Hi everyone i'm back!! YAY gonna blog about the trip now :) Hehe so it's my first overseas experience with friends and it was truly AWESOME. I feel bad cause previously i kinda kept comparing this trip to Andy's trip with his sec sch friends :( Kinda felt like i needed to have more fun or smth LOL which was really stupid. So i decided that there's really no point comparing! They are two independent trips and i'm glad that i didn't let my thoughts about the prev trip ruin this one. Hehe so i shall begin!!
21 April, Thursday
So on WEDNESDAY evening, Andy came over and the plan was for him to stay over then we'd head to the airport tgt at 1ish! Oh and Toly came to my house to so we could all cab tgt :D Haha so yeah we had an early dinner and wanted to catch some sleep before the flight. Sooo we tried sleeping at like 7+ HAHAHA. He slept in my sister's room then i slept in my own room. LOL it was impossible to sleep?! I honestly thought he fell asleep right away cause he seldom has problems sleeping haha. Then at 9ish i was still awake lol so i gave up and went outside then i saw my bro and he was like "oh Andy just came out 5 mins ago to go to the toilet" so that's when i realised he couldn't sleep either HAHAHA. So i went to find him then we both gave up on trying to sleep :P Ended up just watching Flash HAHA. In the end we did manage to sleep for about hour or so! Toly took the last bus to my house then at 1.45am we went to the airport tgt :D
We were kinda hungry so we went to Burger King!! THEN THE REST CAME. Here's Hj and Mt HAHAHA at first Andy mistook this other couple who were holding hands for them. Turned out Hj wasn't even standing HAHA he was just enjoying his ride LOL. SO CUTE.
Ode and Remus came so after we were done eating we made our way to the departure hall!! Omg i don't remember if i ever booked a flight at such a weird timing LOL. I was legit damn tired :O But still really excited!! Yeah and i didn't bother putting on my contacts haha i expected myself to sleep on the plane and in the car later on!!
YAY GROUP PIC :) As you can see there is a 7th wheel in this pic but we are not 3 couples + 1 lightbulb we are 7 friends!! :D HAHAHA poor Toly omg i felt bad but i'm glad that he still had fun!! :) SO Andy and i bought the check-in thing haha the limit was 20kg but my luggage was like less than 10kg ZZZ. Waste money haha oops.
YAY 2ND OVERSEAS TRIP TGT :D I'm really so glad that he went omg. Haha so the flight was alright! It passed rather quickly but i couldn't sleep :(( As in i kinda slept but i was super uncomfortable LOL. Whichever side i lean my neck will hurt ZZZ. Andy didn't even sleep haha he was either reading or watching some show that he downloaded :P Idk why he didn't feel like sleeping it's so unlike him HAHA.
So we arrived safely in Bali and the villa people arranged for a driver to pick us up!! :) MUST THANK TOLY FOR ARRANGING EVERYTHING. He did most of the planning and stuff cause he's Indonesian haha. He also helped us book the villa and hire a driver!! MANY THANKS :')
So we arrived in our lovely villa!! :) SO EXCITING. There were 3 rooms so each couple took one room and Toly crashed with Meita and Hong Joo hahaha. It wasn't weird though i mean the rooms are just to sleep anyway LOL.

I was EXHAUSTED and it was still pretty early!! The first thing on our itinerary was WATERBOM!! It's a water theme park HEHE. So yeah i really needed energy for that haha so since it was still quite early some of us slept first! Andy again didn't sleep?! WHAT. Haha towards the end of the day he totally died :P
So i woke up after 1h and got ready to leave for Waterbom!! :) I was super disorientated when i got up HAHA but afterwards i was fine :D

He bought this from his prev trip haha i think it looks good on him! :)
So before Waterbom we had to grab lunch first!! So the driver recommended this place to us i think. THE FOOD WAS YUMMY HEHE. But most of it was really spicy HAHA. LOL like 1/2 of our meals were super spicy so we had to keep ordering this drink called "Tehbotol", it's red tea and it's super good i love it hehe. During on of our meal we ordered 15 Tehbotols in total :O
THEIR SATAY. It's quite interesting haha it's like v sweet but also quite spicy!!
SO WE MADE OUR WAY TO WATERBOM. I got no pics cause i decided not to bring my phone with me even though i had the waterproof handphone case haha. I got lazy haha. Omg the rides in waterbom are really fun!! AND THE QUEUES...so much shorter than those in Adventure Cove! IT WAS SUPER WORTH IT HEHE. 3 rides had a free fall element to it. Like you'll stand in this cylindrical thing, then you're standing on a small platform and they'll count "3..2..1" and the platform will open and you'll free fall for a few moments :O SUPER SCARY BUT FUN. I'm proud of myself for trying the highest one haha. It's an extremely steep and high slide!! So the first part was the free fall haha. Ode and Meita didn't wanna go so i just went with the guys and i was the first to go?! LOL. Surprisingly it wasn't as scary and it looked haha. So i was relieved YAY :D
There are a lot more rides but i'm too lazy to explain all of them haha but basically they were all really FUN :D
Then it was time to leave!! We didn't have any shower stuff with us and i think we wanted to kinda save time also so we all just rinsed and changed into a fresh set of clothing haha.

It's a really nice but commercialised beach. So it was super crowded and quite dirty tbh :/ Haha we were there to see the sunset but sadly it was too cloudy didn't manage to see it! However, i still really liked the view :)

& finally it was time to eat!! I WAS REALLY HUNGRY. Haha i think the driver recommended this dinner place? But i know Toly ate here before! It was a chill and pretty-looking place :) They sold all types of food haha, like western and even jap food if i rmb correctly. But i wanted Indo food!! So Toly recommended that i order Nasi Campur, it's like a dish with a lot of random stuff HAHA.
HERE IT IS. I enjoyed it i thought it was really good!! Mine was with Babi guiling which is pork haha. But again it was a bit too spicy for me :P Hehe but i had my yummy avocado drink to ease the spiciness! The drink was really super good i loved it :D Ps my vocab for food super limited :(

So we made our way back to the villa and we drank for a bit haha then we couldn't take it so we went straight to sleep!! I was taking awhile to fall asleep but Andy just toh-ed HAHA. He didn't sleep at all the entire day :O Suddenly i noticed that it got super hot so i got up to check the aircon then i heard this knocking at my door. It was Remus and Ode haha they told me there was a power shortage :O LIKE WHAT EVEN. Toly was still awake so the 4 of us waited tgt for the power to come back on!! Toly called the person-in-charge then at first she told us to wait so we thought help was on the way. We waited for quite awhile and eventually she just told us to key in some code to turn the power back on LOL. Could've told it to us earlier -.- After the power came back i still took awhile to sleep ZZ. But i still slept well lah haha. I think i had sufficient sleep for the next day :D Hehe so that concludes day 1 of our trip :)
Day 2
YAY so day 2 was even more happening!! First up, water sports at Tanjong Benoa beach! :)

The driver came and drove us to the place!! It was pretty far but the journey wasn't too long if i remember correctly haha.
There was still super long bridge-like thing haha it was quite cool so i took a vid! Stupid Remus in the background pretending to be some tour guide LOL.
So we arrived!! Ps the pics quite blur cause i was using the waterproof phone cover haha so yeah there was like a protective layer over my phone which blurred the pics slightly.
Thanks to our indo prince we paid A LOT LESS for the water activities!! Initially each of them were around $20-40 but then his dad knows the owner of the place so he just gave a call to his dad and suddenly the prices were like $5, $7.50, $13?! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. So that's how much they're cheating us of lol. HEHE YAY so glad we saved all that money!! :)

Then there's us but i look so awkward here :(
FIRST ACTIVITY: BANANA BOATING! YAY it was so fun haha. When we first got on i was scared alr cause it didn't look v stable :O It's like you can just fall off any moment haha. So we just held on super tightly!! No one fell lah but we just kept screaming as as you can tell from the vid HAHA. It's quite funny :P
Then we went on the donut and flying fish!! We took turns haha. So Andy, Hj, Mt and I sat the donut first then Toly, Ode and Remus took the flying fish! DONUT WAS REALLY FUN. It's similar to banana boat except you sit in a circular thingy haha. I kept flying off the float omg if i didn't hold the thing i'd just topple into the ocean FOR SURE. Flying fish was unique but some parts it was quite boring cause we were like just floating haha. Only when you go up then it's really cool!
Last activity was parasailing!! YAY MY FIRST TIME. I was really excited hehe.
This is me looking super noob SIGH. We were supposed to run a bit before we took off haha but i think i didn't run fast enough or smth?? Haha it was so scary cause suddenly i felt a super hard pull then before i knew it i was in the sky :O But the entire thing only lasted like 1 min?? It was super short LOL. Thank goodness we didn't pay like $30/40 for it.
Then the guys wanted to sit donut again!! And ask the driver to go even faster :O It was alr super fast the first time haha. They wanted to fall into the ocean or smth LOL so we let them go by themselves then the 3 of us sat separately! But when we went it was also super fast?! Much faster than the first time round!! I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT I WAS GONNA FALL. Haha but we didn't fall lah and the guys didn't fall also!! Toly told the guy to go faster but he forgot to tell him not to go faster for our turn :P SO YEAP both were really fast! But it was more fun lah haha.
Hehe so finally it was time to leave!! My eyes are extra tiny here & actually i look really unglam but i still like this pic haha.
Then it was time for lunch!! I didn't change haha i only rinsed cause we were still gonna head to Pandawa beach! SO THIS IS TEHBOTOL. Sigh i wish i brought some back to Sg :( We had babi guiling for lunch!! According to Toly, for this dish they cook and serve every single part of the pig :O Hehe and it was really good!! But again too spicy for me :( I was really struggling to finish it haha but it was so yummy i didn't wanna stop. So i just kept ordering Tehbotol haha. Hehe so from here we made our way to Pandawa :)
HANDS DOWN MY FAV BEACH OF THE TRIP. Look at how pristine the water is!! The last time Andy was here there weren't a lot of people but this time it was really really crowded :( SIGH. Hopefully the next time i visit it it won't be a dirty and messy beach like Kuta. Ode and Remus had to go buy smth so Toly followed them! Meita and Hj didn't wanna kayak first so Andy and I went ahead haha.
YAY FINALLY GOT TO KAYAK TGT :) The last time he was here the waves were a lot stronger so him and Ws kept capsizing :O I was super scared of capsizing haha but i saw that the waves were quite chill so after awhile i wasn't so paranoid. I like my Nike cap even though it's v basic haha (everyone is wearing white caps nowadays omg) luckily we didn't capsize if not it'll get really dirty :( Can you believe i randomly found it at home haha, it's quite old though cause the material v cui alr.

HI ANDY. It was super chill and relaxing hehe i really enjoyed it :) The view made it ten times better! If we went kayaking in Sg i think it wouldn't be as cool haha.
Then we discovered this stray piece of land further up!! When Andy was here the water level was higher so it completely covered this up. Haha so we decided to stop here to take a few pics and stuff! The corals were quite gross though omg we were barefooted so no choice must step on it and it was quite slimey and prickly :P Then we notice some black, weed-looking thing which was MOVING. They were all over :O Then we realised that they were starfish haha.

Then Ode and Remus came haha so we helped each other take photos!! :)
Haha after this we went back into the sea! They were wearing slippers so they stayed much longer than us haha, i couldn't stand stepping on the corals anymore :P
The entire sea was really shallow! Like when we tried sticking our oars into the water it could touch the bottom! So when we were closer to shore Andy decided to just get off and take off his life jacket HAHA.

After this we returned our kayak and joined the rest!! Toly brought his frisbee haha so we were happily playing frisbee in the sea :D It's super troublesome to fetch the frisbee when it doesn't land at the right spot LOL. Haha but somehow it's a lot more fun playing in water compared to playing on land!
Towards the end i didn't feel like playing anymore i decided to snap a video :D My phone batt was dying omg so i was trying super hard to conserve it haha. Hehe so after this we left Pandawa!! I felt a lot dirtier compared to ytd cause ytd the water at Waterbom was a lot cleaner. This time it was salt water so it was super gross but again we didn't bring shower stuff haha. So we just rinsed and changed!!

Our driver suggested we take a jump shot so we did!! HAHA I LOVE IT IT'S SO CUTE.
Next stop: Uluwatu Temple! We wanted to catch the sunset there but again it was super cloudy so we couldn't see anything haha.
Had to wear these saris! This is such a nice pic :) Oh btw, Andy's singlet got stolen at Pandawa HAHA so he had to buy a new one!! So sad haha. It was a nice singlet :P
It was a really pretty place :) The monkeys there are super wild though :O Like they kept rummaging the place for food and they're smart enough to know how to open bottles and stuff. And they steal people's phones :O
Stayed here for quite awhile then decided that we shouldn't wait for the sunset cause we wouldn't get to see it HAHA. So we left!

On the way out we saw a monkey steal someone's phone!! :O Then this guy helped the person get it back by offering the monkey food haha. The monkey climbed up the tree omg then he threw the fruits up and the monkey let go of the phone and it dropped on the ground haha. The person damn lucky sia :P Hehe so we had dinner at Jinbaran Bay! It's known for dining on the beach haha. It was a really interesting experience! The place had a really good ambience and the seafood was DELICIOUS :D

SO PREETZ
There was a live acoustic band that went around playing songs for people! We had to tip them of course haha. They asked us where we were from so when we told them "Singapore" they played I'm Yours for us! SO NICEEE. I was v intrigued by their playing hehe they harmonise super well too!
So after that we finally made our way back to the villa!! Even though i was really tired i wasn't as tired as the prev night for sure cause i wasn't sleep deprived haha. So we bought beer and played drinking games in Remus and Ode's room! YAY as usual we laughed a lot and had a ton of fun :D But towards the end i was too tired to drink anymore. I felt super shitty haha what's neww. So when we got back to our room i felt asleep almost immediately. Oh and before i slept i went to the toilet for like 1 min and i was back Andy was fast asleep :O He was in super deep sleep OMG and he was snoring zz thank goodness i brought my earplugs :D
Hehe so that concludes day 1 & 2!! :) I'll move on to blog about day 3,4 and 5 soon! The last 3 days were a lot more chill haha but we still went to quite a lot of places :D Especially day 4 haha. Yay cya soon then!!
