HI I CAN FINALLY BLOG USING A COMPUTER!! :) At Pearl's house now so i'm using her sister's laptop to blog haha. Anyway, here's the post i promised. This is not all the instax which i took during the trip! I'll post more photos in later posts :) SO, i was basically overflowing with joy the day i came back to Sg, especially in the morning. Idk why but it just felt so great to be back home!! Was so tired of packing, eating Italian food, checking for wifi everywhere i go and stuff. I felt so unused to being in my room haha.
Coming home to seeing mail from Regine and Sher truly brightened up my day! :) THANKS GUYS!! I feel compelled to write Christmas cards now..hmm should I? Oh and i also received two Edusave awards!! :) It might not seem like a huge deal but they mean quite a lot to me, especially the award for good progress :) Even if i don't do so well for Os i'm proud to say that i tried my best, AND i have these other achievements to be proud of :)
Next, we went to Yimi's house to celebrate her bday and to watch the TVB anniversary awards! :) (i slept for 7 hours before that omg) Dan and my mom didn't go cause mummy wasn't feeling well and Dan wanted to sleep lol. Here are the cakes my mom bought for the occasion! :) They're Christmas cakes not bday cakes though haha.
My grandmother, uncle, cousin and Jill were there! :) The awards show was good. I'm satisfied with the results with the exception of one award- Best Actor, why didn't Raymond Lam win??!!? It was Wayne Lai's third win wth, give others a chance!! Annoying omg i felt like protesting. Anyway i'm sooo happy that Tavia Yeung won best actress! :) She's my fav HK actress hehe.
SOME PHOTOS FROM YTD!! So we met at Coro to buy the ingredients that we needed. We were supposed to meet at 1 but i woke up at 2 omg! If Pearl didn't call my house to wake me up i would have slept till like 5 lol. Couldn't decided between baking red velvet cake or macaroons initially, ended up baking both! They were supposed to be red velvet CUPCAKES but we didn't have the liner thing to hold them lol so we just baked a cake. We walked to Greenwood cause we wanted to buy it but they didn't have them, ended up buying writing gel and almond powder for the macaroons.
Hahah they\were damn annoyed cause my house didn't have a lot of the tools required for baking! Like an electronic mixer! SO GUESS WHAT, we had to whisk the egg white manually which was exhausting! Thank goodness we borrowed an actual mixer from Dan's friend, if not we would've taken forever.
IN PROGRESS! Baked the red velvet cake while waiting for these to dry. Haha i sucked at piping Pearl is like some expert.
Added icing to the cake, drew on it and added these little toys! :) They're from the log cake we ate yesterday haha. Lol the purple thing is supposed to be a Christmas hat, i drew it i know it looks terrible haha.
YAY MACAROONS!! :) They didn't taste fantastic but i guess it's not bad for our first time! (well for Sotong and I) Yeap, then Pearl and Sotong joined my brother and friends in playing Halo hahahah. It was my very first time playing it! I SUCKED but whatever. They went home at about 10.30pm yeap.
So here i am at Pearl's house now, i got up at 1pm! Couldn't fall asleep last night :( Ugh really need to recover from jet lag soon. I wanna say more but i want to play Audi!! Can't play at home since my com isn't working so i have to grab the chance to play now! KAY BYE THEN :)
