HII. I know this post is super random haha but as my close friends would know, i blog about my birthday EVERY YEAR and i didn't get the chance to do so last year cause of As!! SOOO i'll just VERY BRIEFLY blog about my 18th birthday :) Haha drafting this while i'm at work lol... :P I added the pics here a long time ago haha but never got down to actually blogging!!

This day we watched Merchant Of Venice and i definitely did not expect anything to happen haha.
POSTING THIS FOR FUN. Haha took this before leaving school!!
After the play Andy told me that we should go grab KOI or smth so okay we started walking to Dhoby! I found it weird when he made me walk to somewhere near Cathay then suddenly said we should walk back lol..and throughout he kept texting haha but i didn't suspect anything!! Then we came here and i saw two people with a balloon and candles who looked VERY FAMILIAR. Then i realised it was Pearl and Sotong!! HAHAHA i was super touched!!
MY HELLO KITTY CUPCAKES HEHE. Oh and the pic of the balloon is of Princess Sophia!! Hahaha.
And they got me a slice of cake too :') Sorry this is such a bad pic haha
YAYY and the yellow board is snakes and ladders hahaha with their messages written on it!! :') Taken by surprise every year by Sotong's novel birthday ideas haha.
Hehe yeap so awhile after we left!! Really really v grateful hehe for them hehe (& Andy too!!)
My mom picked me up and she helped me take these!! :) Haha i was carrying so many things. Hehe their efforts to surprise me every year is definitely appreciated!! :)

It was a public holiday i think?? Haha the plan was to just go out with Andy and celebrate my birthday in advance!! HEHE BUT I GOT A VV PLEASANT SURPRISE :)) I kinda had a feeling that i was gonna receive one though! So sorry to my friends for spoiling my own surprise haha. But yeah i knew smth was up cause my sis suddenly looked for me to make sure i was home :P And i could see them from the mirror when they first entered HAHAHA. They got stuck cause the flame on the candle went off so they had to slowly light it back!! SO FUNNY. Hehe but it was still a surprise lah! AND ONE THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE :))
YAYY RECEIVED BALLOONS AND FLOWERS :') Andy 'collaborated' with my friends again haha so proud!!
With Nic and Grace!! :) Thank goodness they waited for me to change before surprising me haha if not these pics would look a lot worse :P Sher wasn't free at that time so she didn't go!! Hehe but she turned up later! :)

Hehe then we made our way to Orchard for lunch!! :) I kept asking Andy where we were going/meeting and stuff but he was so vague lol...so that kinda cause me to suspect also haha. We ended up at PIQUE NIQUE! :) It's a really nice cafe!!
They insisted i bring the balloons out hahaha. For some reason i didn't feel weird carrying them around at all :P IT WAS MORE OF FUN :))

Ordered this and i can't describe how it tastes like alr cause i ate it too long ago hahaha but all i know is that i liked it!! :)
YAYY THEN SHER CAME :) They didn't tell me she was coming haha so it was like a SURPRISE IN A SURPRISE :) She cover my eyes from behind and started singing "Happy Birthday" and omg i'm so ashamed lol i couldn't recognise her voice hahaha. I WAS TOO SHOCKED. But yes i was touched that she came!! :)

They didn't let us cut the cake there haha so we went to the food court!! Not the best place for cake-cutting but it was good enough! :)

Haha after this i actually asked my aunt (who was nearby) to bring the cake home for me :P Cause i didn't want it to melt!! So yeah she saw my friends and Andy for awhile haha. Then the 3 of them left and Andy and I went to spend some quality time tgt ~ Did that sound weird haha i hope it doesn't :P Haha but we didn't spend v long tgt lah. Mostly just walked around if i rmb correctly! It was nice (as always)! :)
SELFIES FEAT. THE BALLOON!! Hehe so that was another day well spent! :) Just so glad i got to celebrate it with them cause at first they tricked me into thinking that they weren't free :( I rmb being so sad about it haha like my 18th birthday is gonna suck but yeap clearly i was wrong!! :)

My actual birthday!! Most of this day was spent in rehearsal haha. Cause it was right before production!! So yeah i was alr mentally preparing myself for it to be quite boring :P Haha but it was okay leh i rmb being v happy that day!! :) And at that point we were still doing basic preparations so it wasn't that intense? If i rmb correctly haha. So yeap after dinner my mom picked Andy and I up to go for dinner with my family!! :)
Hehe we ate at Angus House!! REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE. THE BEEF IS SUPERB. And i was really glad that most of my family members turned up! :) And Andy too haha i didn't expect my mom to invite him but yayy she did :) HERE'S ME AND MY BIRTHDAY CAKE. I know it looks like a princess cake haha. It didn't taste fantastic though but still super grateful to my mom for getting it for me!! ;)
YAY INDIVIDUAL PICS :) It's kinda sad that i didn't manage dress up or smth haha but i wasn't too bothered by it!! I ended up just letting my hair down to do A BIT to try and salvage the situation hahaha
Andy got to look good in front of my family though hahaha. Cause he had to wear contacts for production!!

HEHE YAYY. I rmb posting this on insta and it got sooo many likes (compared to my other pics) and comments. The comments were mostly about how cool my cake is haha :P SO YEAP THE DAY WAS STILL WELL SPENT :) Just really glad that i got to spend it with my family!! :)

Haha i thought to myself, "it's okay if my jc friends don't do anything for me" although i was kinda hoping that they would! AND THEY DID WHICH MADE ME FEEL REALLY TOUCHED :) I was satisfied with the birthday wishes actually haha so yeah this was a huge bonus!! :)
I caught them writing on the post-its hahaha so again i kinda suspected :P But it was still quite a successful surprise cause someone lied and said that chem was pushed up or smth haha. But it was just to make us go to this spot!! :P
LOVE YOU GUYS YAY :) Haha i kinda miss them now now that i'm looking at this!!
