA. It's such a cute cafe!! Can't get over it.

Idk how many people have touched the bear so i tried not to touch it so much HAHA.

Ended up coming to this place for brunch!! :) They sell like thai fusion food?? It's at Siam Paragon's basement haha. I think we had almost all our meals in Siam Paragon HAHA.

Next, my mom and i went shopping at Platinum!! YAYY FINALLY MY TURN TO SHOP. THERE WERE SO MANY SHOPS?! Obviously not all of them appealed to me but i did manage to find quite a lot of stuff! Sadly there wasn't enough time to explore the entire mall cause we didn't wanna leave my siblings alone for too long!! They were just...doing nothing at the hotel LOL. I FELT BAD.

YAY LOOTS.

SOOO WE QUICKLY HEAD BACK. Damn annoying we almost got cheated by this cab driver?! Platinum Mall is SUPERR near our hotel but he went all the way to somewhere else WTS. Luckily my mom checked google maps and realised that he went WAY PAST our hotel. So she quickly scolded him and he immediately turned back but then i still dk where he was going....it was so annoying. Damn scary sia wts. Then we got caught in a jam -.- Spent like 30 mins in the cab when it should've been like less than 10 mins omg. In the end my mom just gave him a lot less than the amount there was on the meter then left. It was still more than the price we paid to get to platinum from our hotel though. But whatever haha.

Haha my siblings were quite pissed that we took so long to get back but we didn't mean it :( hehe then it was time to go swimming!! I wore this new swim wear i got from platinum cause i didn't bring any to BKK haha.

It rained the moment we reached the lobby?? SO SAD. So we just waited at this little sheltered area for the rain to stop. Hehe ordered drinks and food while waiting!!

SATAYY. So good but only so few pieces :(

Then the rain subsided but there was still a slight drizzle lah. But we just decided to go swim LOL.

GOOD VIBES. But damn troublesome cause, there are a few diff pools and they aren't connected. So everytime we wanted to switch pools we had to get out and go back in haha. But it was still fun HEHE. We kept trying weird stuff LOL like one person carrying two people ands stuff. YAY I always have fun with my two crazy friends :D  

Then my mom came and took pics of us hahaha. Just gonna post one cause, the rest are quite unglam :P

Went back up to shower and stuff, then it was time for dinner!! 

Had dinner at another atas food place at siam paragon HAHA. Omg i can't wait to explore new places the next time i go!!

Soft shell crab with black pepper pasta!! The crab was really good but the pasta was a bit bland tbh!! HEHE SO THAT CONCLUDES DAY 2.

Day 3

Last day!! I told you we really went there to do nothing HAHAHA. Like, nothing much :P Ps if you noticed we didn't take a lot of photos haha. Cause there was really nothing much to take photos of! Kay except the food maybe but most of the time i forget to take pics cause i'm too hungry HAHA.

FIRST THING WE DID: THAI MASSAGE!! YAYY. I WAS SO EXCITED. For some reason LOL.

IT WAS SO PAINFUL. Hahaha idk why i was so excited omg. I DIED. It was damn painful i think next time i should just stick to foot massages haha. I can still close my eyes and chill during a foot massage but this full body massage was so intense :P Not really meant for me LOL but it was still fun hehe.

Next we went to this random park called Dinosaur Planet!! The attractions are quite interesting haha but there are no legit rides LOL. Like they only have one ferris wheel which wasn't even open that day but it's okay cause i don't really like sitting on ferris wheels anyway!!

There were random 'human dinosaurs' walking around HAHA so we just took pics with them!!

This is an unfriendly dinosaur cause it knocked my cap off!! (insert angry face emoji) SIGH. Haha it's part of one of the attractions! We didn't know lol but later we found out when we went for it!

I can't recall all the attractions we went for but this was one of them! Another one was like a 4D ride if i'm not wrong? Like you sit in this enclosed space then there are screens on both sides and there'll be some drama about a dinosaur attacking and stuff then our seats with shake and all! IT WAS NOT BAD. This museum thing was not bad too haha.

This part was quite cool!! So like here they have a fake dino lab and stuff and there's a fake baby dinosaur haha. Then all of a sudden the alarm rings and everyone is asked to squat down :O I was damn scared that smth would suddenly enter?!

SO IT WAS A T REX. I had to take a snap haha.

Then we ventured into this area with a lot of dinosaur figures!! They move slightly haha.

So I shall talk about my fav attraction for the day hahaha. We didn't really know what 'ride' this was or whatever but the staff just told us smth like "oh starting in 1 min" so we just went in!! Then turns out it was this like mission thing. So they put us in this carriage thing then played the background story and all. So we were supposed to find some key within 4 mins in order to escape from a raptor attack. So okay haha we went out and started roaming around the area.

Then suddenly a raptor appeared?! I WAS NOT EXPECTING IT. This was the second time we went so i was alr anticipating it haha. The first time we went i was too freaking scared to video or whatever LOL my siblings and i ran all the way to this narrow opening and just hid there?? Then the staff told us to come out HAHA cause we weren't supposed to be inside LOL. I can't believe we were that scared hahaha. BUT IT LOOKED SO REAL (KINDA). And it's like, if you're not expecting it it's legit scary haha.

I love this part HAHA some China woman was being chased by the raptor so she ran in and grabbed my arm and was like "AH JIU MING AH" as you can hear from the vid LOL. I WAS SO AMUSED. But i wasn't exactly judging her cause the first time i went i was almost as scared as her hahaha.

After awhile we ran out of stuff to do so we went to check out the merchandise store!! Then we came here HAHA. This is becoming so common LOL. But i still have a lot of fun with it :P

Haha after this my mom came to pick us up!! Then she brought us to some dessert place nearby hehe.

Thai iced tea flavoured bingsu!! NOT BAD.

YAY then we had our last meal at Siam Paragon and it was so good!! We devoured everything really quickly so there was barely any time for photos haha. But this prata with green curry was ON POINT.

So yeap that's all for my BKK trip!! IT WAS DAMN CHILL RIGHT. HAHAHA. Can't wait to go to BKK again in Dec with Andy's family :D YAYY i'm sure it'll be a lot more happening haha. And i get to go overseas with Andy again :D IT'LL BE OUR 3RD OVERSEAS TRIP TGT. Yeah but it's still quite a long way from now haha.

Okay gonna skip to 21 June!! Cause i blogged about the other days alr haha. 

Finally met up with the TWC group!! Missing Joy though :( But yay it was really nice meeting them hehe we talked a lot!! I never really thought we were thatt close but i still feel super comfortable with all of them :D So yeap it was a good meet-up!!

After this Nic came over to my house! She taught me how to play some stuff on the ukulele HEHE. IT WAS SO FUN. I'm such a noob though i think my hands aren't suitable for playing the guitar/uke ah well. But nvm i'll just keep practicing and we'll see what happens!! After that we went for prac tgt!

I went for Kscope BV in the morning! It was at Potong Pasir CC haha so i felt quite nostalgic cause it's so near SA!! And the CC is right next to the KFC that we used to always go to HAHA. The BV was super chill and we met quite a few freshies there!! We even had lunch with some of them! They were all really nice haha and over the 3 BVs we got to know them quite well! So we kinda requested for some of them to be in our clan hahaha but in the end they made them mix around lah :P 

YAY then Andy came to Potong Pasir to meet me hehe. And we had lunch at this hawker centre that we always went to!!

Then we went to City Square to catch Finding Dory! I WAS SOO EXCITED FOR IT OMG.

IT WAS SO GOOD!! YAYYY ONE OF MY FAV MOVIES. Hehe i'm not even kidding!! Haha i cried so much omg. The seashell scene was damn touching!! :'( LOVED IT. I really thought was the perfect combination of like comedy and heart (not sure if this is fitting word to use) hehe.

Then it was time for dinner!! He smiled in the next pic haha but i'm just gonna post this cause he looks so funny LOL

I probably went for prac after this!! This entire summer is like, 3/4 samba LOL. Okay realistically speaking like really half of my summer was taken up by Samba :P

26 June

The day i dyed my hair!! YEAP finally got rid of my blonde hair haha. I liked it while it lasted but i got damn sick of it at the same time :P Really felt like it was time to revert back to brown!! Hehe so i went to this hair salon at Crown Centre to dye it! My mom recommended that place so i trusted her judgement and just went HAHA.

It turned out too dark?? SIGH. I was quite shocked when the guy was done like whatt this isn't the colour i asked for :P BUTT IT DID LIGHTEN A LOT. Like really a lot haha. Soo that's not so bad! :) I wanted a cool brown though like without any reddish tones but it turned out a bit reddish -.- I was quite specific leh like i asked him if it will fade to a reddish tone or smth he said NOPE but it kinda did :P I think only purple shampoo can save it haha.

Then i went to school for a quick rehearsal before the actual thing!! And after that we had a lot of time to just chill and do nothing LOL. Hehe so we went for an early dinner! :)

Then it was time to change and put on our face paint!! The yellow part really looks like the Adidas logo lol I REGRET. But i still kinda like the whole thing!! :)

Zixin is in the arts camp org comm so she didn't perform but we bumped into her :D AND TOOK PICS HEHE. SHE LOOKS SUPER GLAM OMG.

PERFORMANCE TIME!! I was feeling quite lethargic before the performance cause we were stuck in the SR for super long before they called us out LOL. But it was worth the wait eh really cause the vibes were really awesome and we were super eager to impress the freshies so we went ALL OUT!! IT WAS GREAT HEHE.

YAY thanks Ellice's friend for the pics hahaha i guess i'm lucky i stood next to her :P

Day 2 of dark hair and i soo wasn't used to it! When i woke up and looked at myself in the mirror i got a shock cause i forgot that i dyed my hair hahaha and it felt like i was wearing a wig or smth?! LOL. But this hair colour really complements fair skin hehe too bad i'm quite tan now if not it would look better on me!! Oh so it's too short for me to curl now so i just do these little 'C' curls now at the ends and i quite like them :D

That day i didn't do much just hung out at Andy's house if i'm not wrong!! We tried to spend more time tgt cause i was gonna leave for Germany in a few days :( Sigh but cause of Samba we couldn't spend that much time tgt also ah well. But we pulled through :D IT WASN'T THAT BAD.

Dk which day this was but i was excitedly trying on my samba jacket!! IT'S SO CUTE I WAS REALLY SO EXCITED TO WEAR IT. But it's in shit condition now after the 20-day trip :P

1 July

The day i left for Germany!! :/ I WAS SO SAD :( Andy got to stay over the prev night yay :D We just had Lola's for brunch then chilled afterwards cause i had to pack and prepare to leave and stuff :( BUT I REALLY ENJOYED THE FOOD AT LOLA'S :D It was like my 4th/5th time there?? Too obsessed omg.

Ordered their mushroom toast!! Hmm i didn't like that they added the egg though :/

You can tell my hair is lighter alr haha. It got much lighter in just a few washes!!

YEAPP SO THAT'S ABOUT ALL. I'll blog about Germany and Kscope later i think! Wanna do more updates first because i tend to forget the details and stuff soo yeap. I won't really forget what i did in Germany and for kscope so i think those can wait? Yeahh haha. I'm still so sad that i only posted once last month :( Ah well. Can't help it i guess cause i was overseas for almost the whole of Jult haha. I will try to update again soon okay!! SCHOOL IS STARTING I CAN'T BELIVE IT. This summer really flew by!! I can't believe i almost went for more camps haha i would've died eh. I don't understand how people can go for like 3/4 camps?! AS FACIS. That's really crazy omg. But yeah i had a fulfilling summer haha quite excited for next sem (even though i kinda screwed up my bidding LOL) I shall work hard and manage my time well!! Believe it or not i actually feel more relaxed and free during the school sem HAHA. IDK WHY. But yeap hopefully y2 will be good!! HEHE CYA SOON THEN :)
