Hi there!! It's been awhile since i've updated haha but i'm back :D First week of school has been rather boring :P I'm feeling super lazy omg like idw to study leh haha but i'm still determined to do well for this sem!! So yes it's time to translate that into action (muscle arm). I'm quite tired and i kinda feel like sleeping soon so i shall make this quick!
8th Jan, Friday
Met Pearl for lunch after her OCSP interview and after my first MC lesson!! I quite like my prof hehe she seems really nice and genuine and i feel like i'll really learn under her :D Like she makes it very clear why comms is important and i totally get her haha. I really want to improve the way i carry myself and improve on my language obviously :P Hehe so yeap we talked about her OCSP interview for awhile then we had lunch at Astons :D
Unfortunately i'm v v broke cause i'm waiting for my monthly pocket money and i'm too ashamed to ask my mom for money :O That's why we ate at Astons haha. But i totally ran out of money so now i just have to tank until the next $300 comes in :P
Anyway we talked a lot hehe and it was fun catching up with her!! Felt like we haven't met in awhile. I'm really hoping that we manage to get into the same OCSP haha. It would make things so much easier!! Although i acknowledge that OCSP is meant for you to step out of your comfort zone :P

Samba pracs have been quite different lately cause we're mainly focusing on choreo now! So Bryan (our choreographer) has been coming in a lot and our piece looks so abstract now HAHA. KIND OF :P Still not really comfortable with his dance moves but oh well i guess we just have to get used to them haha. And we've been ending at around 11 lately zz i think it'll stay that way for awhile. But it's okay i guess cause i understand why we overrun lah.
9th Jan, Saturday
YAY FINALLY GOT TO SEE ANDY. Haha i couldn't meet him on Friday night cause of prac so i could only meet him ytd (Saturday)! Hehe spent the first part of the day wandering around in town cause we had to find his bro a present!! In the end we didn't even manage to get him a present haha oops :P

If i remember correctly we had lunch at this ramen place at City hall :D Then we went back to his house cause we were feeling full and tired haha. Didn't stay there for long cause v soon we had to go back out to alter his suit!! HE BOUGHT A SUIT FOR ST'S 21ST BDAY PARTY. SO EXCITING. But it's a bit too big for him so that's why we had to quickly find a place to alter it!
Ws suggested going to Queensway so that's where we went :D This is me being all stalker-ish as usual..

The place Ws suggested wouldn't take up the offer cause the uncle said he's too busy to alter it :P So we found another place which does alterations!
Took this to send to Ws for him to check if it's okay haha. It can actually go tighter around the waist but the auntie said cannot cause if not his butt too big and if it becomes smaller it'll be too tight around that area HAHAHA. Oh well :P But it still looks good to me hehe :)

Then we made our way back to my house!! We were gonna go for my sister's early birthday celebration :D Cause my cousin is going overseas on the 14th and my sister's bday is on the 19th so just celebrate in advance lorh haha.
Erm we were at my house at the time my mom instructed me to be back but in the end we left MUCH LATER than that time LOL. Hahaha oh well. At least we still got the rest and chill for a bit! Andy ended up playing FIFA with my bro haha.
So we went to this place v to our house!! It's called Skye Wine Bistro i think. Super ex omg but it didn't disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were GREAT.
Appetizers! Practically my whole family was there haha (by whole family i mean including my cousins' family) and it was a really nice dinner :)
FRESH OYSTERS. The seafood taste was too strong for my liking though :P
Haha i saw that my cousin and his gf were drinking red wine so i wanted to try too!! So we asked for a glass and we couldn't appreciate it LOL. I ended up giving it to my cousin's gf and my grandma hahaha.

Yay then it arrived!! Took a pic of my cousin's gf's beef. IT WAS SO YUMMY. Came with truffle mash!!
And here's my duck confit which came with sweet potato mash hehe. It tasted really good as well!! Haha it looks small but it was actually very filling :P I almost couldn't finish it! Andy had the pork rack and it was huge OMG. But for some dishes the portion was quite small! SO weird haha. But they all taste yummy hehe.

They just made all of us carry pink branded bags/purses for fun LOL. I had no idea how to hold it my aunt had to teach me HAHA
Hehe after dinner it was time for cake-cutting!! :) I seriously can't believe that my sis is 16 this year. It felt like ytd when i turned 16 WTS.

Haha then at 10+ we started making our way back!! My dad gave Andy a lift home again :) And the plan was to meet again today for badminton :D
10th Jan, Sunday
Gonna be brief cause i wanna sleep alr hahaha. So today Andy and I were quite sad cause we knew we wouldn't be able to spend that much alone time tgt, cause we were meeting my cousins for badminton! Haha but they postponed it to after 4.30pm so we had a bit more time :D Haha i went to his house at around 11 then we just lepak-ed, had lunch, watched HIMYM and Star Wars!! :D I'm really starting to like Star Wars haha. Then at around 2.45pm i had to take a short nap cause i was feeling super tired for some reason :O Then at 3+ we head out :D
Got there quite early haha but we didn't really want to go up first so we just sat below their condo and chilled haha. It was really breezy and comfortable :D

Haha in the end we just went up to their house first and v soon we made our way to the badminton court :D Okay it's not a badminton court actually haha just a public space!
YAY. I played for awhile then i let my older cousins play! Hehe it was really fun although A LITTLE BIT pressurising cause my second cousin is quite good at it so he's quick to correct us when we serve wrongly etc. haha. But it's good for us to know how to play properly also lah!

WOW ANDY SO PRO. Hahaha i'm proud of him cause he was probably one of the better players :P My siblings and i are probably the lousiest but we are also the happiest and most chill hehe.
So after badminton we went back to my cousins' house and bathed! Then right after we had dinner with the rest of the family :) So glad Andy went haha i really love it when he joins us! He feels kind of out of place and self-conscious at times but tbh i feel like that every once in awhile when i'm at their house also haha. Cause they focus quite a lot on manners, speaking proper English etc. and it does get quite pressurising. But i grew up with it lah so i'm more used to it! Oh well haha. But if i was my family i'd have a good impression of Andy so i think he shouldn't be so paranoid!! Oh so we played some game called bananagram! It's kind of like Scrabble but more EXCITING hehe. You also have to form words and stuff! Subsequently we broke into teams. Andy and i teamed up and we won the very last game yayy. NOT BAD. We just shook hands afterwards HAHA.
So we left at 9+!! ANDD I SHALL SLEEP SOON. Not looking forward to going back to school tmr but i shall motivated myself!! OH and tmr is also my first OCSP interview :O Haha really hoping that it goes well! Just gonna be myself and leave the rest to God's will! :) Okayy that's all! I hope i blog again soon haha.
