CNY 2016 :)

HIII i'm so sad i haven't blogged in forever :( Haha but i said i'd blog about CNY so here it is!! IT'S ACTUALLY NOT OVER YET YAYY :) So i'll start from our early reunion dinner!! :)

3 February, Wednesday

We had an early reunion dinner with  my aunt cause she was flying off to UK to accompany my cousin!! Haha so i went to meet Andy first then we made our way to Paragon tgt :D

He didn't know what to wear but honestly it's not that important lah haha

So we had a super good dinner with super good food!! Look at how big these prawns are :O They looked even bigger in rl haha.

7 February, Sunday

My aunt wasn't around but we had a small, cosy reunion dinner anyway! :) My cousins, grandparents and uncle came over haha it was really nice. I preferred this reunion dinner actually :P

My bro accepted my cousin's challenge which is to finish the yakult in one gulp hahaha and he FAILED LOL.

ONCE MORE YAYY. This yu sheng was a bit dry though haha kinda weird but it was still tasty!!

Then we just started hanging around and i played some lame game with my cousins and siblings haha. It's like someone must stand from afar holding a book and from a certain position we have to try and throw the ball such that it hits the book!! LOL it's a lot harder than it sounds. We started keeping score and reducing the size of the book as time passed haha damn funny :P

So yeap it was a really cosy and nice dinner (i said this alr LOL) and i was really looking forward to the following day :D

8 February, Monday

Andy had to go back to camp at the start of the day?! What even. His OC is terrible....ah well but he still managed to get to my house before my family got changed HAHA. We are too slow :P

Then it was time to bai nian!! GOT THIS ROMPER FROM CAROUSELL. It's a romper not a dress :P I REALLY LIKE IT HEHE. Credits to @andlimey

It's our yearly tradition to take pics while we bai nian haha. But i think from next year onwards we should start taking more videos instead!!

BRO'S TURN. We played scissors paper stone to determine the order LOL.

Then they started playing mahjong!! And we just played taidi and bridge in the room for awhile haha. Haven't played black jack this year :O Cause after this i went off with Andy to go to his relative's house! My dad kindly sent us there :D

It was really awkward cause we realised that my dad was driving directly behind Andy's family LOL. Haha and my dad being himself just got off the car and went to socialise with them :P But they didn't really talk lah haha it was v brief!! He said they're nice people though hehe that's good :)

IT WAS AWKWARD AT FIRST LOL. Andy barely introduced me to anyone cause he didn't even know them v well?! Like he doesn't even know how some people are related to him :P And he barely talks to them so it was just...weird. Haha but it got better afterwards!! Then we were just playing cards again and watching videos haha.

Haha we didn't stay for very long. Awhile later Andy's aunt and uncle brought us to coffee bean for tea :D So nice of them to treat all of us!! :) This was including all of Andy's cousins haha. 

Hehe i always enjoy talking to them! They're v v nice :)

SOOO we went our separate ways haha. We went to Orchard i think. I looked at some shops (cause i was really in the mood to shop) but i didn't buy anything haha. Eventually we had dinner at nam nam before meeting my family for a movie!! :D OUR DAY WAS SUPER LONG.

YUMZZ IT WAS SO GOOD. People say nam nam is overrated but i can see why people like it haha. Looking at this pic makes me feel like eating nam nam again :P

So we met my family at lido and watch The Monkey King 2!! :) IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. Not the kind of movie that Andy usually watches haha but it's much much better than the prequel alr!! The prequel was just...a waste of time. Haha but i did enjoy this even though there was some loopholes :P So the movie lasted till 11+ :O So we quickly made our way home!!

9 February, Tuesday

WOKE UP AT 8 FOR DIM SUM. I was sooo tired cause i barely had any sleep the prev night :O I think i couldn't fall asleep or smth haha not sure lah. But yeah i wasn't feeling too good physically but i was still in a good mood :)

Went to the same dim sum place as we did last year! But the service was really disappointing :O The food took super long to come lol then when we wanted to place another order (cause Andy's cousins order too little for us) they didn't allow it :( And they still wanted us to leave by a certain time lol. Ah well but i was sufficiently full lah haha. Andy and Terence were quite annoyed at their cousins for leaving without us and not ordering enough food :P Haha i can see why but i guess i'm not really in a position to be upset at them cause i don't really know them.

Hehe then as we were leaving the 4 of us took pics!! :)

I bought this skirt at the last min from TCL!! Haha i quite like it but it looks super crumpled here :P

They wore the same shirt just in diff sizes LOL

If i remember correctly we went home to rest for awhile before going back out to catch another movie!! Terence and Kahyen bought tix for the exact same show HAHA so we went there tgt! :) Kinda awkward though cause my family was there but nvm lah.

IT WAS SO FUNNY!! Hahaha i love stephen chow but sadly he didn't cast himself in the movie. It was v ridiculous though but doesn't matter i guess cause i still laughed a lot haha.

GUESS WHO I BUMPED INTO?? THIS IS ZIXIN FROM MY SECTION. Haha idk who is reading this but yeah i shall just say it. So coincidental hehe she looks so good in her colourful dress! :) So we took a pic tgt then she had to go!

Then we went back to Lavender to have dinner with Andy's parents :) shuffling between two families is tough LOL. OUR LIVES NEXT TIME :O

Had dinner at a casual western restaurant! Hehe so sweet of Andy's mom to treat us :)

Kahyen and I both changed into home clothes just to feel more comfortable hahaha. I WAS SICK OF MY OUTFIT BY THEN. THE DAY WAS TOO LONG :P Hehe here's us at NTUC!! Then at usual at night Andy's dad sent us home :) 

SO THAT CONCLUDES THE FIRST 2 DAYS OF CNY. Sorry this is so brief haha. It was a tiring two days but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves :D 

So what's happening now is that Andy's in Bali with his sec sch friends and i couldn't go cause of samba :( But production is coming up so that's smth to look forward to!! :D Still bummed about how ex the tickets are though :P IT'S $24. It's like really not worth it ah well...so sad haha. I guess we just have to work hard to put up a good show so the audience will think it's worth it! :) YEAPP. SOO IT'S RECCESS WEEK. I'm glad we have a break and some time to study haha. Samba will take up 4/7 of my week but it's okay lah haha. All towards putting up a good show which hopefully we will!! 

OH AND, i signed up to be a faci for a few camps!! Haha i hope i get into at least 1? I really want to try being a faci at least once in my life!! HAHA UNI IS THE TIME. Toly convinced me to try for bondue faci with him though SIGHHH i didn't want it but no choice cause he can't find anyone else and the rest of the group signed up :( SOO I FELT BAD and decided to just try for fun!! Don't really think we will get in but who knows what's God's plan for me :D It might turn out to be a good decision haha. Alright so that's about it! Idk when i'll blog again haha nothing much is happening but i might just give brief updates when i'm free :) Hehe kay CYA THEN!
