Hey there! Okay so today i collected my edusave awards over at ACS Barker, it's also my sister's birthday! Can't believe that she's 13 already. Didn't feel like that long ago when i was 13, scary how time flies! Anyway, we wanted to go to USS after the awards ceremony, but it was raining and Sylvie was sick :( So we decided to just buy a cake and cut it at home! Definitely better than nothing, to make up for it we're going out for dinner tomorrow with the rest of the family :)
So Daddy drove Dan and I to ACS first (my brother's 'turf' hahahah) while my mom went to pick Sylvie up from school, she went to the Science Centre! Got there and registered, then bought drinks at the canteen. Went into the hall and the recipients had to be seated separately from their parents/family, so yeap we were all sitting with strangers. But i saw Regi and Amanda Low! :) Amanda got 3 awards ohmygosh. Initially i thought that only Sec 4s would be receiving awards but nope, students from any education level were entitled to them. So you can get it as many times possible and there were like Pri 2 students going up to receive the good progress award. Sec 4 and this is my very first time :P OH WELL HAHAH.
CAN'T HELP BUT FEEL PROUD OF MYSELF, although i know it's really not much! Hahah anyway i'm only posting this here cause i don't want it to seem like i'm boasting you knoww. Anyway i got $550 omg my mom was like 'don't have to work this holiday anymore' lol.
That 'scroll' is actually empty, lol you have to return it to them once you get off stage! :P I could literally feel my heart beating faster as it was my turn to go up on stage. Don't even know why i felt so nervous! Anyway my dad insisted on getting the minister to sign this photo, despite me telling him that it's really not necessary!
And he also asked for a photo haha. According to my mom my dad likes taking photos with ministers so okay. Thank goodness we asked first because awhile later there were many others queuing to take a photo with him! It was like never-ending.
DRASTIC DIFFERENCE. Lol my dad thought it would be cool to have the minister in the background OMG.
It can be incredibly hard to take a proper photo with my siblings. They just had to hold smth! Oh anyway it felt weird to be wearing the same uniform as Sylvie haha, she came from school.

Overall a great day, even though we didn't manage to go to USS! Hopefully Sylvie will feel better tmr :) Right gonna go now then. Excited to go out with Nic tmr! Byee :)
