HII YAY blogging again! I'm super behind haha but nvm i'll blog about some events in Feb and March first!! :) Still got Nic and Pearl's bday to blog about and some other stuff hehe.
Valentine's Day Celebration
So for like 4 years in a row we couldn't celebrate vday on the day itself and every time idk why i get super upset?! :( AH WELLZ but i realised that it's really nothing!! I MEAN, AS LONG AS WE GET TO CELEBRATE :)) At first it was just damn sian because 14th of Feb alr feels like some random day then you postpone it to another random day it just feels even more meaningless LOL. Haha but I got over it and we celebrated anyway! :D
NEW DRESS and my one and only Mac lipstick!! (all my lipstick look the same though :( )
So Andy made a dinner reservation at this place called "Table at 7"!! It was quite a small restaurant but had nice chill/classy vibes :) THE FOOD WAS SUPER GOOD.

So the menu is pretty interesting!! Like they have two main chefs and each of them specialise in a different type of cuisine, so there are like two different menus haha. It was European and like Indonesian food i think! So we ordered an appetiser and a main each, then we shared a dessert :D
This was their crispy toufu omelette thing!! As stated on their menu LOL but idk what's the actual Indonesian name of this dish haha. IT WAS SO YUMMY.
THIS IS SCALLOP. HAHAHAHA. We got a shock when it came. Like "huh this is scallop meh" :P Then we even went to ask the waiter if he got our order right haha. Then he said this is the scallop haha. IT WAS REALLY GOOD THOUGH. Like scallop sashimi!! YUMZ.
Andy ordered this crispy pork dish!! IT WAS SO GOOD. It's like super crispy on the outside then the pork itself is really tender and flavourful :D

Haha pretty random but so Remode suggested this bbq place that they found at Bugis so we had dinner there!! :)
The food was affordable and really good for the price!! :) There was a live band too which made it a bit hard to talk cause it was kinda noisy LOL but it was still fun :D

Hj is damn good at this basketball game?! I CANNOT. We also played fooseball and car racing HEHE.
Consumer Behaviour (CB) focus group
So CB was pretty stressful cause idk why my group is quite unproductive even though everyone is interested in the proj :( we were supposed to come up w a new strategy for a laggard brand and we changed our product a couple of times :O Finally we decided on beer and found that two other groups chose Carlsberg beer also?! LOLOL. Anyway this is the focus group we held hehe. Even though we didn't do v well in the end it was still nice working w this bunch :)
It was so hard to get people to come for the focus group haha but Ode the popz kid managed to get like 5-6 people?!

Haha school this sem was super chill lah i was mostly preoccupied with planning my bday :P Esp towards the end of the sem LOLOL. I'm surprised i still scored decently but right now i'm really more concerned about my skills? I will talk more about it later on HAHA.
Andy and my bro's birthday!
SO ANDY IS 21. Haha he had work and i had school so i could only meet him for dinner!! He's working w my dad at CarTimes now haha so funny. My dad can be tough to deal w but i'm proud of him for putting in his best effort anyway :D

We ordered a few dishes to share if i'm not wrong! Idk if we just ordered these two haha but i don't think so?? Anyway the food was good :D But the place was a little squeezy and not as atas as the places that he usually brings me to for fancy dinners haha.
SO CUTE. Yay bought him a cake from Cedele before meeting him!! It's sea salt caramal cheesecake if i'm not wrong haha and it was so yummy :D Wanted to let him try a diff type of cheesecake haha.
So my fam was having dinner w my bro at Paragon so Andy walked there w me!! He didn't feel like joining cause he thought it would be awkward :( But it's okay!! Hehe so we sat here first and i let him open his present :D I GOT HIM CONTACTS; Hahaha so people have been saying that he should wear contacts and he was also considering it! So i'm glad i got it for him :)

So we had dinner at Crystal Jade!! MY BRO IS 15 NOW :O Haha he's been getting so many compliments lately?! Like from my friends who say that he's cute or from random people LOLOL.

Yay family photo! My aunt's long-time friend (Aunty Katherine) who lives in Paris happened to be in Sg so she joined us!! Haha yeap that's all :) My bro didn't want anything fancy also so this was his only bday celebration haha. He didn't plan anything w his friends :P
Day before VOS
So we rehearsed SUPER LONG for VOS and there was a lot of hype and everything but somehow i wasn't that excited hahaha. I THINK I AM JUST TIRED :P I've been in Samba for too long HAHAHA. But of course i still had fun!! Another thing that made me look forward to it less was that VOS clashed w Andy's bday celebration!! :( So i had to rush down after the second last performance! And i decided to skip the last performance because it was just w my conductor's band LOL and i don't like the song anyway hahaha. But everything turned out pretty alright :)
I'm in the manpower team so i BOUGHT THE "V O S" BALLOONS. HAHA THEY WERE HUGE WTS. Luckily i managed to get a $1 grab ride from bugis to sch hehehe.
HAIR STYLING TEAM. We were in charge of curling everyone's hair!! HAHA YAY. It's like a pretty slack but useful job :P
So everyone slowly changed and got ready in preparation for our full dress rehearsal!! IT TOOK SO LONG. And when everyone was ready Budi's band took super long to do sound check zzz waste our time?! We only ended up starting at like 5/6pm if i'm not wrong when we reported much earlier than that!!

So i was super hungry from waiting for our turn to practice and since Remode was in sch i asked them if they could lend me some money HAHA. Cause my wallet was in the holding room :P
YAY so ode came to the rescue!! SO SWEET HEHE.
Then after awhile it was FINALLY time to rehearse. We rehearsed till like late at night! As tired as i was i had fun playing the new Samba!! The seniors were full of praises for us?! They kept saying we played it damn well which was so heartening cause it was a pain to rehearse HAHA. Like there is a lot to rmb and initially Bryan (our choreographer) cause that it was too heavy :( Haha so i'm glad they like it!! (even though the lay-man prob didn't like it that much haha)

REPORTED SUPER EARLY for the actual VOS :P I can't rmb what happened exactly but we all had to meet at "The Basement", haha it's a room in SMU! So we slowly got ready and prepared for the parade rehearsal!

The parade was quite meh IMO hahaha. Idk why but it didn't sound v good and there wasn't that much hype :P The juniors sounded good though!! :D SO PROUD OF THEM HEHE.

Gil came to support!! We barely got to talk to her but so sweet of her to come and she bought us cookies AWWW. I love how 'motherly' she is hehe she still calls us her kids :P Oh and Ode bought me milk too?! She passed it to one of my juniors to pass to me!! :') MAJOR BROWNIE POINTS HAHAHA so touched eh.
Before da night show!! YAY they managed to drop by :)) Remus was busy studying for his interview haha. I thought they would leave pretty early cause they'd be bored but they stayed for most of it so i'm v moved hehe.
Mummy took photos and videos!! THIS IS US PLAYING SAMBA. There was an all-girls reggae item but i was like all the way behind and my friends actually observed that i didn't bother smiling so much HAHAHA. Cause it takes so much effort to smile while moving?! SOOO i only forced myself to smile when i stood in front HAHA and they noticed that too :P

YEAP so my mom came to pick me and send me to Village Hotel!! :) SO THANKFUL FOR MUMMY. So i rushed up to meet everyone!!
THIS WAS THE SET-UP :D Got the cake from Kailin (weilin's older sister) who bakes!! Really appreciate the effort she took the bake and decorate the cake hehe. It was a bit pricey but worth it imo :D I quickly changed and came out to join them too!!

So we cut the cake then pretty soon after Sammi and Shiuan had to leave!! :( So it was left w Ky, Ws, Yh, St, Terence, Kahyen and Ben!
YAY WE HAD FUN. Played nasty pong haha which was really quite nasty LOLOL but v fun and entertaining :D
So we played king's cup and everything and honestly we didn't drink that much but look at who is the first to toh :P HAHAHA FUNNY SIA. He didn't even drink that much?? But he was so sleepy and wasted throughout the rest of the night. HAHA AH WELL. Luckily nobody forced me to drink too much and i didn't kena a lot also hehe.
So the sleeping arrangement was Ws and the girls inside (not all on the same bed LOL) and Andy and i slept outside in the 'living room'!! It was a suite so there was quite a lot of room for everyone even though outside didn't have proper beds haha. But the sofa had a lot of space!!
In the morning when i woke up all the girls had left?! I WAS SO SAD :(( It felt like a one night stand HAHAHA. Cause they were all rushing to do stuff!! YEAHH so it was just Andy, Ws and I. When Andy and i got up we had to wait for Ws to wake up before leaving :P Haha i think we woke him up eventually?? Can't rmb but he was angst hahaha.

ALRIGHT SO THAT'S ALL FOR NOWW. Guess what it's the 14th of May :D Haha my birthday hasn't been super smooth-sailing (because i kept making it miserable for myself) but I did have so many happy and enjoyable moments that I am more than thankful for!! I still know that i'm v v blessed :') HEHE WILL BLOG ABOUT IT SOON. But till next time!! :)
