HI THERE!! The first day of RED Camp was...kinda boring :( The path of discoveries weren't that interesting (with the exception of some components), there were just a lot of talks and stuff which bored the hell out of me. However, the cheering and stuff like that were super fun! :) Some games which we played were not bad too! Wow i really admire all the SLs for being able to maintain such a high energy level, i would never be able to do that! THEY ARE SO COOL AND FUNNY. Didn't take a lot of photos so yeahh. Ugh i'm freaking tired right now but i still decided to blog cause i know that i'd be too lazy to blog about both Day 1 and Day 2 tmr!
My mom gave Min Li and Grace a lift and we headed to Ngee Ann together :) We were late lol but there were others who were later! Can't remember exactly what we did, just gonna elaborate as i comment on the photos.
This was pretty late into the day alr, like not long before lunch?

Lunchh. I thought the food was pretty good, was just surprised that they made us eat on the floor lol. Practiced some cheers here! :) The SL that took us is super funny ohmygoshh. I just feel kinda sorry for him cause he keeps having to shout!
SORRY FOR LOOKING SO STUPID. Haha the 6 of us stayed together throughout, some others like Divya whom i thought were gonna go didn't turn up :( Within our tribe (NINJASS), we were split into sub-tribes based on where we were seated! Yeah so some other St Margs girls were in another sub-tribe!
TOOK PHOTOS HERE, KINDA A SIGN OF BOREDOM LOL. They gave us some talk about Bank and Accountancy!
Oh then the more interesting part arrived, we had to play some game about marketing? We had to randomly pick a product and plan on how to promote it to our "boss" within 3 mins, each group had like 9-10 people? We were given 10 mins to plan! I PRESENTED HEHEE. Idk i just felt like i was up to it, cause i had some ideas in my head that i didn't really have the chance to say while we were planning. I was practically "speed-talking" omg so funny, just blurted out whatever came to my mind haha. Oh so the facilitator asked us to cheer for the product that we would buy, based on the presentation. Yeah the winner was determined by the loudness of the cheers! Obviously we cheered for our own product haha. Best part was, the other team didn't cheer that loudly, but for us, WE SCREAMED LIKE HELL! IT WAS FREAKING EPIC. Omg St Margs spirit!! :) After awhile we were like half laughing half cheering LOL.
At the Design and Environment school :) We had to make a piggy-bank and it had to be an animal! The winner was chosen based on how functional, aesthetic and creative the piggy-bank was. Haha i kinda knew that we weren't going to win! We paired up and each pair had to make one! This is grace chia's and grace low's haha, it's supposed to be Tigger, but it looks more like a mouse to me! :P
Mine and Nickii's, supposed to be Piglet wth! I thought it looked more like a cross between a pig and a lion LOL. But i still like it, it's cutee! :)
The green one was done by Ruo Han and Min Li. Lol so lame i'm quite sure they didn't look at all the piggy-banks before deciding on the winner! Doubt they took a look at ours :/ Oh and it was so funny how the facil there kept saying "sub-tracks" instead of "sub-tribes", Min Li and Ruo Han could barely contain their laughter haha!
During the final talk! WAS SO BORED OH GOSH. Sorry the photo's kinda sucky, Grace took it!! :P The 3 of had to sit separately from the other 3 cause there weren't enough seats! Yeap, there was some Q&A game, which was supposed to be more fun but i still found it equally boring :/ I was annoyed at how they didn't give the person who was representing Ninjas a chance to answer any of the questions! :(
After that game was the mass dance! They taught us a couple of steps, wth i got sooo confused! BUT IT WAS FUN :) Lol we were supposed to pair up with a guy, but we couldn't be bothered to find one to partner haha. And there were obviously more girls than guys anyway! Many other people couldn't be bothered either, felt kinda bad for the SLs who had to keep persuading people to partner someone of a different gender! So like everyone in the back row were from St Margs hahaha. Yeap, it ended right on time! :) I GOT HOME BY BUS, IT WAS SO CROWDED OH GOSH.
I'm sad that we didn't get to make any new friends :( I kinda expected everyone to only hang out with people from their own school, but i didn't even TALK to anyone from another school!! How i wish they focused a little more on like, bonding the tribe mates! Yeah but i know the main focus in on trying to introduce the courses to us :/ OH WELL. Hmm i also didn't get to talk to Pearl and Sotong, even though we're in the same tribe! Pearl didn't even manage to pass us our souvenirs LOL. There were just too many people there!! Oh and how i wish Nic/Rachella went as well, ugh why didn't they sign up earlier :( Cause when i felt like singing i had no one to sing with! :( It would've made me feel less bored :/
OKAY I REALLY HOPE THAT TOMORROW WILL BE MORE FUN-FILLED! :) There's CCA Fiesta tmr yesss. I think that would be quite interesting! Yeap, okay i'm really exhausted! Idk whether or not to play audi laterr! Hmm maybe not, cya then! :)
