HII. Sooo Andy booked in yesterday! It was an interesting experience but for the whole day i had to hold back my urge to cry :( Ugh it was horribleee. Even though i'm still glad i went for the camp tour and all. Oh well. I wish i wasn't so emotional!! Hehe but whatever it is i'm determined to get through this period :) So here goes!
4th Febuary
Went to his house at 9.30am and together with his parents we took the train all the way to Pasir Ris! I'm glad his dad decided to go haha it's a once in a lifetime thing for Andy after all! Yeah so it was a really long train ride haha. I think that was my first time at pasir ris :P We were damn early hahaha. So we just made our way to the bus interchange first and waited patiently!
THEN SOO MANY PEOPLE CAME :O And we didn't wanna join the queue at first cause it's like what's the rush haha. But then we realised we should've joined earlier cause it was damn crowded!! Haha so we had to go all the way to the back and wait for our turn to board the bus! We spotted a few SA people btw! But most of them we barely know :P
The bus ride was about 15 mins and then we reached the ferry terminal! The waves were really strong haha so i was quite dizzy!!
RECRUIT CHAN. Aww ijr he won't see this cause he's using an old phone :/ Haha they all had to tuck in their shirts!! Idk why though but it makes his waist look smaller which makes his build look much bigger haha not bad.

So finally we got to Tekong and the enlistees had to go elsewhere to do some admin stuff!! Like surrender their IC and all. So we had to part for awhile haha then they gave the parents/friends a tour around the camp! Sat in this bus and got to take a look at the whole place. Actually from afar it looks like a resort HAHAHA. SO MISLEADING. The facilities look not bad though :O It's just...i saw the obstacle course haha and it's kinda scary :P OH WELL.
And they showed us the bunks!! Andy's mom was saying that he shouldn't sit on top cause he's very clumsy hahaha, TRUE. They let us sit on the beds too! They're quite bouncy haha. Not so bad lah.
Then there was some static display thing haha. They showed us what the cadets would be getting and the type of food they'll be eating during field camp and stuff!
THIS WHOLE 'SUIT' IS 20KG :O I was so shocked when i heard it haha.
Then there was an exhibition!! Haha there were lots of pictures and then some guy came to give us a talk! He just briefly talked about what they'll be doing during the 9 weeks of BMT and elaborated on all the stuff that were there. And after they led us to the auditorium were all the enlistees were as well! I only realised that they were in the room too like halfway HAHA. And i went to the toilet first so i got separated from his parents. And just as i entered the place the LIGHTS DIMMED. I couldn't see properly omg and i just standing there thank goodness an officer directed me to where Andy's parents were haha. I must've looked stupid :P
Then there were two videos!! Which made army life seem pretty good haha. But i guess we all know that's not the case :P Haha then a sergeant came to give a talk and there was a Q&A session and stuff.

Then there was oath-taking!! We sat damn far behind and Andy was like in the third row haha but his mom and i still went all the way to the front to find him!! :P

All the parents though... hahaha and i was doing the exact same thing
Then they let the cadets meet their parents!! :)
HAHAHA HIS NEW IC LOL. He looks like he's about to murder someone?! I couldn't stop laughing!!
From here we made our way to the canteen where they FINALLY SERVED FOOD. I was starving cause i barely had anything for breakfast and by then it was like 2+ alr!! Haha the food was seriously not bad! I forgot to take a pic of it cause i was just too damn hungry haha. But yeah i'm impressed hehe. Andy keeps saying that that's the only time they serve nice food though :P
Yay then we went to take pics! :) Looking at this makes me feel a little bit emotional again :( Oh well. Anyway i seriously didn't know what to wear at first haha cause i thought shorts weren't allowed. So i just wore a skirt but then i realised a lot of people didn't even care about the dress code :P
After this i went to the toilet with his mom and to my horror when we got out the whole place was emptied alr :O Then we saw his dad calling us from afar so we quickly went up the them. And Andy could only give us a quick hug before rushing off to join the rest of the recruits :( It was like so sudden omg i was damn overwhelmed.
Could only watch him from afar!! He was like the last one to assemble :O I was tearing a bit at this point :( Apparently Andy noticed it haha. But i tried sooo hard to hold it in. It was awful :( Oh well. His mom kinda comforted me by putting her hand on me! Haha why am i so emotional :P

So after this i went back with his parents!! It wasn't awkward at all haha i'm amazed by how comfortable i feel around them! :) Then i gave them my number in case anything happens or smth haha. Yeap then i met Nic, Grace and Sher straight!! :)
It just nice 5 when i reached hehe and Grace was there alr so i met her first! I'm sounding rather enthusiastic now but at that point i still felt slightly depressed haha. Then we met Nic and we went to walk around while waiting for Sher! The actual meeting time was 6pm btw haha but Nic was out with her friend and Grace went straight from work so we were all early :P I ending up buying llao llao hehe. Bought the small cup again!! Kay just saying haha.
And finally Sher came so we made our way to Eighteen Chefs at the cathay! :)
Ordered the usual cheese baked rice :) Too bad i couldn't finish it cause it was full from yogurt!!
HAHAHA SHER. Idk why but Nic and Sher's food came wayyy earlier haha so by the time mine came Nic was like almost done eating :O Achievement unlocked she ate quicker than Sher today!! :P
After this we went to find somewhere to sit and talk!! :) Ended up at SOTA haha. IT WAS GREAT YAY we just kept chatting away and Nic couldn't help but share certain stuff with us hehehe. I am so excited for her!! But yeah halfway we realised how loud we were talking haha cause when we stopped we realised that actually the place is v quiet!! The people who walked past must have been judging us like crazy haha cause we were practically shouting :P

After this we all headed to the bus stop!! And my bus came first haha quite lucky. Yay so glad i met them :)) They made my day so much better haha. If not i would've just been sulking at home and feeling even more depressed :( Oh well. I hope i'll get used to this soon!!
When i got home i only managed to talk to Andy for like 10 mins? Ugh it was so sad. Like when he was finally free he had to bathe and after that we talked for a few more minutes then he had to sleep :/ Hmm but at least we talked for awhile? :) Better than nothing lah! I'm just so curious as to how he looks like without any hair!! He said he looks like an egg hahaha. HEHE I'LL SEE ON CNY! :) So that's about it :) Tried to sleep earlier that night cause i was starting work the next day!!
5 February
GOT UP AT 7.15AM TO GET READY. Omg it's crazy haha. Cause my dad was picking me up at 8am to go to work!! Yes i'm working in his company haha. But only for a short while!
My 'work attire' hahaha. I wanted to wear a black cardigan but my mom said no need so formal. They dress in a similar way there haha so i was relieved. Like i wasn't over or underdressed :) And if you were wondering i didn't request for these to be taken haha my mom wanted to help me take!!

Hehe it was not bad!! Like all the people there are v nice to me and i felt pressured cause i didn't wanna make mistakes but it's like, i have no reason to feel pressured haha. I figured that i was just stressing myself :P Although it didn't feel good to feel kinda lost haha. Like i had to help key in some stuff (which sounds simple) but i was so confused :O And the woman who was helping me had a half-day leave haha so i kinda panicked :P but the other staff who were around tried their best to figure it out for me! :) I really appreciated it haha.
I also attended my dad's meeting (like i just went in the see how it's like) and he is so stern towards his staff haha. I'm so not used to seeing that side of him!! It's like idek my dad that well or smth :P But it was interesting i guess! :) Afterwards i did some filing and at 3+ my mom came and at 5pm we left :)
So it was a decent first day of work :) I was quite tired though haha mainly cause i didn't sleep much last night!! I will try to sleep earlier today! Oh and we had sukiyaki for dinner at home :) SHIOKKK. Haha shall watch my hk shows now then (while waiting for Andy to call!). Hehe byee :)
